Dr. Todd Groesbeck hails from the exotic land of Provo, UT. He went to BYU and graduated in mechanical engineering, had his mid-life crisis early and redirected his course to dentistry. He went to dental school at OHSU in Portland, OR where he thrived. In 2012, he graduated with his DMD as one of the very top in his class, with honors and awards in implant dentistry. He chose general dentistry so he could do a variety of procedures.
Dr. Corbin Matthews grew up in Provo, Utah. He attended Timpview High School and Brigham Young University. In 1999, he received his dental degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. He graduated at the top of his class and received awards of excellence in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He also was the recipient of the OKU award, given to select students for excellence in academics. Dr. Matthews has been practicing in the Utah County area for over 13 years and has continued his training to include all aspects of dentistry, including wisdom teeth removal, implant surgery, oral conscious sedation and laser surgery.
Dr. Matthews comes from a family of dentists including: his father, Gary Matthews; his older brother, Blake Matthews; and his younger brother, Jeremy Matthews. Dr. Matthews is married to Lizzi Matthews and they have five children: Shay, Gracy, River, Linkin, and Rockwell. We at Cougar Dental are excited to have Dr. Corbin Matthews join us at our practice, and he looks forward to caring for you and your family!

Never going back again to Cougar Dental. I went in for a filling and got cut with the Doctor's instrument underneath my tongue which left me without being able to open my mouth to eat and drinking liquids for a whole week. I told them and all they wanted to do was offer me an Amazon gift card. Sad to think how they thought that they could just make me happy by covering the Doctor's accident with money. The worst part that the Doctor didn't even tell me in the moment that he cut me. It was after my filling that I asked him what was the hole underneath my tongue. Very disappointed but I am glad I found a much better dentist.

Love this location and the staff. They have an awesome incentive program for maintaining healthy teeth and are always so friendly/flexible. The hygienists and dentist are always willing to explain your mouth health. Felt very well taken care of here and came for a couple of years before moving.

Dr Matthews is the best dentist! He always spends so much time with me answering all my questions in detail. He got me in last minute today to deal with a tooth problem and is always so great. His staff is awesome and it always feels like I'm getting to visit friends when I go there. I love the overall feel of their office and know I'm always in the best hands when I'm there! Highly recommend Dr Matthews!

This is a great place to come for dental work. My daughter had quite a bit of work to do and they treated her with the up most kindness and care. I would recommend this office to everyone!

I love the staff at Cougar Dental. They are so kind and treat everyone with care and genuine concern for their best individual dental needs. They make going to the dentist a good experience. Cougar Dental is amazing. Dr. Matthews and Dr. Stapley are great with all my kids. My husband said he never feels the shots, they are that good!! I tell all of my friends and family to go there!!

I felt so comfortable, each person was kind and interested in helping me and getting to know me. I had a smooth procedure. These guys are GOOD at what they do! I highly recommend cougar dental!

My family has been going to Dr. Matthews since 2006. He is a GREAT dentist and very friendly. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone I like. :) My best experience with Dr. Matthews was when he removed my wisdom teeth. He did such a good job that I was able to go to class at BYU right after. While my amount of swelling might not be typical, it sure made it an easy experience. Another time, Dr. Matthews helped my 5 year old when he fell and almost knocked his front tooth out. Dr. Matthews was able to take care of the problem, and get the tooth straightened back out. In my mind he was able to save my son's tooth. It could have been really sad if he had lost it. Needless to say, I would highly recommend Dr. Corbin Matthews.
