Dr. Cotton was raised in Wharton, Texasand graduated Valedictorian from Boling High School. He continuedhis education at Texas A&M University wherehe graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science in 2002.Following college,Dr. Cottonenrolled into dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and graduated first in his class with aD.D.S. degree.Staying in San Antonio,hereceivedhis Certificate in Endodontics from theGraduate Endodontic Program at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Because education is a high priority to Dr. Cotton, he challenged himself and achieved board certification in Endodontics. The board certification process is lengthy,and of the several thousand Endodontists in the United States, approximately 20%are aDiplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.
Dr. Thayer was raised in Lake Jackson, Texasand graduated from Brazoswood High School. He continuedhis education at Texas Tech University wherehe graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Sport Sciences in 2009.Following college,Dr. Thayer began his dental education at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and graduated with aD.D.S. degree, along with numerous clinical honors.To continue his education, he then moved to Oklahoma City to complete a one year residency in Advanced General Dentistry. Dr. Thayer recently moved to the area from New Orleans,where hereceivedhis Certificate in Endodontics AND Master of Science of Dentistry from theGraduate Endodontic Program at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. He is currently board eligible to become aDiplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, and he is well on his way to achieving this goal.

I went in for a root canal. I have never had a better experience. I was eating normal by the next day. I had little to no pain the day off the procedure.

Needed a root canal as an emergency and they got me in on the same day with the Covid -19 going on here in college station. Dr. Cotton and his staff did an excellent job! Over the top! I couldn't be more happy. I was in a lot of pain from a back bottom molar nerve dying. Took about 2 hours for the procedure and everything went perfect. Great work! Dr. Cotton even personally called me at 9pm to check on me and my pain level. You will not regret the top notch service you receive from Cotton and his staff. A very nice facility too. I got referred to Dr. Cotton for my root canal! Very happy with appointment. Very friendly staff and Dr. Cotton was wonderful through the whole process! He explained everything while working & did a follow up call the night of to make sure everything was going good! Top notch customer service and approval! Well, I was referred to Dr Cotton and their attitudes were good. I had one root canal on 19th and one filling in the front tooth 8 th for whitening. However, only one year passed and inflammation occurred with infection in the 19th again after his treatment. Actually I have been feeling this pain in this past year and never thought that teeth was not cured at all. Now it is getting worse. Besides, for my 8th teeth, I am not sure what materials Dr Cotton used for me, but now the filling just cracked my front teeth. I called them and their attitudes are not good any more. No judge, just describe the truth. Very disappointed! Now I need redo everything or even more... I spent a lot of money in their office to treat only two teeth and both of them are getting worse!

Dr. Cotton and his staff were very professional and made me feel completely at ease. Having had a bad experience several years ago with another Dr. I was very apprehensive but Dr. Cotton explained exactly what he would be doing and updated me throughout. I never felt an ounce of pain. I highly recommend Dr. Cotton and would not hesitate to return to him in the future.

They give you blankets if your cold, and they have a TV on the ceiling to keep you distracted while they work. Dr. Cotton does a great job about telling you what he is doing all steps of the process so that you feel comfortable while he is drilling in your mouth, and gives you an overview at the end about the work he did. Dr. Cotton gives you his personal cell phone number in case of emergencies and even calls you that night to check in on you. Hopefully I never need him again, but if I do I would not hesitate about coming back in a heartbeat. I would refer anyone and everyone that needs a Endodontist to go straight to Dr. Cotton.

I needed a root canal and was dreading the procedure, but I couldn't believe how well it actually went. Dr. Cotton was very thorough in explaining every detail of the procedure to me, made me feel very comfortable, gave me earphones to listen to the overhead television while he worked, and numbed my mouth very well so that I felt only some minor discomfort. My dentist, Dr. Tamie Erratt, said this guy is the best, and I would have to agree with her. He even called me after hours that evening from his personal cell phone to make sure I was doing ok. Not only was I doing very well, but I had no soreness or pain, even after the numbness wore off. I couldn't be more pleased with my experience; thanks Dr. Cotton!

First of all, NO PAIN! I've been there three times, he explained what he was doing throughout the process and called me the evening of my appointments to find out how I was doing. Leeza, his assistant, got a blanket for me when I got cold. I felt cared for, plus, there was a TV on the ceiling. Mostly though, I appreciate his professionalism.
