Dr. Shahriari completed his undergraduate training at Emory University with a BS in biology. After receiving his Masters in Public Health from Emory University in Epidemiology and International Health, Dr. Shahriari worked for the CDC for three years. He also served as a consultant to the World Health Organization for eradication of the polio virus in Bihar, India. He received his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania with multiple awards for his research and volunteer work in Songea, Tanzania. He received his specialty certification in oral and maxillofacial surgery from Emory University.

As a result of his extensive research and academic interests, Dr. Shahriari has presented multiple articles at national and international meetings. He is actively engaged in research projects involving different aspects of maxillofacial surgery. He speaks three languages (English, Spanish and Persian) and believes that the most important and rewarding part of his work is the care of his patients. His philosophy is to approach treatment through the perspective of the patient, emphasizing that good communication is essential for exceptional care and a trusting, long-lasting relationship.

2nd Appointment: I called to confirm that they still took our insurance and they said yes. I made appointments a month in advance and had email and text confirmations. We showed up and they did not have our appointments, and they did not take our insurance. They said that we did not confirm our appointments (I did) and that they tried to leave a voicemails but my voicemail was full (it was empty) - I checked my phone and they called once and did not leave a voicemail. The front desk girl was nice. 1st Appointment: Everything was good until the very end when they told me that I could schedule the appointment for my fillings up front - but no one had mentioned fillings at all (and I was paying close attention) or I would have asked questions when they asked if I had any. Update: They sent me a $700 bill, when I had clearly repeated that I only wanted what was approved by my insurance.

Everyone was polite and friendly nothing but good things to say except they forgot to give me my prescriptions and it took a few days as to was a weekend and a holiday to get it all corrected. So I was in pain for 5 extra days that's why I took one star away.

I truly enjoyed my visit. The staff was helpful and kind. The dentist had a great chair-side manner. I was very comfortable even though I was in pain. I did not have to wait for service.

Thought they are polite I am Totally disappointed with the services (or lack there of) here. I've had to make multiple appointments for a basic new patient cleaning. I got very few answers and told that I just have to reschedule and come back after they looked at my teeth. Well it's been at least 3 times "back" and still no cleaning, and they want to schedule more "assessments". This makes the 24 hrs of sick leave I've wasted here and still no cleaning. This third visit they asked me same rudimentary questions and said they couldn't clean my teeth because they have to take more e rays to figure out what type of cleaning they need to do. I told them I'm not comfortable with them treating me, because I've never had to deal with 3 assessments before getting a cleaning and walked out and found another dentist. Note, I have no cavities (haven't had one in 30 yrs) no braces, no dental implants and a "text book" bite. This seems ridiculous to me. They rarely answer the phone and seem to think it's important to close the entire office during lunch in the middle of the day and don't answer the phone then. This may work for some business / practice people but not for patients who have busy schedules and work every day. I don't think that business should shut the entire operation down for a lunch break everyday. Schedule your staff and service your patients. If you want to deal with extend wait times, long lunch breaks, and multiple assessments then this is the dentist office for you. If you want answers, a practice that is focuses on serving patients find another office. Coving Center for Family Dentistry, you have to do better. Smh

I had a pleasant time today at my dental appointment. My hygienist was lovely one of the best Hygienist I have ever had, my teeth feel so clean. Dr Salvador was very professional and knowledgeable. They really educate you about your dental health but most importantly it's a comfortable experience. I highly recommend this office they have some true professional working here.

Very very disappointed I cannot believe that I sent my husband there because he was experiencing tooth pain and when he arrived still in pain he was sent away to another clinic in Conyers who also sent him away in pain without helping him and scheduling him for a future appointment three weeks to a month away I do not understand what are you therefore if you are not there to help people who are having mouth pain if you cannot even help them why are you there very disappointed
