At Cottonwood Dental, we have put together the greatest team you could possibly have. Our staff has over 150 years of combined experience! We love interacting with you, the patient, and often times, we find ourselves calling you our friends instead of patients.
Dr.Cody is carrying on the Boseman dental legacy. Cody grew up in Salt Lake City and attended East High School. He went to Utah State University for his undergraduate degree in Aviation Management. Before pursuing a career in dentistry, he owned/operated a boat dealership, worked as an airplane mechanic, and then became a pilot for a regional airline.
He received his dental degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, and then returned to Utah to complete a residency at the Salt Lake City VA hospital. There, Dr. Cody was able to gain advanced knowledge in the areas of implant surgery, sinus grafting, bone grafting and sedation dentistry. He then came to join his dad and uncle at Cottonwood Dental.
Although Dr. Cody has accomplished a lot professionally he is most proud of his accomplishment as a father to his son Jett. Dr. Cody is also a founding member of the non-profit organization theJett Powered Foundation, which benefits the families of kids with rare neurological disorders.
Dr. Brent Bailey is excited to be back in Salt Lake after being away for over 27 years! He and his wife Kim, along with two of their daughters, just moved back from the Charleston, SC area. During his time away he practiced dentistry in his office on the Isle of Palms, which was just yards away from the Atlantic Ocean. While living in SC, Dr. Bailey spent a lot of time fishing offshore in tournaments up and down the East Coast. Dr. Bailey also loves fly fishing on the South Fork of the Snake River and loves spending time with his wife and family and is looking forward to getting toknow the mountains of Utah once again!
Dr. Bailey graduated from the University of Utah and Creighton Dental School in 1998. While living in SC he was a member of the SCDA and is currently a member of the ADA. Dr. Bailey continues to stay current with all the latest dental procedures by attending yearly continuing education classes. He is also very active in the community and local charities. He takes great pride in offering family dental care using the most advanced treatments in Cosmetic and Surgical Dentistry. He is very excited to join Dr. Boseman and the Cottonwood Dental Team!!
Dr. Jerald Boseman has been practicing dentistry for over 33 years and is an expert in many fields. One of his favorite aspects of dentistry is placing and restoring implants, which he has been doing for over 20 years. He has donated his time to many great causes, including serving on the Utah radiation control board, CAPIR committee, Give Kids a Smile, and volunteering with geriatric patients at local rest homes.
He has spent the last 12 years involved with the Utah Dental Association. He has served in an array of different positions with the UDA, including President, Vice President, Treasurer, and delegate to the American Dental Association. He has recently started teaching at the new dental school at his Alma Mater, the University of Utah. He attended dental school in Chicago, Illinois, at Northwestern University.

Everyone at Cottonwood dental are so nice and welcoming. I've seen many dentists but Dr. Bailey is by far the best I've ever had. He's careful, compassionate and has a great sense of humor.

I was in an accident that really fkd my teeth up. After going to 5-6 dentist over the past few years to try and fix them I've finally found the one I needed. I'll never go anywhere else. ALL AROUND amazing customer and professional services. So many years of experience in the office too which has saved me soooo much money time and pain. I drive here from HERRIMAN I love them so much.

Everyone at this practice is super-friendly! As soon as I showed up Sydney and Shelli greeted me and made me feel so welcome (it was my first time visiting). Becca, my hygienist, made great conversation and was thorough with her cleaning. I liked that they had monitors up in the exam areas so patients can see their X-rays and photos. Dr. Bailey was able to use this to point out a filling of mine that needed to be replaced. My filling replacement was fast and painless. Dr. Bailey was thoughtful in his placement of the anesthetic, so I would have maximum feeling in my mouth when I left the office. I'm very happy I found this practice (I'm new to the area) and would recommend it to others!

I've been going to dentist my whole friggin life I've been around the block with a handful of practices. Some good, some not so much. Cody (the dude that does the work) has a stellar bedside manor and makes you feel like you're the only patient in the world. I had 2 implants done too to bottom. I was never uncomfortable or in pain, even while the drill was gettin' after it! The prices were extremely fair and reasonable. I'm super stoked to have found the last dentist I'll ever need.

My son is on the autism spectrum and it's often difficult to find health care providers he is comfortable with. Dr. Bailey at Cottonwood Dental is amazing with my son and provide exception service. Our dental experience has never been better. Thank you, Dr. Bailey! You rock!!!

Cottonwood Dental is amazing! If you hate going to the dentist, this office will change your mind. They are so friendly, caring and excellent at everything they do. We've been coming to them for about two decades (and drive about 45 minutes each way), and have no plans to go anywhere else.

Doctor Melissa is easily the best dentist (or doctor) I've ever had. I love everyone at their office. At my last appointment, I had to have a crown and tooth pull. Riley and Doctor Melissa made the process extremely easy for me with minimal pain, which I am extremely grateful for. They are on the cutting edge of technology, and I love that I can watch tv or listen to music while I'm there which helps to put me at ease. My husband and his parents have trusted Cottonwood Dental for decades and it's easy to see why! I'll never use another dentist again.

Came into the dental office today with my husband. He had an infected tooth and Dr. Boseman previously put him on antibiotics and did what he could to try and save his tooth. Well the tooth decided it wasn't going to cooperate. Dr. Cody and Dr.Jerald both came in on New Years Eve to take care of his tooth problem. It was really neat to see Father and son working together. They're amazing! So kind and willing to do what they can to make sure their patients are comfortable, and do what they can until they fix their problem. They had to pull the tooth and get out all the infection. Not an easy task. It was pain free for my husband and very quick because they are so good at what they do. We're so thankful for their kindness to spend their holiday helping our family! After it heals he will come back for an implant. They really care about their patients and treat them like family... We love Dr.Cody and Dr. Jerald Boseman and their staff. We wouldn't go anywhere else. Great experience! Love Dr. Cody and Dr. Jerald Boseman. You will not find a better dentist than these two. I had a horrible fear of going to the dentist.. but no more. I had my tooth pulled by Dr.Cody and it was totally pain free. I had no problems at all. You couldn't pay me to go to another dentist. They care, they listen, and they are the best They are a great place for kids too! Give them a call!

When I was looking for a dentist in my area and one who took my dental insurance one of the options that came up was Cottonwood Dental. So I looked up their website and dentists on their site. I clicked on Dr. Cody Bozeman and knew right away that he was the perfect dentist for me! I wanted to get new mini implants and a new denture! I did the research and they offered me all the details and went above and beyond with helping to get the maximum benefit from my insurance. The staff there is so top-notch! They are so service oriented. I can't recommend them enough. I'm so excited with my new smile! I get compliments all the time! So aware of your needs and having great solutions to everything that I needed from a dentist! And they are super cool! Highly, highly recommend them! Thank you Dr. Cody & the fabulous staff!!

I've been a patient at Cottonwood Dental for 20+ years and will never go anywhere else. The staff is like family and are all so very friendly. I was seen today for my semi-annual cleaning by a new (to me) Dental Assistant, Shanelle, and she is the reason I am writing this review. She was so happy, kind and most of all compassionate. She took the time to teach and educate me on what she was doing and what was going on in my mouth. I will now be asking to be for her specifically every time I go back. I would 100% recommend Cottonwood Dental.
