Our 14 team members range in experience from 11 consecutive years of work to 35 years. We rarely have a team member leave our practice, which provides patients with continuity of care as well as a warm, comfortable environment for them to receive their care. We pride ourselves on delivering beautiful dentistry in a fun atmosphere. Music from jazz to classical usually fills our office space.

Dr. Kims main field of interest is prosthodontics, including full mouth rehabilitations, complete and partial dentures, crown and bridge, treatment for bruxism (teeth grinding), and treatment of cosmetic and aesthetic problems via veneers, all-ceramic restorations, Invisalign, and bleaching. He uses multiple techniques to restore and rehabilitate dental implants to replace single tooth, multiple teeth, and even the full mouth.

Dr. Kim believes that compassion, honesty, and expertise are his greatest assets when working with patients. This is why he is driven to know and understand all possible treatment options, to recommend those that are appropriate, and then to skillfully provide the very best and most beautiful results.

Dr. Kim has a strong passion for serving underserved regions that are in need of dental treatments. Recently he visited multiple small villages in Bolivia, Haiti and the Dominican Republic to provide necessary dental treatments to patients who have never had dental work before. Dr. Kim holds memberships in several professional organizations including the American College of Prosthodontics, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Massachusetts Dental Society.

Teaching cosmetic dentistry and clinical photography has always been of special interest to Dr. Walk. He has lectured in Hong Kong for Fdration Dentaire International, Brussels Belgium Cosmetic Dentistry Academy, St. Bartholomew Dental Society, American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, Greater New York Dental Conference, Yankee Dental Conference in Boston, and California Dental Society. He has lectured to thousands of dentists on Cosmetic Dentistry, Porcelain Veneers, and Clinical Dental Photography.

Many more pertinent opportunities in continuing education throughout the year, both live and online Dr. Walk is an accredited member of the AACD and lecturer in aesthetic dentistry and clinical photography. He has consulted with the Polaroid Corporation in the development of intraoral camera systems. Dr. Walk has lectured at Harvard, Tufts, and Pennsylvania Dental Schools Continuing Education Departments, as well as FDI, ADA, and all major US dental meetings. Dr. Walk was born and brought up in the Boston area. He currently lives in the Needham-Newton locale. You may find him driving Porsche racecars during the New England racing season at Limerock Park, kayaking in the summer, or shooting photo opportunities for his in-house platinum palladium darkroom. As a family man, he has enjoyed time with his lovely wife, three children, five grandchildren (PIT CREW), and our dog, Chelsea.

Dr. Jonathan Bamel graduated from the Boston University School of Dental Medicine in 1983. He spent the following year at the Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn to complete his residency program. During that residency, he received extensive training in dental surgery and endodontics (root canals).

Upon returning to Boston, he opened his private practice in association with Dr. Walk in Newton. Dr. Bamel taught at the Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry from 1985 to 1995 as a clinical instructor for restorative dentistry.

Although Dr. Bamel spends much of his time doing cosmetic dentistry, he has spent the past 15 years at the cutting edge of implant dentistry. He finds it quite rewarding to replace teeth for patients with dental implants when false teeth would be the only alternative. His kind, sensitive, and efficient treatment of his patients has built a wonderful family dental practice.

Dr. Bamel lives in Newton with his wife Monique (also a dentist) and their three children. He is very involved in the community and contributes both his time and money to many charities. When he is not on the field coaching one of his kids sports, he plays tennis and golf and enjoys travel and wine.
