At Coshocton Dentistry, our goal is to make our patients 100% happy while providing them with the best dental care and advice. Because Coshocton is in such a rural area, we place a majority of our importance on providing as many services and treatments as possible. This way, ourpatients do not have to commute far distances for professional dental support.
Dr. Patrick Laaper was raised in the Coshocton area and returned to raise a family and serve his community with state-of-the-art dental care. He graduated from Coshocton High School in 1990, Miami University in 1994, and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1998. He also completed a one-year fellowship in implant dentistry at OSU in 1999.
Dr. Laaper belongs to and is active in numerous dental clubs and organizations including the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, and the Muskingum Valley Dental Society where he is a past president. He also is involved with the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the International Association for Orthodontics.
In his spare time, Dr. Laaper enjoys golf, basketball, gardening, and family activities with wife Angie, daughters Lily, Maggie, and Lilah, and sons Alec, Leo, and Beau. He also values community involvement working with youth and travel basketball as well as serves on a number of boards and committees throughout the area.
Dr. Laaper welcomes families and people of all ages into his practice. He is committed to making his patients comfortable in a dental setting and providing them with honest, dependable care that will benefit them for a lifetime.

Dr. Brian Dunlap grew up in Wilmington, Ohio, and moved to Dayton where he graduated from Beavercreek High School. Dr. Dunlap completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology at the Ohio State University. He is a 1989 graduate of the Ohio State University where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He came to Coshocton in 1990, looking for a nice small town practice like the one he grew up with.
Dr. Dunlap emphasizes continuing education as a major part of his practice. He has completed multiple fellowships and continuums of post-doctorate continuing education focusing mostly on implant dentistry, oral surgery, orthodontics, reconstructive cosmetics and digital dentistry. Patient education is also a foundation for Dr. Dunlaps practice, allowing him to help patients understand the choices they have and the value of maintaining their oral health.
A member of organized dentistry, Dr. Dunlap is a credentialed fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, a credentialed associate fellow in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Fellow of Midwest Implant Institute, and serves in his local dental society in several roles including past president. He is a member of the Muskingum Valley Dental Society, Ohio Dental Society, and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Dunlap met and married his wife Ann, an anesthetist, here in Coshocton. They have three sons Lucas, Andrew, and Stuart. Dr. Dunlap spends a lot of time tinkering outdoors on his farm. He also loves to play golf, racquetball, and soccer.
His love of soccer led him to coach his sons in competitive soccer throughout high school, and he is still involved in travel soccer in the community. He has been a member of the Coshocton Rotary Club for more than 20 years and served on many local boards including Clinic Director of the Childrens Dental Clinic and Muskingum Valley Health Centers.
Dr. Dunlap has a special place for the seniors in his practice. He helped establish the 80/20 club to honor those patients 80 years old with 20 or more of their own natural teeth. He and his staff host an annual celebration in their honor.

I assist our doctors with patient care, do lab work, keep our sterilization room in order, and help our hygiene team with patients and coronal polishing. The most gratifying aspect of my job is knowing that we help patients feel better about themselves, not just by improving their smiles, but by improving their lives. I love being a part of such a fun team, made up of good people who get along very well.
I attended Buckeye Career Center for my dental assistant training and joined Dr. Dunlaps team in 2011. I work alongside our doctors to assist with patient care. My goal is to help patients have a comfortable dental experience while making their smiles look amazing. I love it here because we have a great team and we work great together!
I earned my Associates Degree in dental hygiene from West Liberty University 2006 and joined Coshocton Dentistry in 2010. Ensuring my patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health is my top priority. I enjoy getting to know my patients on a personal level while providing encouragement to reach their goals. Our office has a great teamwork-centered environment where were all dedicated to providing high quality care.
I started working in the dental field in 2002 and earned my EFDA certification at OSU 2007. Since joining the Coshocton Dentistry team in 2008, Ive really enjoyed being a part of this teamwe have a lot of fun! The office is always full of smiles, especially when our patients see their restored smiles.
I earned my Associates degree in dental hygiene at West Liberty in 2004 and joined the team in 2016. I really enjoy getting to meet people and establishing relationships with them while providing education and improving their oral health. Our team always puts our patients needs first and works hard to be compassionate and understanding.
I live in West Lafayette with my husband of 11 years, Josh. We have two children Jace and Jaelyn, a dog, and three cats. In addition to working at Coshocton Dentistry, I teach dance at Jodys Dance in West Lafayette.
I attended Midland College of Commerce and have more than 40 years of hands-on experience in dentistry. Since 2000, Ive helped to maintain current procedure guidelines, equipment reports, and infection control practices here at Coshocton Dentistry. Every day presents new challenges and we meet them by working as a team.
Ive been married to my husband Harvey for 46 years. We have a son Michael who is a fashion designer in New York and a rescue cat named Zander that keeps life interesting. In my free time, I enjoy quilting, Bible study, and spending long weekends doing something fun and different with my husband.
I completed my dental assisting training from Buckeye Career Center in 2015 and joined Dr. Dunlaps team as an assistant that same year. It is so fulfilling to help patients make positive changes in their health and see their reactions when we transform their smiles. The best part of working here is that we all love to laugh and have fun!

I provide a range of preventive dental care, including cleanings, and educate patients on ways to keep their smile clean and healthy.
