I am from Chattanooga, Tn and my wife, Michelle, is from Pelham,Tn. We have a 5 year old daughter, Emerson, and two golden retrievers, Huck and Finn. I have been practicing Dentistry since 2009 when I graduated from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, College of Dentistry in Memphis, TN. I am an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry and a graduate of the prestigious Zimmer Implant Institute. I am also a member of the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association, and the 4th District Dental Society. I have completed advanced training in prosthodontics and endodontics as well as numerous other areas of dentistry. In 2019 I became a fellow with the Live Implant Training Institute completing over 80 hours of advanced implant placement.
I really enjoy the outdoors and any time spent with my family is time well spent. I love bass fishing and fly fishing. I am a runner and a cyclist and enjoy competing in Ironman and marathon events. My wife and I both really love dentistry as she is also a hygienist. She is often in the office taking calls or cleaning teeth. We enjoy giving back to the community with volunteer days, RAMM clinics, and local ministries. I look forward to meeting you and serving our community.
Sylvia Hutson: Office CoordinatorSylvia began her career in the dental field in 1988. She has been at this Winchester location for over 30 years. She is a registered Dental Assistant and absolutely loves dentistry. She is a Winchester native and resides with her husband of 32 years. She has 2 grown daughters and 2 grandsons. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
April Smartt : Registered Dental Hygienist April lives in Tracy City and enjoys gardening. She has been coming to this office as a patient her entire life! She has 3 dogs which she loves to play with. She is a happy newlywed!
Becky Abbott: Registered Dental Assistant Becky has been a dental assistant for over 30 years. She is from Winchester and resides here as well. Becky has one handsome son, Corey, and a dog named Boo. She loves what she does and working with her co-workers is more like being with family to her! She LOVES to travel, recently making her way to Australia with her sister! Becky also enjoys scuba diving, golf, watching the Vols play football, and spending time with her friends.
Mary Brannon: Expanded Functions Dental AssistantMary recently completed her Expanded Functions Certificate in Dental Assisting in Memphis, Tn. She can now place fillings once Dr.Cosby has prepped them. She has been here since 2007 as a dental assistant. Mary has been married to her high school sweetheart, Justin for 11 years. She enjoys church, being with family and friends, shopping, and DIY projects.
Courtney Young: Dental HygienistCourtney has been in hygiene for over 12 years. She and her husband, Nick, have 3 young boys. She is originally from Shelbyville and has lived in Winchester for 5 years. She has cows and horses and spends most of her time outdoors with family and friends.
Shelby Morrow: Dental HygienistShelby recently graduated hygiene school in July 2017. She is married to her husband, Coty, and they reside in Shelbyville. Shelby has a little girl who is almost 2 and 2 dogs!

This is the best dentist ever. You feel welcomed here, they know you by name, and remember little things about you too. Becky was amazing. They fixed my smile and I would recommend this place to anyone.

I just had my first appointment this morning with Dr. Cosby and is is Amazing! I had a tooth filling and some teeth corners leveled down without numbing and didn't feel a thing. His staff from the receptionist to his nurse and everyone who works in his office went above and beyond to make you feel more than comfortable. I would highly recommend this dentist and his staff above anyone I have ever seen. Best Dentist and Staff Ever!

If you suffer from dental phobia like me then I recommend Cosby Dental! Daniel and his entire staff are very friendly and gentle. Mary did a great job taking X-rays so I didn't feel like I was choking on the mouthpiece and Daniel had a very light touch while inspecting my teeth. I was greeted with smiles when I walked in and was smililing when I left. 6 out of 5 stars.
