Did you know Dr. Cox spent 11 years in training to become an orthodontist? He spent 4 years in college, 4 years in dental school, and 3 additional years of specialty training during his orthodontics residency program!
Staying up-to-date on the latest techniques and technology is important to Dr. Cox. At our office, we use high-quality brackets, low-force wires, radiation-minimizing digital x-rays, high-resolution digital photography, and other advances for more comfortable and efficient orthodontic treatment.
I have nothing, but great things to say about my experience at Cox Orthodontics! I had Invisalign braces for about 3 months on my lower teeth. The staff is very friendly and professional. My teeth look great and it was totally worth it!

Dr. Cox was born and raised in Campbellsville, a small town in Central Kentucky. As the son of a dentist, he gained an early appreciation for the positive impact his father could have on the lives of his patients and throughout the community. As a result, that example led him to pursue a career in dentistry. After high school, Dr. Cox attended the University of Kentucky, where he received his degree in Business Management and Administration. He was then accepted to the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree and graduated with the highest distinction. After that, he continued his education and completed his specialty training at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, where he received his Master of Science in Dentistry (MS) and Certificate in Orthodontics.
Outside the office, Dr. Cox enjoys working out and staying active. He loves doing anything outdoors, especially golfing. He also loves watching and playing sports, traveling, and taking every opportunity to spend time with family and friends.
I am so excited to be a member of the community here in Franklin. If there is one thing you should know about me, its that I love being an orthodontist and having the opportunity to form friendships and get to know each patient. My team and I are committed to providing outstanding care. We find it especially rewarding to see patients gain the confidence they deserve that comes from having a beautiful smile.

I can't recommend Cox Orthodontics highly enough! They are the best! Dr. Cox takes the time to listen thoroughly and is so kind, competent, and empathetic. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients. His team is very warm and hospitable- they make the office atmosphere feel both inviting and professional. I will definitely be referring anyone in need of orthodontics to this practice!

I highly recommend Cox Orthodontics! Everyone in this office is so kind and fun. It feels like you're visiting old friends when you come here. I'm not finished with my braces yet but I'm already so happy with my smile thanks to Dr Cox. I almost don't want to take off my braces because I look forward to seeing everyone there once a month! I seriously can't recommend Cox Orthodontics enough! If you want to have an amazing experience with braces you need to come here!
