Dr. Stacey and his brother Dr. Steve attended dental school together. After graduating they decided to return to the Sacramento area where they lived as young children to take advantage of the proximity to the mountains, lakes, and rivers.
Dr. Stacey believes that successful dental care happens when you educate the patient and involve them in decisions. By using the latest technology, such as digital x-rays and intra-oral photos, he can help the patient to visualize their treatment options. He strongly believes in staying current with dental advancements. To do this, he attends many dental education seminars each year. Dr. Stacey has trained with some top dental educators, such as Spear Education at the Scottsdale Dental Center. He and his brother Dr. Steve were among the first dentists in the area to become CEREC certified and offer porcelain crowns and onlays, made at their office, in just one visit.
Dr. Stacey lives with his wife Sheila in Lincoln, CA along with their 5 children (4 girls and 1 boy). He loves being a dad and stays involved in all his kids sports and activities. He is also an avid water skier, both with and without skis, and enjoys spending time with his extended family at the lake.

Dr. Steve has a strong commitment to quality dental care and patient comfort. This is evident in his effort to tailor each procedure and treatment to the wants and needs of his patients. In order to stay on the cutting edge of technological and dental advancements, Dr. Steve attends a variety of continuing education courses. He and his brother Dr. Stacey were among the first dentists in the area to become CEREC certified and offer porcelain crowns and onlays, made at their office, in just one visit. Today, he continues to learn from some of the top educators, such as Spear Education at the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry.
Dr. Steve lives in Auburn with his wife and one cat. They have a daughter (Lisa) and son (Kevin) who both are living in Oregon after finishing college. He loves spending time with his family and enjoys being outdoors; playing golf, skiing, hiking, backpacking, fishing, and off-roading in his Jeep. Dr. Steve is also an accomplished cook.
Dusty began her career as a dental assistant over 12 years ago and joined our team in 2014. She is highly organized and efficient and her skills are put to good use as our Lead Assistant. Her dental knowledge and assisting skills help our dentists to provide our patients with exceptional care. She is gentle and caring and her outgoing personality put our patients at ease. She enjoys helping patients improve their dental health or get the beautiful smile they have dreamed about. Dusty says she likes working at Courtyard Dental Care because everyone works together as a team.
Darlene has been in the dental field for more than 30 years and with our team for over 22 years. Darlene has many talents but the one that really shines through is her ability to connect with people, make them laugh and put them at ease. She enjoys working one-on-one with our patients to help them understand their treatment, insurance benefits and finding financial options to insure they get the care they deserve. Darlene says she loves being part of the Courtyard Dental Care family and the best part are all the wonderful patients.
Janese has been in the dental field for over 13 years. She is the warm and friendly smile that greets you as you come into the office. Janese says she likes working in dentistry because of the interaction with patients and finds it very rewarding playing a role in their dental care. We are very lucky to have someone with her knowledge and compassion.

Susan started her dental career over 30 years ago as a Registered Dental Assistant. She joined our team over 12 years ago as our insurance and accounts receivable expert. Her knowledge and experience with insurance benefits and billing insure our patients get the most from their dental benefits. Her extensive insurance knowledge combined with her clinical knowledge are a winner for our patients when they have questions about their dental treatment. She loves interacting with patients, helping them achieve their goals and seeing the positive impact dental treatment has on their life. Susan says she loves how the dentists at Courtyard Dental Care put quality patient care first.
