An ENDODONTIST is a dentist with two to three additional years of training specifically focused on Root Canals. They diagnose and treat problems involving the inside structure of the tooth. Prosthodontics is one of the nine dental specialties recognized by the American Dental Association. Graduate programs in Prosthodontics include classroom lectures and seminars, laboratory and clinical training in esthetics/cosmetics,crowns,bridges,veneers, inlays,complete and removable partial dentures,dental implants, TMD-jaw joint problems, traumatic injuries to oral structures, congenital or birth anomalies to teeth,snoring, sleep disorders, and oral cancer reconstruction and continuing care.
Dr. Brian T. Quesnell graduated with honors from the University of California at Davis with B.S. degrees in biological science and psychology. Next, he attended UCLA School of Dentistry, where he received his DDS degree and was the class valedictorian. He continued his education with an advanced general dentistry residency at UCLA. Then, Dr. Quesnell completed a two-year endodontic residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago, School of Dentistry. When Dr. Quesnell isnt spending time with his wife and daughter, he enjoys participating in and watching all types of sports, landscaping his yard and relaxing with his family.
Dr. Quesnell actively participates in post graduate courses throughout the United States in order to remain on the cutting edge of science and technology. He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, California Association of Endodontics, California Dental Association, San Diego County Dental Society and the San Diego Endodontic Study Club. He has presented research projects nationally and has published articles in the Journal of Endodontics.
Dr. Quesnell was selected by his peers to receive the San Diego Magazine 2009 Top Dentists Award. I have been going to Dr. Hornsby before they moved to their office on B street. I have always been satisfied with his work and the office manager (Keith) is very friendly and helpful.

Greatest dentist ever! I came here after having horrible work done over the border :(. Dr. Hornsby was able to fix the mistakes and restore my entire smile. In all , I had 17 teeth either replaced with implants or I needed crowns on teeth that were still good. He was patient and so nice to work with. Keith at the front desk is second to none! I would more than highly reccomend them.

I have been a patient with CDC for many years - Keith (front office) and Elsi (dental hygienist) are the best! Dr Hornsby and his staff are true professionals who make you feel like "family" and offer state-of-the-art dental services.

The front desk staff is grumpy and he says weird comments. Dr. Hornsby doesn't care about your time and will waste your time by making you wait and then not getting what you need done in your appointment because there is not enough time and then deciding you need another appointment to get said treatment done. Also, he rushes appointments, so don't expect a whole lot from this man. Just go elsewhere. He just doesn't care about his patients it's very apparent.

What can I say..... Nothing short of an awesome experience. I had a new bridge completed, the one I currently had was 12 years old and looked terrible. Dr. Hornsby and his team did a fantastic job. Yes the appointments are fairly quick but I appreciate that. He doesn't waste nobodies time or try to book four- five additional appointments to get one thing done. I wish I had before and after photos to post up of the work completed. I am very happy with the overall look of my teeth. And YES I recommend Cosmetic Dentistry Center of San Diego.

I dreaded going to the dentist before, but I find myself there every other week fixing everything I've wanted done. I've been going here for over ten years and have always had excellent service. I particularly enjoy my interactions with Keith, the business manager. He is warm and welcoming, professional, but also understands when to leave people alone. I can envisage how feeble-minded reviewers who require constant attention and external validation might mistake his efficiency for something else, but I just think he's damn good at his job and have never found him to be anything other than friendly and respectful.

Dr. Hornsby is an exceptionally talented dentist, and I've been to a lot of them. After needing to get numerous dental implants done, I've come to realize Dr. Hornsby should add "Artist" to his title. Because creating a natural looking smile that feels right requires tremendous detail and drive to deliver top notch results for his patients.

I always have an amazing experience here. I've had horrible fear of dentist since I was a kid (who hasn't?!) Walked in this place on a referral and first impression was the friendly staff, Keith who welcomed me! He answered all of my questions, and even said "Tess you will be fine!" And sure enough, he was right. My biling is always to the T and that's a plus because you wants to deal with after bills when you think you've already paid your share! In addition, Doctor H is amazing, perfect bed side manners and even contacted me when I had a little scare, he asked me how I was doing for days! Elsy is exceptional with my cleanings, I go there like 3 or 4 times a year because she makes my clean's a cinch and it's my alone time to sit there and watch flix too! This place is fantastic!!

As one of the reviewers said "First Impression Always Counts" I have to agree that the guy who sit at the front desk of this office is a rude, unwelcome, and always has a grumpy face. I came to inquire about the dental services, and all Keith did is rush in to the answers, and did not smile once. I understand the law does not allow us to do gender discrimination, but having a male at front desk is just not a smart thing to do, specially if you are going to hire an ogre to be at your front desk. This dentist should consider revising his staff, because Keith has zero customer service. Response to Dr. H. I did not said I do not like males getting hired in front desk, I just did not like your front desk guy, go check other reviews online and people have the same thing to say about Keith. It seems to me that you do not like criticism, if you really want better reviews you should then make sure your front desk is doing a proper job with your patients.
