Kurt Froehlich, DDS, practices at Coxsackie Dental Arts in West Coxsackie, New York, as a family and cosmetic dentist. Dr. Froehlich is proud to continue offering care to the people of Greene County for what will be his third consecutive decade.

After graduating from New York University Dental School in 1988, Dr. Froehlich began practicing dentistry in West Coxsackie. Since then, he has won several awards for his commitment to continuing education and has been a consistent advocate for using the best, most cutting-edge treatment methods available for his patients.

In 2002, Dr. Froehlich became one of the first dentists in the state to begin using digital X-rays and photography, exposing his patients to less radiation and getting them a more accurate picture of what is ailing them. This set the trend for Dr. Froehlichs practice, and the commitment to state-of-the-art care has not wavered since.

Bruce Trott, DDS, is new to the practice and joins Coxsackie Dental Arts of West Coxsackie, New York as an orthodontist. Dr. Trott is proud to offer his seasoned expertise in orthodontic services to the West Coxsackie community.

Since graduating from New York University College of Dentistry in 1960, Dr. Trott has served the people of upstate New York with the highest quality of care in orthodontics for decades. Dr. Trott excels at recognizing and treating misalignments to the smile. He offers Invisalign and other aligner trays to his patients in addition to traditional orthodontic solutions to help them achieve perfect smiles and optimal oral health.

Dr. Robert Castracane, one of only 462 Diplomates of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry in the USA, is truly drawn to two things, and likely for the same reason. He loves the wide-open thrills of downhill skiing, and performing dental implant surgery. One is his past time, the other, his passion. Both require incredible precision and attention to detail, and that inspires his true expertise in implant dentistry.

He is one of only 400 dentists worldwide to be recognized by the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry as a Diplomate. The Diplomate designation signifies the highest level of competence in implant dentistry. Similarly, Dr. Castracane is a recognized Diplomate by the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the worlds largest dental implant organization. Its sole purpose is to provide the highest quality education so that dentists can better serve their patients. Hes even a Fellow at the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

Many factors contribute to teeth yellowing. The foods you eat and drink, certain medications, and age might all be contributing factors. Surface stains on the enamel of your teeth from drinks like tea, coffee, and red wine, can make your teeth appear yellowish. Tobacco and smoking are also significant causes.

In either instance, the whitening solution is not harmful to put in your mouth and on your teeth. The only discomfort you may experience is temporary tooth and gum sensitivity from the bleaching agents.

Your dental professional will cover your gums and lips to protect them from the solution. The trays are filled with the whitening gel and a unique LED lamp is positioned over your teeth. You sit back and relax as the bleach and light work together to whiten your teeth for three 15-minute treatments in a single visit.

Between treatments, you wait comfortably, and after the last bleaching treatment, your dental expert covers your teeth in a post-treatment gel to reduce any sensitivity you might have after the whitening. Thats all. Your teeth are whiter, and your smile is brighter in about two hours.

I'm having dental issues after my second child. I called the office to see if they take my insurance. The receptionist that picked up was extremely nasty " uh no, we don't take your insurance.. I've never even heard of that". (not what someone wants to hear when they are in pain and looking for help) Not only was she extremely rude and pushed me off. She didn't even for a second try to help. First impressions are everything, that was horrible... I do live local. I'll find an office that cares.

This is my first time at the dentist in.. an embarrassingly long while, but I am so glad that I sucked it up and went. Everyone was so incredibly pleasant AND they have an occasional office pup - so sweet. Rachel did my deep cleaning. She made sure to walk me through the whole process, and she checked in with me multiple times throughout the procedure. I highly recommend Coxsackie Dental Arts if you're searching for a wonderful dental experience!

I'm leaving a 5 star review for the staff and DR V. BUT Dr C on the other hand gets ZERO STARS. This man scared me for life months ago. Honesty I'm still scared to go to the dentist because of him. He was extracting a tooth and did not get me numb enough. I told him several times and he ignored me and told me he has done this a long time and continued pulling the tooth. I'm screaming, crying and yelling and he is so aggravated with me cause I am moving around in the chair so much telling me to calm down and stuff. This went on for at least 10 minuites. But when he FINALLY gave me more Novacaine I was fine. He did apologize but what worries me is his attitude with other people. This situation was not handled properly. I now see DR V who IS the best and I only go to the Hudson location. Just be aware of who you see here. When I said I was screaming and crying and no one came to check on me I mean it. And no one came to check on me.

Horrible experience. Not only did they waste almost two months of my time but the day I went in to get my tooth pulled they basically said it was scheduled wrong and the Dentist that had already pulled one of my teeth was no longer seeing patients and he's just going to not work their anymore. The icing on the cake was how they're mistake was made out like it was on me. Very arrogant/rude people that failed to take the slightest bit of responsibility. Thanks for the name of a place I could've googled 2 months ago! Top notch

Dr. Vasu and his assistant Sarah made what should have been a fear filled dental visit an almost pleasure. (I needed 7 fillings... nothing could make that a pleasure) Dr. Vasu's calm demeanor and Sarah's ability to know what he needed when he needed it, made for a uniquely non-traumatic dental experience. Shout out to the front desk staff also... they all had a great sense of humor and helped put my frayed nerves at ease.

Dr Vasu is an artist. I am extremely pleased with his work. Two weeks ago began using a 4 tooth partial every day , all day. I can eat anything. No sore spots. Thank You Dr. Vasu

I went in to the office this morning with full blown anxiety and fear of what was ahead in my appointment. Sara, Dr. Vasu and the therapy dog Peaches immediately calmed my nerves and made me laugh and feel comfortable right away. I can NOT rave enough about this wonderful practice. Thank you again to all of you (including reception) that make you feel so welcome and safe!

Horrible experience there.I felt like walking in the door I was nothing but a number, and money and financing was there only concern. Dr Froehlich did a repair on a chipped tooth which lasted a whole month and half then charged me again for the repair which again lasted a little more then a month and is not right currently. Not a fan and neither are most people I've now talked to about the place and there experiences there. "STAY AWAY"
