Our office has its proud roots somewhere in the 1930's - Dr. Graham was practicing at the old location on Front street. Around 1978, Dr. Tom Van Vooren (a Southern Illinois SDM top of his class graduate) built the existing location and served the Henry County and beyond patients for nearly 35 years. He was very much loved and appreciated by the community. In 2013, Dr. Rima Mounsef and Dr. Bogdan Taran took over and ushered in an era of modernizing and updating equipment and clinical procedures, where today we can offer patients the best dental care available anywhere.
Dr. Rima graduated in 2013 from Southern Illinois School of Dental Medicine. She practiced previously as a hygienist having graduated from Harper College Dental Hygiene program in 2006. She is great with kids and you will love her upbeat attitude and personal charm.
Dr. Taran graduated in 2009 from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in Chicago. He has considerable expertise and has taken numerous continuing education classes in the field of Dental Implants, Endodontic Treatments (root canals) and clear braces (Invisalign)

They have a excellent setting in there office..The staff are very polite and professional!!The doctor is very clear so you understand..I have no complaints ,other then ,I'm a nervous person when it comes to dental work..Most of all I did feel very comfortable at countrywide smiles, and I would highly recommend them!!

I had to have a tooth pulled and they went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. I have a major fear of dentist and they were understanding it was a great experience and I will go back for my future dental needs.

Today had my teeth cleaned by Thresea!! She was amazing!! Very kind and gentle!! Also Dr. Taran was amazing as well!! Always great here at Countrywide Smiles!!

Had an amazing experience here. I am new patient who has high anxiety to dentists and they were able to help me out with that. Also I was able to get my procedures done right away. I will definately continue my dental work here. Highly recommend.

I never used to like going to the dentist but Dr. Rima changed my experience. She was so patient and explained everything to me. She gave me options that fit my budget. I will never forget the day she got me out of pain.

Dr. Rima is amazing! I reached out through Facebook for an emergency and she right away gave me advice over the phone and she even came in to the clinic to see me the day. Great work on my crown! See you soon for my cleaning:) Thanks Doc!

Super friendly staff. I started there because of the reputation of Dr. Taran. Had been a patient of his before plus they worked with my insurance co. To get me a co-pay which made it much cheaper out of my pocket. I will never go to any other dentist.

After many bad experiences with my teeth, I would readily recommend Countrywide Smiles to any of my relatives and friends. They are good and caring. Efficient and well experienced with patients.

I had an infected tooth, and the tooth has a root canal that had failed. I went to three other dentists that just gave me the run around. I needed to have surgery and my surgeon wouldn't operate until I took care of the infected tooth. Finally I heard about country wide smiles, in Annawan IL, Dr.Taran got me in the next Monday and pulled my tooth and gave me a prescription for a medicated month rinse. Now I my mouth is healed and I had my surgery. I thank Dr Taran for helping me too feel better. I'm a much healthier person now.

My experience with this place was great! I was having some tooth pain and they got me right in. Didn't have to wait 2 weeks or a month like most places. Very friendly and polite. Made sure i was comfortable and calm. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing a great dentist!! Definitely have found my office i will be going to!!
