Dr. Rod Strober is a cosmetic dentist with 26 years experience delivering high quality patient-centered care. He has built practices in Boston and San Diego, and now he hopes to bring his successful approach to Rancho Mirage.
Cosmetic dentist Dr. Strober graduated from Skidmore College in 1989 with a strong science and liberal arts background and continued on to The State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. There he was able to combine his love of art and science into a career as a general and cosmetic dentist. After graduating in 1993, he moved to Boston, MA, where he successfully practiced for 14 years. Growing tired of all the cold, snowy winters, Dr. Strober jumped at the opportunity to move to sunny San Diego where he was able to start practicing on his own.
In San Diego, Dr. Strober started with a small practice that ultimately became highly successful with a strong following of loyal patients. With dedication and hard work, he assembled a great dental team to build a patient-centered practice that offered outstanding customer service and utilized the latest technologies and techniques in dentistry.
With a commitment to providing the very best for his patients, Dr. Strober is heavily involved with local and regional associations including the CDA, ADA, AGD, AACD and AADSM. Since advancements in dental technology and procedures occur so frequently, he is constantly attending seminars, and joining peer groups in order to stay abreast of all the latest materials and techniques. He was even honored with a Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry.
But it turned out that he wasnt ready to retire. He loved dentistry and he missed serving his patients and his community, so he acquired Country Club Dentistry, where he plans to utilize the same dedication to quality care and outstanding dentistry to build his new practice.
He looks forward to the joy of meeting all his new patients and hopes to give them the same transformative experience he delivered at his previous practice. He will offer general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry.
He is also focusing extensively on the placement of dental implants. He recently completed coursework for his Mastership from the International Dental Implant Association (FIDIA). This required him to complete 250 hours of continuing education in dental implants and place over 40 dental implants to obtain his certification.
Amanda is originally from California but spent most of her childhood growing up In the Midwest, in southern Missouri. Her husband is an active duty military member and serves in the United States Marine Corps. Due to their military life, she has worked at dental practices all across the country. She considers the opportunity to work with doctors of all types and specialties within the dental field as a great advantage and only adds to her experience as a RDA. She has a heart for her patients, it is her joy to make them comfortable and happy while in our office. She received her RDA for the state of California at California Dental Certification in San Diego.
Stacey has been practicing Dental Hygiene for over 10 years. Born and raised in Arizona, she graduated with a bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene from Northern Arizona University. Directly out of Hygiene school, Stacey moved to New York City and worked on the Upper East Side for eight years. However, after enduring that 8th bitter winter in NYC she hurriedly returned to the warmer southern West Coast. Stacey has enjoyed living in the Coachella Valley for the past 3 years and is extremely excited to be a part of the Country Club Dentistry Team and is looking forward to getting acquainted with her patients.

Dr Strober and his staff were excellent! I broke my front tooth off at the root and he was able to fix it the same day in about an hour or less. His office is the nicest dental office I have seen. This man is amazing. He not only does general dentistry he also does his own root canals, implants and tooth extractions. I am so lucky to have found him.

I highly recommend Dr. Strober. He handled my long term dental issue with such a care, expertise and excellence. The staff is friendly and extremely professional. They make sure you feel welcome and comfortable. One of the cleanest and nicest looking dental facilities I have ever seen.

I had a great experience with Dr Strober, very friendly, nice guy and great bedside manner. He was able to fix a gap in my teeth -he did it quickly with a steady hand. The best dental experiences I've ever gone through. Absolutely work with this gentleman, he's a master! Thank you so much

Dr. Strober and his Amazing staff are class acts. My smile is everything to me ...I accidentally chipped my front tooth & I was devastated. I was amazed at the technology that Country Club Dental uses, I was done in an hour. It blew my mind...my smile is PERFECTION. I'm grateful.

If there were 6 STARS.... I would give it to Dr. Strober and his amazing staff. He is the BEST dentist here in the Valley.. My story is simple, I had a terrible toothache and called Country Club Dental, they were closed and I left a message. Dr. Strober "called me back", and told me he would fit me in on Tuesday and did I need an antibiotic.. I told him I had called my primary doctor who prescribed it to me because of the abscess. Before that I decided to check another dentist out in Palm Desert.. On Friday I went to see Dr. Tellissi, he took picture looked at my teeth and told me I need $21,000 worth of dental work, (which he knocked down to $15,000) oh thanks..... and wanted a $5,000 deposit right then.. I told him I needed to talk with my husband, ( I was actually in shock) and left..I went to Dr. Strober today, and guess what... IT'S A ROOT CANAL and recommended an Endodontics dentist Dr. David Li @ Synergy Endodontics (another amazing honest dentist for $1,200..OMG. Both dentist could not believe that I was giving that $15,000 diagnosis.... Live and learn.. Anyway I recommend Dr. Strober and Dr. David Li to anyone who wants an informed, HONEST, caring dentist...

Dr. Strober and his staff were the best ever. The office is amazingly beautiful! My dental treatment was virtually painless. And Dr. Strober called that evening to make sure I was comfortable and not in pain. The absolute best dental experience. I would highly recommend Dr. Strober for all my dental care needs!

I have lived in the desert for 10 years and never established a regular dentist. I would drive 5 hours to Central Ca to see my other doctor because he and his staff were the best until........I came upon Country Club Dentistry. I had a tooth crack and needed to have it filled so during a search I found Dr. Strober's office in Rancho Mirage. Upon my arrival a few days later I was greeted by Amanda who later I learned would be Dr. Strober's dental assistant. I filled out the new patient forms and then was lead into the exam room where Amanda did the initial x-rays, ect.. Dr. Strober arrived to go over the plan to fix the tooth. He was calm, professional and made me feel comfortable. The surgery to fix the tooth was great, I was not in any pain. Dr. Strober is a perfectionist and loves his profession which is what I like because I would be considered picky. I have since returned for a cleaning with Anne who again was so sweet and made me feel at home. I am relieved I found Dr. Stober's office, the experience and office atmosphere is exactly what I hoped for. I manage a business here in the desert and that is the most important thing for me to bring to my clients and its great to received that back.

Dr. Rod Strober is a super talented dentist !!! He did perfect bonding and reshaping of my teeth. Even in the bright desert light, they look completely natural. His equipment is state-of-the-art. The xray machine takes photos of your entire mouth externally in two minutes without any trays and uncomfortable trays and hard film. Then he wears special glasses with microscope lenses to see fine details. The office looks like a five star hotel, beautiful art and plush sofas in the waiting area. The kind and friendly staff made my whole experience really enjoyable.

Dr Ron Strober IS THE BEST hands downs. One visit change my life forever! Had a gingivectomy this morning and omg what a difference already...a major difference. Before I came here I wouldn't smile or show my teeth and after only a few hours I can't looking at them. I am blown away...yay...he that's good! Dr Strober is an artist and an angel when it comes to achieving the best smile. This is only the beginning to a more beautiful confident self.
