Dr. Nash began his practice in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1980 and has focused on esthetic and cosmetic treatment since the early part of that decade. He provides excellent dental care and treatment in a warm and compassionate environment.
In 1995, Dr. Nash married Debra Engelhardt, a nationally recognized dental practice management expert. Together they established the Nash Institute for Dental Learning in Huntersville, to provide continuing education courses for dentists and team members from all over the United States and around the world on subjects in dental materials techniques and practice enhancement.
Dr. Nash and Debra opened a small satellite dental practice in the Lake Norman area just outside of Charlotte proper in 2006. The limited practice has been so successful that they have expanded it into a full range dental practice. The new state-of-the-art facility in Huntersville houses six operatories with the most modern and up-to-date equipment available. The facility provides a spa-like atmosphere designed to enhance patient comfort and the entire dental treatment experience.
An international lecturer on esthetic dentistry, Dr. Nash is one of only 80 Accredited Fellows worldwide (the highest achievement level) in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), the largest organization of its kind in the world. The rigorous process that are required for this type of recognition show that a dentist has acquired extraordinary skills in the areas of esthetic and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Ross Nash brings these skills to all of his patients.
Dr. Nash graduated from North Carolina State University as a textile engineer and four years later went on to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for his dental degree. He has served as an adjunct faculty member in post graduate training for many dental schools including Baylor, Medical College of Georgia and NYU.
In the eyes of his patients, Dr. Nash is a compassionate, thorough dentist who takes great care in assuring the comfort and confidence of each of his patients. The skill level of your dentist is an important component in getting the most from your cosmetic, restorative, and general dentistry treatments. However, if your dentist does not have access to the right tools, no amount of talent can fill that void.
Dr. Nash uses lasers to detect cavities earlier than other methods would allow; however, he also utilizes lasers to contour gums or perform other soft-tissue dental treatments. In-office Power Whitening also relies on the use of a special laser.

I have gone to Dr Nash for years now and Rhonda lovingly cleans and polishes my chompers every 6 months. Yesterday I had the opportunity to meet Dr Wormlinger and he did 2 fillings for me (apparently I brush too hard and had created some sensitive grooves in my teeth.) As pleasurable as fillings can be, it was. Today I'm no longer sensitive. Plus I didn't even feel the numbing injections. Kuddos team!

My wife and I have been a part of this family for many years. There is no better dental practice anywhere, hands down! I can't count the "over and above" service that we have experienced over the years. The team at Cosmetic Dentistry of the Carolinas is committed to each and every patient, beyond standard expectations. Dr. Nash and his wife Deborah have treat their staff just like they treat their patients. It shows! Side note....Dr. Nash is known nationally as the very best cosmetic dentist in the country.

Today I went to Dr Nash on recommendations from a dentist friend who said he had been to a seminar and saw the results of Dr Nash's expertise that he wouldn't even attempt. I'm so happy that I did. He was very patient and really listened to my concerns then proceeded to explain several scenarios for end results. I appreciated his less evasive lean. I also was made to feel very comfortable by Dr Rhonda, the technician. She did her best to put me at ease with some procedures I wasn't comfortable with. She was very kind. I haven't had any doctor/patient experience like this in years!!! I highly recommend this office on all fronts.

Cosmetic Denistry has the NICEST staff! Everyone is so sweet and welcoming in the office. Dr. Nash and Dr. Wurmlinger not only know their stuff, but they are genuine in their assessment and you can tell they care about you personally. Highly recommend!

From the moment I walked in the office I felt like family! I had considered getting veneers for years and just couldn't make myself go in for a consultation, in fact Dr. Nash did a phone consult with me well over a year before I decided to make the trip in (2 hours from home). When I scheduled my appointment Rhonda was so warm and welcoming on the phone then Dylan, Dr. Nash & Dr. Tyler were the absolute sweetest once I arrived! I felt completely at ease which I have never said about a dental visit before. I had an idea of what I wanted until the docs led me in an even better direction and I was over the moon about it! During the entire process every little minor detail was taken into consideration, clearly they are passionate about their work and in the end I walked away with the most beautiful smile! Driving 2 hours was worth every mile - to get this smile!
