Dr. Cotton was raised in Wharton, Texasand graduated Valedictorian from Boling High School. He continuedhis education at Texas A&M University wherehe graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science in 2002.Following college,Dr. Cottonenrolled into dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and graduated first in his class with aD.D.S. degree.Staying in San Antonio,hereceivedhis Certificate in Endodontics from theGraduate Endodontic Program at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Because education is a high priority to Dr. Cotton, he challenged himself and achieved board certification in Endodontics. The board certification process is lengthy,and of the several thousand Endodontists in the United States, approximately 20%are aDiplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.
Dr. Thayer was raised in Lake Jackson, Texasand graduated from Brazoswood High School. He continuedhis education at Texas Tech University wherehe graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Sport Sciences in 2009.Following college,Dr. Thayer began his dental education at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and graduated with aD.D.S. degree, along with numerous clinical honors.To continue his education, he then moved to Oklahoma City to complete a one year residency in Advanced General Dentistry. Dr. Thayer recently moved to the area from New Orleans,where hereceivedhis Certificate in Endodontics AND Master of Science of Dentistry from theGraduate Endodontic Program at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. He is currently board eligible to become aDiplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, and he is well on his way to achieving this goal.
