Dr. George Waites, DMD, was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama. He has been married to his sweet wife, Trina, since 2004. Together they have two boys Will and Wesley. In his spare time, Dr. Waites enjoys coaching his boys sports, grilling, and cheering on Alabama football.
Dr. Waites graduated from Huntsville High School in 1997. He then went on to receive his B.S. in Sports Medicine from Samford University in 2001, where he also had a minor in Biology. From there, he received his dental training at UAB dental school, where he graduated as a full-certified and qualified dentist in 2005.
Cove Dental Center, P.C. was established in May of 2007. The business grew over the next several years until a larger office was required. A brand-new facility in Jones Valley was built as our home for the practice with convenience and a high standard of care in mind. On October 1, 2013, we began seeing patients in our new and improved location.

Best dentist in Huntsville in my opinion. Full disclosure, the only dentist I've been to in Huntsville, but he and his staff really are great!

I highly recommend Cove Dental Center!!! Dr. Waites and his staff are the best!!! He has been my dentist for 13 years and goes above and beyond to make sure my teeth are in excellent condition. And this is a tall task because I have had leukemia and the side effects of chemo wreaked havoc on my teeth. He and his office staff are professional, dependable, compassionate and always there to help. I am so grateful to have them in my life and to now call them my friends. Cindy Carroll

Staff members are INCREDIBLY sweet and completely genuine. Rare to find these days. The Dentist was one of the best I've seen, if not the best! Not a fan of going to the Dentist, but the staff members make you so comfortable and they work with you. Would recommend this place to anyone A MILLION TIMES..OVER AND OVER. Nowadays, you rarely find such polite and meaningful staff members who truly care about you. As well as an INCREDIBLE DENTIST!!!! Thank you for such a humbling and much needed appointment/experience. I recently made the switch to Dr. Waites and Cove Dental Center. I have had my teeth cleaned by them a few weeks ago, and a cavity filled today. I will NEVER go anywhere else. They are the most professional group I've ever dealt with. Dr. Waites is truly a stand up guy, great in his practice, and a very kind person. All of his dental assistants and administrative assistants have been amazing as well. 5 out of 5 stars, only because I can't give them 10! You won't regret making CDC your new dentist!

Called Cove Dental today on short notice. I Had a Dental Emergency. They got me in Super fast. Phone conversation was 100% professional. It is a very clean office with a delightful atmosphere. The young ladies, Rachael, Alyssa and Morgan welcomed me with a warm welcome. The dentist took his time explaining all he was going to do. He made sure that I was informed and understood my treatment plan. I'll sure to go back and bring my family over to his office. Thank you for helping me Keep and maintain my wonderful Smile. Dr. Waites is rude and way to expensive. He thinks he is worth more than he is and he treats his nice employees badly. I wouldn't use him if was he was the only dentist on the planet! Boy does he have some people fooled!

I am new to the area and was in need of a dentist. I called Cove Dental and Alyssa was so pleasant on the phone. They were able to get me in the next week. Molly my hygienist was so sweet and gentle. I have never had a better cleaning. Dr. Waites came in to check me immediately. He was very thorough and caring. Rachel checked me out with a smile. I could not be more impressed with this dental office!

My daughter broke her tooth over the weekend. Our dentist wasn't answering the phone and every dentist we called wasn't accepting emergency patients. We found Cove Dental and were able to make an appointment within 1 hour of talking to his receptionist, we were in and out within an hour with a fixed tooth. You can tell when a dentist really cares about his patients. 5 stars all the way! Wonderful experience, my 4 year old didn't even cry (which is HUGE because she typically cries when visiting the dentist).

Had 3 appointments together (1adult, 2 kids) and no wait time! My 7 year old got in the car and said "they were so kind!" Excellent experience! Highly recommend!
