Dr. Hooper loves fostering lifelong relationships with his patients and takes pride in providing high-quality, comprehensive care. But he is not all seriousness; he enjoys making patients smile during a visit, so dont be surprised if he cracks a few jokes to make you laugh!
Outside of the office you can find Dr. Hooper spending time in the great outdoors with his wife and three children. He grew up on his family ranch where he became accustomed to being active because he often worked with cattle, built fences, hauled hay, restored antique cars, and even remodeled homes in his community. Now Dr. Hooper enjoys golfing, horseback riding, hiking, woodworking, and playing a variety of sports with his family.

Dr Hooper was a nice person, however, he did 2 crowns for me and I'm still in pain. When I called to schedule a follow up to have this addressed, I just learned he sold the practice after just 2 months here in Cottonwood, he's already gone and is moving to Prescott, so I'm out of luck! The Dr that bought the practice doesn't take over for a month, so Dr Hooper clearly doesn't care about his patients. I don't recommend Dr Hooper. Also, an issue with Cottonwood Smiles, is that over the last 2 months I called after hours and left messages on 3 occasions and not once did they return my call, even when one was submitted as urgent because I was in pain and I was told the message was going directly to the on call persons cell phone. Prior to Dr Hooper taking over this practice, Jana Long did the same thing, just left with no notice to patients and no dentist to take over.

On my first visit I found the staff were friendly and responsive. The office is very clean and appears the equipment is up-to-date. I saw Dr. Hooper. I plan on staying with this practice.

Everyone is welcoming and professional. I had a tooth extracted and Dr Hooper took the time to assure me and asked how I was doing. He made sure that I was not feeling any pain. He also explained what I would be hearing and feeling (pressure) during the extraction. Jessica and Katie were great. The office itself is beautiful and calming. I highly recommend Cottonwood Smiles. I like the email reminders about appointments. Very helpful.

This office is awesome from the front desk to the back office and especially the doctor himself made my dentist experience very nice the doctor is very gentle. I was in and out. I will definitely make this my dentist home.

We were traveling in our RV in the Sedona area when I had a toothache. Called their office and the got me in very quickly. They took x-rays and let me know I had an infection. They prescribed antibiotics and something for the pain. They also referred me to an endodontist. Very nice people and very accommodating. Would recommend them highly.
