While Coulee Region Implant and Oral Surgery Center may have a new name and face, it is still full of friendly staff who are dedicated to quality dental and oral health care. The practice was started in 1973 by Dr. OJ Anderson. Dr. Tim Durtche joined the practice in 1979. Dr. Les Timm joined Dr. Durtsche in 2015 and is now carrying on their legacy with Dr. Chuck Polzin. Drs Anderson and Durtsche were instrumental in bringing dental implants to Lacrosse and now we pride ourselves with continuing to provide care for the residents of the tri-state region. The team at Coulee Region understand that dental procedures can be scary or stressful and IV sedation can be a great solution for a successful experience. Dr. Timm and Polzin are Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. This means they both have elected to go on for an additional fours years of training after dental school. They both trained at the nationally recognized Gundersen Health System. While there they both spent five months of dedicated anesthesia training. They then spent the remaining two and half years providing various levels of IV sedation and anesthesia in a controlled manner supervised by Gundersen Surgeons.

Marcy is local to the Coulee Region and has worn many hats at CRIOS. She joined Dr. Durtsche after a rewarding position with Mayo Health System. Marcy is currently the office administrator for CRIOS handling everything from the financial side of the business to human Resources and compliance. When not at work Marcy enjoys traveling with friends and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Kailee is local to the Coulee Region and brings much experience to the team. She is currently our lead Insurance member. Kailee is very warm and welcoming. She is a wealth of knowledge and works hard to help our patients navigate the financial part of their care. Outside of work, Kailee enjoys spending time with her daughters and watching her husband race.

Mandy was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She graduated in 2005 from Hermitage High. In 2013 she met a wonderful man and moved to Lacrosse, Wisconsin. Mandy attended Western Technical College and received her diploma in Dental Assisting in 2016. In 2017 she was welcomed to the CRIOS team and is now an implant coordinator. Her favorite parts about working in our office is being able to help implant patients and be part of a friendly and compassionate team. When shes not at the office she enjoys hunting, fishing, traveling and spending time with husband and dog, Bubba.

Stacy began working with Drs Anderson and Durtsche in 1994. She has been the Implant Coordinator for 25+ years and is proficient with multiple implant systems. She is very familiar with the restorative as well as the surgical components. Not only is she the lead Implant Coordinator Stacy has functioned as surgical assistant for 28+ years. She enjoys helping patients have a pleasant and enjoyable experience at CRIOS. Stacy lives in Winona, Minnesota and has two children. When not at work Stacy enjoys time with family and rooting for the Vikings.

Beth joined Coulee Region Implant and Oral Surgery Center in 2015. She is a Dental Assistant and also wears the hat of Continuing Education Coordinator for CRIOS. What Beth really enjoys about working at CRIOS, is how it allows her to pursue her passion for helping friends, family and the community in the Coulee Region. Beth has a positive and comfortable dental experience. It is a pleasure to be able to work with such a knowledgeable team that is committed to giving the best care possible.

Jennelle was born and raised in La Crosse. Her hobbies include boating, camping, going to concerts, and spending time with her family. With two little ones at home, Jennelle and her husband stay busy. Jennelle joined our team as a Surgical Assistant in 2020. Her favorite part about being an assistant is being able to meet a variety of people and getting to know them personally.

Paul originally joined our team in May of 2018 after working in pediatric dentistry. During his time off, he enjoys traveling around the United States. You can find him driving the east coast, or flying to any number of cities across the map. A little factoid about Paul is that he is an accomplished church organist.

Diane has many years of customer service experience and is always willing to help a patient with their questions and scheduling needs. She greets every patient with a smile and is the first person you will meet when you check in. Some of Dianes hobbies include photography, bowling, and going for road trips around the beautiful surrounding area. Diane is an asset to our team.

Brittany was born and raised in the Coulee Region and knew from a young age that Dental would always be her career path. After high school she completed her Dental Assisting courses in Madison, WI to earn her certificate in 2012. Brittany has experience in General Dentistry, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery and Implants. Together with her knowledge and passion for making people feel confident and happy is what makes for a great Treatment Coordinator. On her time away from work she enjoys being with her two boys, being outside as much as possible, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Kimberly is from Caledonia, MN where she has lived all her life. She graduated from the Dental Assistant program at Western Wisconsin Technical College in 2001 and has 20 years of experience in general dentistry. She finds her Oral Surgery experience very rewarding as she cares for friends, family and the surrounding communities. She is a volunteer EMT for the Caledonia Ambulance Service. Kimberly enjoys canning, gardening, spending time with family, friends, and her four nephews and her dog.

Miya is originally from West Bend, Wisconsin. She moved to the La crosse area 5 years ago and absolutely fell in love with the town. Miya recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse with a biology degree and plans on attending Viterbo University in the fall of 2022 to achieve her masters degree in nursing. In her free time, Miya enjoys hiking the bluffs and going for long walks with her dog.

Sierra is a local from the Kickapoo River region. Sierra has been in the dental field for a little over three years, starting in general dentistry, then moving to oral surgery. Caring for the people in her community is one of her favorite things to do along with reading, spending time outdoors, and playing with her two cats.

Chanda was born and raised in La Crosse. She has worked in the dental field for twenty years. The majority of her career has been working in Oral Surgery. She also worked in general dentistry so knows a lot about restorative work. Working at CRIOS is very rewarding to her and takes great pleasure in helping people. Its very important that patients are comfortable and have a positive experience at our office. Chanda is married, has two daughters, and a black miniature schnauzer. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, snowmobiling, biking, taking her kids to the park, and watching her oldest daughter play hockey.

Jessi recently joined our CRIOS team 2022. She has worked in oral surgery for over 20 years. She loves being able to help make a difference in peoples lives and help build their self confidence. Her hometown is Stoddard and allows her to spend time on the river and fish with her family.
