Stay away from this place. They tried to charge me $1,400 for a porcelain crown instead of billing my secondary insurance who would have paid them $325 and a $150 copay from me. Update- i went to a different dentist and my primary and secondary insurance paid for not 1 but 3 crowns. Out of pocket cost $0. Cosmopolitan dental should be ashame of themselves for trying to steal from people and not honoring the insurance. This place deserves no stars.

I would not even give 1 star if google has that option. I totally agree with the other comment saying that a receptionist name Dana or Gina or whoever that is is so mean and rude. They blamed on me not check with the union and they billed/charged me $75 ($175 before the discount) for a X-ray where other dental office only charge $10 to SELF-PAY patient. Teeth Cleaning was done horribly as well. Please avoid going to this dental office if you can. PLEASE

Dr. Levinsky is a caring and talented dentist. Puts everyone at ease and is very professional. I am a recent patient of his and have had tooth cleanings and extractions. He calmed my fears and made me laugh in the dental chair. I have severe fear of dentists and he made me feel safe and in good hands. 100% recommend. If you are looking for someone to coddle you and sympathize with you that is not him but I personally prefer good matter of fact dental care. His staff are wonderful especially Priscilla on the front desk. She makes you feel like they really care about their patients. The dental technicians are caring and informative with any questions i ever have.

Fishy. They tried to take $40 cash from me for an xray. They did NOT mention this on the phone but expect me to pay $40 when in fact my insurance covers all my expenses. So I gave them picture of my xray from my phone and they printed out. Consultation was just a mere 5 minutes and I'm out. The room was dark. They acted unprofessional so I had my wisdom teeth removed at another place and they did NOT ask me to pay $40 for xray because like i mentioned before my insurance covers everything.

Don't go there!!A dental nightmare on 86th st.!I was there to fill a tooth(after 6 months the cement in that tooth fell down),and because i had pain in all the molars lower and upper on both sides of my mouth.The dentist was Kale,he made the x-rays and he said to me that i need 2 root canals because i had 2 cavities in 2 molars in the lower right side.I asked to him:can you show to me the cavities on the x-rays please?He answered:no,you can't see them because they are too deep!I said:so how do you know that i have 2 cavities if you are unable to see them ?!?!He continued to lie and say that i need 2 root canals,i have the copies of the x-rays and the next dentist who have seen me said that i don't have any cavity in the 2 molars!!For all the time i was there he continued to repeat to me that i need 2 root canals!He was determined to make root canals in my mouth so when he filled the tooth in the other side(in that tooth there was not cavity,this is what he said and is shown in the x-rays),so he dug,dug and dug i started to feel a pain intermittent in the tooth with all the anesthetic!I asked to him:the reason of the pain and he lied one more time,he said that were the gums,instead he killed the tooth!!After he killed the tooth he said:you need a root canal in this tooth(OF COURSE,HE KILLED IT);SO YOU GO IN THIS DENTAL CENTER WITH GOOD TEETH AND GO BACK AT HOME WITH DEAD TEETH!!!!!I never did any root canal there.A different dentist who have seen me after said:he killed the tooth and filled it in a wrong way too,he left material between my teeth,he said he was not good!After 1 month i went there to complain because the pain was huge in the tooth killed,the secretary answered:and you came here after 1 month?I explained that because he lied to me i thought was a pain in the gum and than the other dentists give to their customers a 6 months warranty on the teeth!The dentist Levinsky was in the other room but he never came to me to apologize or give any explanations,totally careless!!Now if i ever believed in what they said to me now i was with 3 root canals in my mouth and them with several thousands of dollars more in their bank account!!!!!!!!!!I still have the teeth in my mouth,sane,alive,the 2 molars in the lower right side!!!!!

My family and I have used Cosmopolitan Dental for many years now. Dr. Levinsky has always been professional and his service is nothing but top notch! I am always referring friends and family to this practice.

I am very happy to say that I have been a patient by dr. Levinsky for a very long time, and every time I am in need of dental work the office is prompt in helping with scheduling. Dr. Levinsky is very caring and Professional is work is the best, and appointments is always on time.
