A dentist with more than 20 years of experience, Dr.Ganji received her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, College Park in 1991, and her DDS degree from Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, University of Maryland in 1996. Dr. Ganji understands how important it is to keep up with the many changes in the dental industry.
To stay informed, she has attended numerous hours of continuing education training in cosmetic dentistry, Lumineers, Invisalign clear braces, and implants, as well as other dental innovations. As a testimony to her dental skills, Northern Virginia Magazine chose Dr. Ganji as one of the region's top dentists of 2006. She lives in Vienna with her husband Allen and their two children.
Elsy entered the dental field in 2001, and she has been with our team for more than ten years. Elsy takes time to carefully explain patients treatment options, and she works with them to fully understand every aspect of their ongoing dental care plan. Elsy attended Northern Virginia Community College, is x-ray safety certified, and is a dental assistant. A native of Lorton, VA, Elsy enjoys cooking Spanish, Italian, and French cuisines when shes not hard at work in our office.
Since 2012, Celia has worked diligently to ensure patients receive the quality dental care they need free from pain or stress. Celia also has certifications in dental radiation (x-rays) safety, and adults and childrens CPR. Celia loves having the opportunity to work in an office where she meets new people and learns new things every day. When shes not hard at work helping patients get their healthiest smiles, Celia enjoys hiking, dancing, and making new friends.
Since 2014, Giampierre has offered attentive and friendly care for all of our patients. He studied Northern Virginia Community College, x-ray certified, and hopes to one day further his dental studies. A native of Reston, VA, Giampierre is the oldest of three children, and the only son. He enjoys playing soccer and basketball, making lasagna with his super-secret ingredient (Alfredo sauce), and you can probably catch him streaming games on Twitch as GPmaster96.
Following the surgical placement of dental implant posts, patients undergo a process known as osseointegration. This is the fusing together of dental implants with gum tissue and supportive alveolar bone. The process can take anywhere from three to six months depending on the extent of tooth loss, patients overall health, and a number of other factors. Once the process is complete, the dental implant will closely mimic the lost root structure and support one or more replacement teeth. Patients with one to four consecutive missing teeth will need restoration with a dental crown or fixed bridge. Single teeth are replaced by attaching a crown to an implant post. Two consecutive teeth can typically be restored by attaching two replacement crowns together, and fixing them to a single implant. Patients with three to four consecutive missing teeth will need two implants to support either end of a fixed bridge restoration.
Patients with extensive tooth loss have traditionally relied on partial and full dentures. The removable partial dentures utilize remaining healthy teeth to anchor the restoration, and full dentures are held in place through suction between the denture and gum tissue or denture adhesive. While these restorative solutions significantly improve patients oral health, self-confidence, and overall wellbeing, they often shift while patients eat or speak, rub against gums, and can limit diet. Dental implant supported partials and dentures offer patients complete restoration with superior comfort and stability. The number of implant posts needed to support a partial denture depends on the size of patients jawbones, extent of tooth loss, and location of missing teeth. Full dentures are typically attached to between four and six implant posts. We offer both fixed and removable implant supported prosthetics in order to meet any patient preference.

I have been seeing Dr Ganji for few years. And had great experience during those times. I read the negative reviews and did not agree but had to call her office for a quote on a filling that has come out. (I did explain to the staff as I do not have job/insurance for an year) I am looking to pay just for the necessary and immediate care. The staff was rude (I agree with another reviewer), she said I am looking at your treatment plan you need a crown a totally different tooth and... blah blah... I asked her again "have you checked with Dr Ganji, it is about an existing filling at a different molar". To that she replied (rudely) I am looking at your treatment plan and this is what Dr will also tell you. Hmmmm. I had to just thank her and end the call.

I've been seeing Dr Ganji since I moved to Northern VA four years ago. The staff is great and does a thorough job while cleaning. I've been twice a year for four years and each time my appointment started promptly and was completed quickly. They don't try to up sell you unnecessary services or teeth whitening. This office is by my work, so I'm able to get from work and back in 45 minutes or less every time.

I attempted to make an appointment and the staff was the most incompetent and rude. I was transferred several times with reason and when someone actually picked up they made seem like it was my fault I did not make their job easier. Please avoid this dentist an staff at all cost, they are rude and nasty people. If possible to give Zero stars I would

My family loves Dr. Ganji and we couldn't ask for anyone any better for taking care of our families dental needs. We have a son that is a little over 2 that loves the dentist!! Seriously how does that happen???!!! If you are looking for the best dentist in the DMV you should definitely give Dr. Ganji and her staff a try!!
