Dr. Joseph Khalil graduated with honors and multiple awards from Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in 2000. He was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon, an elite national dental honor society. In 2003, he went on to complete his prosthodontic specialty residency in Iowa City at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry.
As a skilled prosthodontist, Dr. Khalil is an expert in restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry. With extensive experience and training in modern state of the art techniques, Dr. Khalil can transform even the most challenging cosmetic and restorative problems into beautiful smiles.
Dr. Khalil is a member of the American College of Prosthodontics and actively participates in continuing education seminars and professional organizations. This gives him the opportunity to discuss the newest ideas and treatments with other colleagues, which ultimately benefits his patients. He has also lectured in the last three years on various topics, including aesthetic dentistry, treatment planning of complex restorative cases, and dental photography.
Dr. Patrick Haddad was born and raised in the Washington DC area. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Virginia Commonwealth University. Where he went on to graduate from University of North Carolina School of Dentistry, in 2019. He completed his advanced education in General Dentistry at the University of Texas. Dr. Haddad is currently pursuing a fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Haddad has also had the pleasure of preforming needed dental care to under served communities in the Dominican Republic as part of his mission work. Dentistry took Dr. Haddad to North Carolina in a private practice setting. There he spent time honing his skills in oral surgery while providing IV sedation for simple restorative and surgical procedures. We are positive his growing experience will enhance the dental care provided here at Courthouse Art of Dentistry.
Karen is originally from El Salvador, La Union, and has been in the United States since she was one. She has been a resident of the Northern Virginia area since she moved to this country. Karen was studying to become a registered nurse but realized that it was not for her. She decided to pursue another avenue in the healthcare field and became a dental assistant in 2011. As she learned the industry from a clinical standpoint, she began to learn about the administrative duties as well. She ultimately decided to become a business administrator and patient care coordinator. In Karens free time she loves to travel, cook, and spend time with her family.

I had been going to Courthouse Art of Dentistry for about 18 months and was relatively satisfied with their service other than their above average rates and fees. My employer recently changed their health/dental insurance so I reached out to the Courthouse Art of Dentistry's Office to confirm that they would accept my new insurance and was assured that all Cigna policies are accepted and not to worry. Upon check-in for my regularly scheduled cleaning, I provided the receptionist with my new Dental Card and reiterated that I had recently changed insurances and had previously called to confirm my coverage, but just wanted to double check. The receptionist acknowledged my concern and reassured me that they accepted all Cigna plans. After my cleaning, I was told that my insurance would not cover any of the service charges and that I was responsible for paying $265.00 out of pocket for the standard preventative treatment that should have been provided at no additional cost. I requested for Courthouse Art of Dentistry's insurance liaison to assist me with submitting a claim to my insurance company to help cover some, if not all, of the charges and was told it was not their problem and to reach out Cigna directly. This has been a highly disappointing and frustration experience. I would highly recommend for anyone to obtain written confirmation from the Courthouse Art of Dentistry prior to receiving any treatment at this location.

I've been coming to this office for many years. More recently, I've had a great experience working with Dr. Patrick Haddad. All of the staff at this location is wonderful to work with. During my last cleaning Dr. Haddad suggested I consider getting my last wisdom tooth removed soon. Sure enough, it wasn't a month later that I started getting a bit of ache back there. I called in and was seen that same day. They took x-rays and said it would be simple enough job that they wouldn't need to send me to an oral surgeon, so I agreed to have it pulled right then. I think this was the most painless procedure I've ever had! I will definitely be sticking with this practice

Dr Haddad is incredibly knowledgeable and kind, talked me through every little step of the process to make sure I knew exactly what was happening and was comfortable. The staff were all wonderful as well- I've found my new dental home!! Highly, HIGHLY recommend!

I really enjoy Courthouses Art of Dentistry. I been coming about 1 year and everyone in the facilities are really nice and informative some of them speak Spanish as well which make more easy to me ask hard question. Today at my visit Elizabeth my dental hygienist was amazing. She was so kind, gentle and professional. I fully recommend this place.

I've been coming here for years and have always been happy with my experience. The wait time was almost non-existent and my hygienist, Elizabeth was amazing. She was friendly, communicated each step of my cleaning , and ensured that I was comfortable the entire time. Dr. Haddad was also kind and professional, and communicated clearly any concerns he had as well as potential next steps. I'm generally not a fan of going to the dentist but I almost can't wait for my next appointment!

I have nothing but good things to say about this dental office. Going to the dentist has always been one of my least favorite things, but the entire team at Courthouse does a great job of making you feel comfortable and relaxed. I know that I am in good hands here. Dr. Haddad and the rest of the team are amazing!

This is the best dental office. All of the staff are so friendly, and I feel very comfortable going there. Dr. Haddad is the nicest person, and I know he has his patients' best interests in mind. I had some fillings done, and he proactively asked if I needed to go back to work, and then chose a shorter-acting anesthetic accordingly. Highly recommend!

I never thought that I'd enjoy going to the dentist! Every single person that works here is extraordinarily kind. They don't push treatments on you if you don't want them unlike other practices I have been to. Dr. Haddid is wonderful and explains everything as he goes plus he is timely. I recommend this practice to everyone in the area!
