Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

This Dentistry is Stellar! I've been to quite a few sub par and par dentistries, but Cottonwood Smiles ALWAYS blows me out of the water with their professionalism, knowledge, and service. Dr. King and her staff are amazing. I've had multiple treatments ranging from wisdom tooth removal to night guards. It has been amazing every time. The front desk staff are super accommodating and kind, my cleanings are informative and enjoyable, and Dr. King is always willing to explain to me treatment options transparently. I love them all and never want to change my dentist....ever!

Cottonwood Smiles will try to rip you off. They had my husband sign a contract for 2 crowns, cavity fill and a deep cleaning for his gums. We paid all monies in the contract. It was $1,000 down and $257.04 a month for 4 months. We paid the contract in full. When my husband went in for the deep cleaning on the other half of his mouth they insisted he make another contract for $300 which he refused. During the 4 months he was told he needed a root canal $1200, which we paid. He had an emergency visit which was around $180, which we paid. Also our insurance company paid them $2000. Now they have sent us to collections for $300. They breached the contract by not deep cleaning the other half of his mouth and turned us over to collections for $300. I have all paperwork and now this case be in litigation for Breach of Contract. We are asking they pay the $300 to collection agency and return of our money for the deep cleaning on the other half of my husband's mouth. These Dentists are very money hungry and unethical.

Doesn't accept medicaid insurance. Not helpful when it comes to helping find alternative solutions. Unhelpful in almost every way financial wise. Decent dentist

I have had several appointments in about under a year now. First appointments were during COVID, so workflow was no so good, but I recently had a crown put in and the operation and team are running smoothly. It is obvious the whole team is working hard to improve their service and it shows! Dr. King and Dr. Kim are super caring with excellent bedside manner, attentive, amiable, competent, smart and professional. Not to leave out the rest of the amazing team, but I can't remember all the names. I am impressed with the team work and culture, not that it is perfect, but the effort and intention is obvious to those receiving care. I highly recommend the Smiles team!

Dr. King and her staff are amazing!!!! I've always hated going to dentist but, Dr. King makes me want to come get my teeth fixed. She also has that vibe where she got me wanting to work for her for free because her passion for her job was so contagious!! She is amazing honest individual with beautiful soul that is looking out for your best interest when it comes to your teeth and gum health!!! I would never achieve a beautiful smile and healthy gums if it was not for her!! I am sending my whole gang to her for their teeth work!!!! Want a beautiful smile with healthy gums she is your dentist!!!

Hands down one of the best experiences for me at a dentist! I had two wisdom teeth removed by Dr. King in less than twenty minutes. She made the procedure feel safe and relaxing with her peaceful persona and fantastic personality. I highly recommend booking your dental appointments at this dentistry. :)

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Marisol King for at least the past 6 years. She and her team are the best!!! She truly cares about her patients, giving them the time and attention they deserve. She explains in detail treatments, procedures, etc. We both did Invisalign with her and now proudly show our perfect Dr. King smiles! The facility is clean and everyone is careful to follow COVID-protection procedures. Her team is caring and always with good attitude and predisposition. Most importantly, they believe in gentle dentistry. If you are a wimp like us when it comes to going to the dentist because you get nervous, but still want a good dentist that can do the work needed to keep your oral health at its best, this is the team for you! They are the most gentle and compassionate dental group in town!! GENTLE is their game. We recommend.

I have been coming to Dr.King and her staff for almost 4 years. It's been the best decision in my medical history ever. No lie. Her operation might be the best dentistry in all of Albuquerque. When it came time to have my toddler see a dentist for the first time I didn't think about him going somewhere else for even one second. The best part about Cottonwood Smiles is that no matter what question you want/need answered (dental advice, insurance, future costs, changes in lifestyle) they can help get you an answer with ease.
