I began my career in dentistry at age eleven (working for my dad)! Upon graduating from the University of Detroit Dental School, I practiced as a dental hygienist for 22 years. I joined Countryside Oaks Dental in 2015, serving as our hygiene coordinator. What a privilege to know our patients and help them stay on track to achieve and maintain excellent dental health!
I love being a part of creating beautiful new smiles for people who have not enjoyed smiling for a while. It is personally rewarding to bring back their confidence and be able to show and be proud of their smile again. Working with this team has been great. Everyone loves working here together. I have always enjoyed being able to say with a smile, I LOVE MY JOB. I have grown my dental knowledge in this office from the ground up. I am always looking forward to learning new and exciting procedures to be able to help our patients.
I am a self-proclaimed Harry Potter nerd! On the weekends, you can catch me out by a pool, lazy on the beach, or at a theme park! My large immediate and some extended family all live in the area and most of my spare time is spent with them. But, if we are asking about true happiness, that comes in the form of my mini dachshund named Cooper!
I earned my degree in science in dental hygiene from the University of South Dakota in 2003 and joined Countryside Oaks Dental in 2017. My role as a hygienist involves providing preventive cleanings and exams, treatment planning with the doctor, and offering education related to at-home oral healthcare. Ive loved getting to know our family of patients and building relationships with them that I hope last a long time!
I have been happily married for almost 17 years to my high school sweetheart. We have a fur baby, our Chihuahua, who is 11. We are newer to Florida and recently bought a house. We love the activities here, especially going to the beach!
I love meeting new patients and building relationships with current patients while providing preventive hygiene care and education. I earned my dental hygiene degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1988. I started working at Countryside Oaks Dental in 1990 was so excited to return to the office in 2013. Everyone here has a common goal of helping our patients achieve optimal oral health. Its so much fun to work with people who are like family every day!
I am married to an amazing man and together we have two awesome boys. Our boys love to play baseball and most of our time is spent watching them play. We also have an Australian labradoodle that loves everyone!
I began my dental assisting career in 1973, when my father gave me my initial training working for him at his dental office while I was in high school. Its been a wonderful careerone that I truly love. I enjoy helping patients improve and maintain their dental health, and making sure they receive the best and most comfortable care. Dr. Castellanos and our team are compassionate and highly skilled, and we all truly care about our patients and each other. It is a pleasure to be a part of this team.
I have been married to my high school sweetheart Randy for more than 40 years. We have three grown sons and their wives, seven wonderful grandsons, and one beautiful granddaughter. I enjoy spending time with my family, my two dogs, and our beautiful sunsets at the beach.

Dr. Castellanos completed three residency programs after dental school, including a general practice residency (GPR) training certificate. In his GPR residency, he was trained to treat medically compromised patients and understand patients medications in relation to their oral health. He also completed an implant certificate training program, as well as a three-year training program in prosthodontics to become a prosthodontist. With this level of experience, we are able to offer an array of general dentistry services, as well as prosthodontics, aesthetic dentistry, and implants.

What an amazing group! I was so surprised at how nice they were. Dr. Mauricio Castellanos was great at explaining all my options to me. He is very knowledgeable! They made me feel comfortable and were gentle with me while looking into my mouth. I will be recommending Countryside Oaks Dental to everyone.

Let me just tell anybody who is reading this review stop scrolling and come to this office. Top-notch customer service. The kind lady at the front desk always greets me when I come in. Marsha and Rachel are by far the best hygienists I have ever seen. I can't forget to mention Dr. Castellanos's three assistants. Very efficient and gentle. I have been to this practice for 5+yrs and all three of his assistants are equally amazing. Will NEVER go to another practice ever again.

I love this place! Dr. Mauricio is a very caring and professional doctor. The staff is very kind and attentive as well. I can tell how they treat each other as a family. Also the doctor speaks both English and Spanish which is great for the latin community that doesn't speak English.

Dr. Castellanos is a very well known Prosthodontist in the Clearwater/Tampa Fl area. My whole family trusts him very much! He has made incredible changes and we are all very happy! Staff is also amazing! Highly recommend!

Finally a dentist office I can trust in and feel comfortable with my oral care. Very professional and courteous staff. Dr C is amazing he explains everything to you and you won't be disappointed in the results. Frankie is an artist that can make anything into beautiful teeth! I can say after being dissatisfied with other Dental offices and thinking I would never smile again, Dr. C and his staff did the impossible, I now have a big beautiful smile thanks to them.

This was my first visit there. Dr Mauricio Castellanos was very highly recommended by my Maxilofacial surgeon and I was very impressed by his knowledge, the detailed examination and the whole office staff. I would strongly recommend Countryside Oaks Dental office!!!
