The founder of Coyote Dental, Dr. Mark McMahon, is a graduate of the University of Pacific School of Dentistry. His father, Dr. William McMahon, was also a dentist who practiced in Tucson, AZ for over 35 years. Dr. Mark carried on his fathers legacy of caring for patients and providing affordable care.
Dr. Mark established his own expertise in the area of cosmetic dentistry and created a company to help other dentists market their practices. Jane Pavones career spans over 40 years. She was a news editor, anchor, reporter and producer, in both print and television, working in New York, Arizona and California. Then joined an international energy company building and developing infrastructure in Europe and Asia.

I was skeptical at first! But after having the procedure done for upper dentures, I was pleasantly pleased with the Dentist and his staff. The procedure was relatively painless and my recovery time was minimal. I have no dental insurance and the cost was 70% less than what I would have paid in Tucson Arizona. I am very appreciative of Coyote Dental and Dr Marc and his team for helping me get this quality dental work done at a out of pocket cost I could afford.
What an outstanding professional experience at a reasonable cost. Unlike the US dentists, Dr. Marco did not try to sell me unnecessary dental treatments. The quality of Dr. Marcos dental work was equal to any US dentist. Our van driver Bobby got us through the border in record time. Coyote Dental is now my primary dentist.

---Shuttle Service No Longer Available---Coyote dental proved to be the solution to a problem that I had been trying to solve for over six years. I relocated back to Arizona after living in the state of Washington for over a decade. While I lived in/moved around Washington I had no difficulties finding competent and ADA compliant dentists whom I trusted enough to become and remain their patient in order for them to provide "continuity of care". Since the year 2012, I have had no less than seven different AZ dentists that have actually performed "work" on my teeth. (I am not counting the number of dentists that failed the "pre-screening" process where I met with them just for the purpose of a consultation.) In each case those dentists/offices were fired as my "dental services provider" and for just cause in each situation. At first I just moved on to another dentist hoping that the next one would be competent/ADA compliant and took no action against the former dentist/office. But then the "new" dentists would be problematic and/or completely disregard the standards of care. I then chose to file formal complaints (Professional misconduct/ethical misconduct) with the AZDA (Arizona Dental Association) and/or the ASBDE (Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners) who could have and should have compelled the dentists to comply with disciplinary actions if they did not. Neither the ADA nor the ASBDE ever took the actions necessary to deal with these problematic dentists. The "system of checks and balances" proved ineffective and the dentists remain non-compliant. As I see it, these dentists now feel empowered/emboldened due to lack of enforcement actions by the AZDA/ASBDE and can act with impunity with the patients having no other recourse than to just leave their office. So while I do have the money and can afford the dental services provided by the Arizona dentists, I choose not to. I stopped looking for a competent/ADA compliant dentist in Arizona. To me it's like fishing in a polluted pond and expecting to reel in something worth eating. Instead, I am choosing to use the services of Coyote Dental where Dr. Mark has all ready pre-screened the dental services providers AS a dental service provider himself. My new dentist/office have already proven in my first visit that they are both competent and compliant with the same "standards of care/guidelines" that I expected to receive from an Arizona dentist but didn't even after seven different dentists and six years of searching. For me, my visit included getting a crown on a pre-molar in one visit (from start to finish) and with the same equipment/technology that I saw while I was in the office of the " best dentist as voted by other dentist's" in Arizona. My "Continuity of care" problem is now solved by supporting a dental service provider(s) who follows the guidelines/standards just because it's the right/best thing to do. Thanks Coyote Dental. (^_^) Note- I continue to get Dental services from the same Dentist but I now personally drive to Nogales and walk across....

Went to Arizona Dental. Easy to get there after crossing the border its literally right in front of you. Offices were clean, staff was friendly and helpful. I saw Dr. Calvo. He removed a crown and prepped a tooth for a root canal. Another dentist did the root canal and Dr. Calvo made a porcelain crown. Completely pain free. I left Saddlebrooke at 7 and was home by 3. Very happy wuthtge service and saved $1600 on the same procedure done in Oro Valley 3 months ago (even with dental insurance). I'll definitely go back.

Drive was short from Green Valley, finding the office was quick and easy and the level of service was very good. The staff that provided service are keepers. DDS Chavez and Rivera were the best. I was really in good hands! I return in 3 months for an implant crown.

Had a great time in Mexico and Coyote Dental made all the arrangements that worked out perfect. My wife's dentist here in the states said she needed a crown, whereas the dentist in Mexico said there was no need for that. I had 2 crowns done in 4 hours and kept a lot of cash in my pocket. I was a dental tech in the Navy and know I have gotten better care with Coyote Dental then anywhere here in the states. For "Jane" at Coyote Dental a special "THANK YOU" for the excellent care. Dr. Mark & the Coyote Dental Team were amazing. I called a booked an appointment within a week. The scheduler sent me an email with directions. It is very easy to park and walk across the border. The dentist office was very clean and everyone was nice. Dr. Mark took 2 different x-rays of my teeth. I had been told from a dentist in the USA that I needed to replace 2 crowns. Dr. Mark did an evaluation and determined I only needed to replace one crown. I got a same day crown. The whole visit was done within 3 hours. He was very kind and professional. I will definitely be back and will be recommending my friends and family to Dr. Mark & the Coyote Dental Team.

I was confused about which of the several dental clinics to go in to and ended up sitting for 2 hours in the WRONG clinic. When I called Jane, she directed me to the correct clinic. While I had to wait a bit for an opening, they did see me. I was a little disappointed when the dentist told me they couldn't reline my lower denture implant. He did offer to build me a new one, replace the old fashioned posts all for the low low price of $2600. I declined and he offered to do a temporary soft reline for $70. My total bill was $85 for the soft reline and the panoramic xray. Overall, I was satisfied with the visit.

I was greeted warmly and waited a short time. I was amazed at the high quality of the equipment and technology. The exrays were done by a machine moving around me instead of the way they were don in the US. Then, there was a very easy to use device that took individual detail exrays by simply pointing the end at the tooth and the root. Then, my teeth were clean by using a spinning drill-like device. It was quick and painless. The same was true of polishing. The dentist was able to immediately give me an overview. There was no waiting to develop photos. I could see the teeth and details myself. Then, the bill...only $55.00. In the States my bill would have been $400.00 and it would have taken 3 hours using older technology. I could not have been more pleased.

Another great experience. A bonus was meeting Dr. Mark McMahon, who was at Arizona Dental with a family member. It was nice to say thank you to the man helping to make it possible to have excellent, affordable dental care as an alternative to exorbitant costs in the U.S. that prevent many from receiving care.
