Michelle Peart, DMD graduated cum laude from Princeton University. She continued her education at Boston University School of Dental Medicine in 2008. After dental school, Dr. Peart continued further training at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical System. After practicing for a few years as a general dentist, she pursued her passion and specialized in pediatric dentistry at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York City, a level one trauma center.
Dr. Peart fell in love with pediatric dentistry and has been practicing ever since. She made Georgia her home 4 years ago. As a mother she is sensitive to parents as they explore dental options for their little ones and is happy to address any concerns. During her free time, she enjoys attending cultural events, traveling, and spending time with her family.
He then continued his education by specializing in orthodontics and receiving a Master of Science in Oral Biology. Dr. Yavari has been practicing orthodontics in the Atlanta area since 1999. He is actively involved in several professional orthodontic and dental associations such as the American Association of Orthodontists and American Dental Association. In addition, Dr. Yavari regularly works as a mentorto young interns that are interested in entering the field of dentistry or orthodontics.
Hemant Dhawan, DMD graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with degrees in Neuroscience and Zoology. He attended a prestigious Ivy League institution for dental school, graduating from the University of Pennsylvania. After dental school, Dr. Dhawan was admitted for further specialty training at Maimonides Medical Center, an affiliate of the Weil Cornell Medical System.
Dr. Dhawan is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD). In nearly a decade of practice, he has mentored several students and generously devoted his free time to young dentists and surgeons at several residency programs.
Dr. Dhawan and his family are thrilled to call Georgia their new home and are excited to build new memories with our community. During his free time, he can be found with his young family enjoying the parks, movies, and child-friendly restaurants.

I had generally good experience with the dentist office until this year. So far, our visits were annual exams and clean-ups for my little one. Most recent visit this year gave me a pause and I have decided to switch the service to another office. Since my little one is still quite young, I asked them to do away with x ray, and they seemed to be discontent with my request and told me that it is covered by my insurance. I still decided to skip x ray. After the exam with a new dentist (which I was not aware that they were switching us to a new one when we made an appointment), I asked her how all looked. She gave me a less than 1 minute answer with discontent " .... ..., but I am not sure as we don't have the x ray" then she walked away. Well... excuse my choice of not getting my pre-schooler x rayed, but didn't really get the care I was expecting from a pediatric dentist...in addition, I would prefer a dentist who is more experience examining patients even with / without x rays

As today is the day my daughter's braces come off, I thought it would be a perfect time for a review of Crabapple Orthodontics. From the initial visit, we thought Dr. Yavari was great. We had interviewed others, and he was the right fit for our family. He is personable, so friendly, and set our expectations from day one. The entire process has been great. The staff is amazing. As a parent, I certainly recommend this practice, but more importantly, my daughter does too.

We went here for my 6 year old son who was told by our primary dentist that he had one cavity. Upon our first interaction with the dentist we were told he had 4. I thought this was slightly alarming but decided to roll with it. We came back to get them filled and they started working on my sons mouth with out warning to him or any instructions. He of course panicked. He didn't like the feeling of the laughing gas and started to gag when they put some tool in his mouth. He tried to sit up and take the nose mask off and the doctor started yelling at him saying "would you act like this at school well you're not going to act like this here". I was basically in shock. He blurted out some more rude sentences to my son and then pulled me outside the room to tell me "he just wasn't ready and needed some stronger medication to get the work done" which of course isn't covered by insurance. At that point, we decided to leave and get a second opinion. So glad we did!!! Turns out my son only had ONE cavity after taking additional x rays. He had the work done at a different pediatric dentist with no numbing medicine, no laughing gas, and no $600 out of pocket sedation. If you want to be taken to the cleaners you should use this dentist. If not, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else or get a second opinion on whatever treatment plan they suggest.

We love Dr Javier and his staff. All three of our children have been to him for both sets of their braces and they all have beautiful smiles now. He's caring, attentive, and so supportive of any anxiety or nervousness that some of my children have had. We would 100% recommend him to any parent.

New patient! Had recently came here for my nephew's cleaning and check up. They don't have you waiting for very long if you have all paperwork done. All staff was caring, efficient, and information was explained thoroughly. My nephew walked out happy and content . And the office was clean and beautiful!

We had a great experience. Dr.Yavari was so nice and welcoming. The service was great. I was checked in and immediately checked by the doctor. They were very accommodating and would recommend this place for children. The place was even decorated beautifully.

The entire team at Crabapple Orthodontics is great! We felt welcome and almost like part of a family from our first visit. Dr.Yavari is so nice, funny and informative. Kelly is absolutely wonderful, she made my teen son enjoy and even look forward to his visits. I highly recommend their services!
