'Dr. Lin is a warm, compassionate and gentle dentist worthy of your trust and confidence Dr. Lin received her B.A. from University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and her D.M.D from University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. She then went on to Columbia University for her Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency. She also received an Advanced Education in General Dentistry certification from the New York-Presbyterian Hospital of Cornell and Columbia University.
Dr. Lin believes in performing quality dentistry for all her patients from pediatric to geriatric. She addresses patients ' needs during comprehensive treatment planning. She loves giving patients their beautiful smile again. Dr. Lin is easy-going, kind hearted and loves the movie 'Pay It Forward '. During her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, playing volleyball, tubing, boating and swimming.'
Dr. Thomas Helfst is a certified, well-known, Stroudsburg oral surgeon in the private practice for around 20 years. He graduated from SUNY Stonybrook Dental School and did his oral surgery residency in Lincoln. He strives for perfectionism and performs optimum care for his patients. Recently, he started teaching the oral surgery residents Mondays to Fridays at the hospital in NY and spends his time Saturdays seeing his private patients.
Jaimie McGuire is a surgical technologist and dental assistant. She has an associates degree from McCann School of Business and Technology. Working here has made Jaimie become very interested in dentistry. She is now a student at ESU getting her BA degree. In the future, she would like to become a dentist. Jaimie is very bubbly and family oriented. She has shown maturity in helping her family through difficult times.
Janeth is a dental assistant. She graduated as a dental assistant from California. She is a native Californian and is a certified dental assistant. Janeth speaks English and Spanish. She is fun, kind, helpful and friendly. She is a great asset to the practice because she is always early, dependable even when she is under the weather. Janeth is married and has two beautiful children. Her husband was a former military man. They now reside in Pennsylvania.
Heba has a bachelors degree in biology from the Pennsylvania State University. She hopes to become a Physician Assistant in the future and is devoted to providing an excellent patient care experience. Heba is CPR/first aid/AED certified and is fluent in Arabic and English.
TerryB is a dental assistant. She graduated as a dental assistant from New York. She is a certified, hard working and efficient dental assistant. She has been with the practice almost since Dr. Lin took over the practice. She took some time off but still came back to help from time to time. Terry loves cats and enjoy having family time with her husband and her kid. Her work and dedication have been wonderful and it is always smooth flowing when she is around.
TerryS is a front desk receptionist. She is very kind, funny and compassionate. She loves dogs. Terry used to work in the ER department in Lehigh Valley Poconos. We are very happy she can join our team as a front desk receptionist. Whatever is happening in her life, Terry keeps on moving with a smile. She is a force in our office and she does the very best she can to help our patients.

My mom started at this practice with Dr. Lin and she has nothing but the best things to say. She's completely comfortable here and trusts her implicitly. It is nice for me to know she has this trusted place to go to.

Dr. Lin is an exceptional dentist. Her knowledge and the comfort level she brings to patients is extraordinary, varying for all ages. I would highly recommend her if you are looking for great oral care !

My family have been going to Dr. Lin for years. My sister had her wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Helfst. Both very skillful and gentle, and great people to be around. Highly recommend for any dental needs.

Waste of time. I took the day off after scheduling an appointment to get a check up. When I got there they look confused as to why I'm there. I say I have an appointment. They then tell me they forgot to call me to cancel and one of the employees is smiling like she is holding in laughter that I wasted my time going there. First impressions are a lasting impression and if that's the level of professionalism they have, I feel sorry for their other clients. They lost my business with their disregard for other people's time. By all means go somewhere else for your dental needs.

This place is great. My family and I have been going there for years (had a lot of problems with my teeth). The staff is friendly and efficient. They're very good about dealing with emergencies such as cracked crowns. Dr Lin is very good about explaining what she's doing which helps the anxiety level. I'll be frank, no one likes the dentist but I like this one. They take great Covid precautions. I usually don't review medical professionals but saw that stupid one star review that someone left and had to say something. Maybe the Doctor was sick or had an emergency. I have NEVER had an issue with an appointment.

Cozy Family Dental earns 5 stars. I had a particularly difficult dental procedure that required a lot of extra time and effort to resolve and Dr. Lin and her staff have outperformed my expectations in every area. From good communications for appointments to working with a lab and another specialists office throughout the process as well as dealing with the difficulties presented by the pandemic she and her team dotted every i and crossed every t.

Absolutely wonder staff!! All the ladies working here are so kind and patient. I saw both dentists for a consult on my broken tooth. They were extremely nice to me and didn't try to push me into anything. The male dentist assured me the entire time of my extraction. He even did breathing techniques with me and he didn't know that I have an anxiety disorder. He had my tooth out in about 5 minutes. Seriously the most painless experience of my life. I never write reviews but I felt compelled to write one for them.
