After graduating from Dental School, my family and I returned to Waynesboro and acquired the practice of the retiring Dr. Donavan Shockey. I thoroughly enjoy dentistry and still love coming to work each morning. The office has been blessed with wonderful staff, who have been with me for many years and whom I look forward to greeting each day.

The long-term friendships with patients who have been with me for 3 or 4 decades have been heartwarming and I look forward to catching up with their lives at each visit. By the same token, I enjoy meeting new patients and learning what brought them to the Waynesboro area and to our office. Fortunately, throughout my career, I have been blessed with a steady stream of new patients.

I feel so fortunate to be able to relieve pain, restore smiles and transform lives. Dentistry is so rewarding to me that I have spent more time doing volunteer dentistry than taking vacations. This happens both locally and internationally.

Stacey has been working in the dental field since 1985 and received her training through Frederick Community College. Her years as a Certified Dental Assistant give her added insight when discussing treatment, scheduling, and handling financing arrangements. Stacey also brings a very in-depth knowledge of dental insurance plans, benefits, and limitations to our practice. Stacey has worked with Dr Zimmerman and this staff since 1999, she will tell you she feels blessed to come to workand share her days with the extraordinary people here at Covenant that she feels are 'family'.

Tena has been an administrative assistant in the dental field for 16 years. She joined the Covenant family in 2010 and feels very blessed to be a part of such a great team. She enjoys spending time with her family and grandchildren. She enjoys baking delicious cupcakes and everything Christmas!!!

Lori has worked in the dental field since 2013 and joined this practice as an administrative assistant in 2016. She received her formal education from Hagerstown Community College. Lori enjoys being able to serve the community on a daily basis and loves working at Covenant Family Dentistry because patient care is placed at such a high standard. Lori feels that she has grown a lot personally and professionally during her time here and is looking forward to many happy years with this practice. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and cuddling her pets.

Cheryl has worked with Covenant Family Dentistry since 2006. She has 44 years of experience in the dental field, having worked in general dentistry, orthodontics, oral surgery, and clinical management, and front office management. Cheryl is a Waynesboro native and enjoys working in her community. She feels dentistry is a great career choice where one can make a difference for people by helping them have and maintain good oral health. Cheryl has transitioned from being a chairside assistant to fulfilling a 'behind the scenes' administrative position for Covenant Family Dentistry.

Abigail joined the Covenant Family in 2020 as the covid screener, She moved to an administrative assistant, at the beginning of the year. She looks forward to spending many years here and serving the community. She loves spending time with her family and cuddling with her puppy.

Sarah is a dental hygienist and she has worked with Dr Zimmerman and Covenant since 1996. She first worked here as an assistant then returned working here as a dental hygienist upon receiving her dental hygiene degree. Sarah attended Allegany College of Maryland. Sarah enjoys the opportunity to serve people and to help bring patients to better dental health.

Dental Hygiene has been Mary's career since graduating from West Liberty College in 1985. Mary has been with Dr Zimmerman and Covenant since 1999. She loves working at Covenant with our team oriented staff and enjoys helping our patients feel welcomed and comfortable while providing dental services to them.

Carol is a 1979 graduate of Allegany College in Cumberland, MD, Carol has been a dental hygienist for the past 40 years and has worked for Dr Zimmerman and Covenant since 1995. She enjoys meeting and working with patients of all ages and establishing long term relationships with them.

Cindy began her dental career as an orthodontic assistant. She decided to further her education in dentistry and graduated from Allegany College of MD as a registered dental hygienist. She has a background in orthodontics, periodontics, and general dentistry. She holds a license in Pennsylvania and Maryland. She is also certified to administer local anesthetics to her patients.

Cindy will provide quality, compassion, and comfort to her patients. She enjoys working as a team with her patients to provide personalized information they will need to keep smiling for a lifetime. She connects to her patients on a personal level so there is always laughter coming from her room.

In her spare time she enjoys the company of her family, volunteering with Dentistry From the Heart and Convoy of Hope. She enjoys traveling and at times you will find her 90 feet deep in the Caribbean scuba diving with a camera in her hand.

Beth graduated from Allegany College of Maryland in 1996 and she has worked as a dental hygienist for the past 25 years. Beth brings years of experience and knowledge to Covenant Family Dentistry after joining the team in 2020. Beth loves getting to know her patients while providing the absolute best in dental care. Beth's motto is: Smile More. It's even written on the back of her race car. That's right, in her spare time she co-owns a race team that competes in the Central PA Legends Series. Beth also enjoys antiquing and thrifting.

Sarah is an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA). She has been working in the dental field for over 30 years, and with Dr Zimmerman since 1986. Sarah received formal training through the Franklin County Vo-Tech School and the Academy of Medical Arts and Business in Harrisburg, PA. She enjoys working with children and feel rewarded by helping them overcome their fear of coming to the dentist. Sarah has enjoyed meeting new people and developing friendships with patients over the years.

Missy is an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA). She has been in the dental field since 2000, She received her certification through The Academy of Medical Arts and Business in Harrisburg, PA. Her favorite part of her job is building a relationship with her patients and giving them a good dental experience. She enjoys being outdoors and gardening

Originally from Lancaster County, Melanie received her training at Willow Street Vocational Technical School in 1990. After graduation, Melanie joined the Air Force and received further training at Sheppard Air Force Base in Texas. Melanie spent the first four years of her profession at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia. Since then she has worked for several offices in Georgia and Illinois. Melanie returned to Pennsylvania in 2004 and started working with Dr Zimmerman in 2005. She enjoys building patient relationships and knowing she doing something rewarding for them and herself.

Jes has been a dental assistant for 13 years and has been with Covenant since 2012. She attended Harrisburg Area Community College for her Certified Dental Assisting certification. Jes is kept busy at work and more so at home spending her non-working time with her 2 wild children.
