Dr. Lauren Teachout has always loved being part of a small town. She was raised in Bono, AR and attended college in Batesville, AR at Lyon College. She earned her dental degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry and upon graduating was awarded the Sidney S. Friedman, Sr. Periodontology Award. Dr. Lauren is currently a member of the American Dental Association and Tennessee Dental Association. She is looking forward to becoming involved in the Covington community as well!
Dr. Lauren knew from a very young age that she wanted to be a professional in the medical field, and while in college she began exploring all the many options. After seeing the impact that a changed smile made in my father and husbands lives, I knew that dentistry would allow me the opportunity to truly make a difference in the lives of others. Dr. Lauren is excited about the ever-changing dental field, learning to provide treatment with the newest technology, and being able to share her passion with her patients.
Aside from dentistry, she most enjoys spending time and making memories with family and friends- especially her husband, Kirk, and her two sons, Parker and Wynn. She enjoys being active with her church family, traveling, and being outdoors.

1st visit today and WOW! Everyone was incredibly nice and felt like I was the only patient there, even with a packed house! I def recommend, call soon and get in line Bc it will be worth the wait!

Covington Family Dental is the best dentist office I have ever been to! Donna at the front desk is super kind and helpful. Ashley is an outstanding dental hygienist- brilliant, efficient and caring. Dr. Lauren is amazing - takes time to talk to the patients and is very skilled. They have new, modern equipment, a bright, positive atmosphere and provide notch care. Would give ten stars if possible!

Just had another teeth cleaning this morning and as usual it was pain free. The first time in all my 67 years do I not dread going to the dentist. Dr Lauren and her staff are knowledgeable and give me the answers to my questions. They make you feel welcome as soon as you enter the office.
