Born in Venezuela, Dr. Cox grew up in south Florida and has called upstate South Carolina home for several years. Her Doctor of Dental Medicine was awarded by Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. Since graduating, Dr. Cox has sought out continuing education opportunities and to expand her skills and the services shes able to provide patients.
Oral healthcare is an evolving field. Advances in materials, techniques and technology mean more options, stronger results and more comfortable dental experiences for patients. Dr. Cox is committed to providing each patient with the smile of their dreams and ensuring treatment is efficient, effective and comfortable. Continuing education is part of that commitment.
Dr. Coxs husband, Adam, is a practicing general dentist. The couple has two young children. When shes not caring for patients, Dr. Coxs priority is time with her family. They enjoy attending outdoor festivals, cooking together and participating in activities with her church. Dr. Cox believes in helping others. She participates in mission trips to Jamaica, supports Hope Pantry and volunteers in her churchs nursery.
Dr. Adam Cox graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in 2011. He became a dentist because he likes being able to help others and give them a good experience. He finds it rewarding to fix a wide range of problems and have a sense of accomplishment from a job well done and having satisfied patients. He is thankful for the fantastic team of assistants, hygienists and front office staff and the great work they do.
Dr. Cox has been married to his wife and fellow dentist, Yani, for almost 10 years, and is grateful to be able to work with her. He admires the work she does. Together, they have two wonderful children named Thomas and Sarah, and they love spending time together as a family, along with their two cats, Boots and Tiger. When he is not at the office, Dr. Cox enjoys working out, reading, doing yardwork and other outdoor activities. His Christian faith is important to him and he enjoys being active in his church.

I am a wife and a mother of three beautiful children: Valentina, Alexander and a new baby, Abigail. I have a cat that we consider part of our family. When Im not in the office, I love to spend time with my kids playing outdoors and watching movies.

Ill sit by your side to assist Dr. Cox and talk with you about what were doing. When were finished, Ill provide home-care instructions and check to make sure youre happy with what weve done.
Im a newcomer to South Carolina. Born and raised in Florida, I moved here in June 2016 with my fianc, daughter and our cat. When Im not working, Im spending time with my family and probably exploring our new state. We enjoy the outdoors, hiking, festivals, historic battlefields and farmers markets. Its fun to live in a place with seasons!
Zuleyva Dental Assistant Zuleyva graduated from Spartanburg Community College in 2018 with her degree in Applied Science and certification as an expanded duties dental assistant, after which she joined our dental team. Zuleyva is a team player, and consistently puts her patients first to ensure they receive excellent care. She loves that our practice has allowed her to grow as a dental assistant and to become even more passionate about dentistry. Zuleyvas love of dentistry has helped her to realize that she wants to return to school to become a registered dental hygienist.
Zuleyva has two supportive parents who have always encouraged her to be the best she can be and to pursue her education in what she is most passionate about. She also has two younger sisters, age 17 and 11.
April ReceptionistHello! Thank you for coming to Cox Dental care. I work the front desk at our office, greeting and checking-in patients, taking calls and helping with insurance. I joined our team in 2019, but I have been working in the medical field for more than 20 years. My favorite part of being part of this team is patient care. Our team is fun, and we care about our patients. We are caring of everyone we meet.I spend most of my time with my family. I have an amazing husband and two wonderful stepchildren. I have three dogs who are my kids as well. Outside of work, I love spending time at the beach and in the mountains. My family and I try to travel as much as possible. We serve at our church that we love as well.
Erika ReceptionistErika Peraza is our new receptionist and recently joined our practice in October. She loves that the practice is very family-friendly and organized, making it a stress-free environment. She has a daughter Aujulianna and a son, Noah, and is excited to marry her high school sweetheart soon! She loves spending time with her family, traveling to the mountains and the beach and trying new foods. She adores her Siberian Husky, Bella. Erika was born in Washington state and came to South Carolina in 2001. Prior to moving here, she has lived in Washington, California, Kansas and Maine.
Vivianna Registered Dental HygienistViviana graduated from Greenville Technical College in May 2021, and she joined our practice in October 2021. She loves being a part of a team that strives to give the best individualized treatment to each patient and develop long-lasting relationships with them. Viviana shows up every morning eager to provide thorough dental hygiene care to our patients while ensuring they have a pleasant experience.
Viviana has Puerto Rican and Guatemalan heritage from her mother and father respectively. Viviana was born and raised in Puerto Rico and moved to South Carolina with her husband, Yamil, in 2018. She and Yamil have been married since 2018. They adopted their dog, Marko, in 2019. Marko is like their baby, and they have enjoyed his companionship since adopting him. Viviana likes playing soccer in a Sunday League and hanging out with friends. She also enjoys going to new outdoor places and traveling with her husband.
Heather Dental HygienistHeather graduated from Greenville Technical College. She joined our practice in August 2021. Heather loves working with a team that has been so warm and welcoming, and she contributes to the success of our practice by helping patients with their oral health.
