Dr. Julian Berlin grew up in New York where his love for working with children was evident at a young age as he was an assistant coach to children under 12 in Brooklyn Cosmopolitan Junior Soccer League.
In 2010, Dr. Berlin earned his DDS from New York University College of Dentistry. After completing a one-year general practice residency at Maimonides Medical Center, he decided to focus on pediatrics. He then completed a two-year pediatric training at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Berlin is currently on staff at Broward Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale` to perform dental procedures for patients under general anesthesia.
In 2018, Dr. Julian Berlin relocated to South Florida and created a unique office with a fun outer space adventure for the children visiting the dentist. The goal was to provide them with an experience that makes them feel like they are the most important little astronauts in the world!

I would like to thank everyone at Cosmic Smiles for making my sons first dentist appointment a memorable one. If you're looking for a pediatric dentist this is the place to go, the staff was friendly and kind and the office was out of this world with its star wars theme. To top it all off my son is already asking when are we going back.

Cosmic smiles is such a wonderful dental practice ! You will get nothing but the best here! From the absolutely amazing office staff who go above and beyond for you to Doctor Berlin making your children feel completely comfortable with any procedure they may have to get done . I would recommend this place to everyone as there is non like it ! My three children no longer have a fear of going to the dentist after coming here as the staff make it fun and exciting for them !

It was our first time brining our first baby for a dental checkup of his first two teeth. I chose this practice because of the raving reviews and pictures from other parents. Making our appointment, filling out forms online and verifying insurance was all easy and pleasant. The receptionist was super sweet with our baby and very personable. The technician I thought was a little rough brushing our baby's teeth and gums but our baby was crying so maybe my feelings are a bit skewed due to me feeling bad for him during that process. Overall she was very knowledgeable and taught us how to properly take care of our baby's dental hygiene. The dentist was very quick with our baby but still it was nerve racking as the crying was just awful but at that age he was just upset and there's no getting around that, I just hope it will be easier our next trip in 6 mos. The dentist did a quick check up and minor cleaning of or sons two bottom teeth and explained the order in which the others will make their appearance. He answered any and all questions we had and that was that! I thought the helium balloon and coco melon would ease things during our first visit but nothing would have prevented the crying. Overall I was happy with our experience and I'm looking forward to our next visit!

Fantastic service from making the appointment to filling out the forms and short wait time to actually see the doctor. Dr Berlin was excellent and my daughter loved her experience and the X-rays too. Happy mommy and daughter we found this gem.

Best experience my daughter had an emergency he dentist cannot see her into October 27 even though her face was swollen but Cosmic Smile give us a appointment for the same day an help my daughter with her pain I would be coming back thank you so much

Great place to take your kids! Very attentive staff, clean and attractive place, and most importantly they treat your kids well. I would say the only thing I didn't like was that they had a movie on that was not appropriate for all ages (not toddlers).

Today was the first time we visit Cosmic smiles, and we loved it. My son is excited to come back. X-ray was painless (unlike in other office we have attended), and cleaning was good as well, Doctor is knowledgeable, front office manager is friendly. We chose this office by recommendation of several friends, and will be recommending it ourself:)
