I grew up in Los Alamos, New Mexico, and have always called the Southwest home. I fell in love with the Four Corners while traveling back and forth from New Mexico to Utah for my undergraduate education at Brigham Young University.
I received a bachelors degree in general business management in 2005, then moved across the country to Cleveland, Ohio, for my graduate dental education at Case Western Reserve University. While there, I met my bride, Whitney Webster, in church. I convinced her to date me while wearing the costume of a partially eaten peanut butter and jelly sandwich from the movie The Neverending Story. She was in medical school at the time, completed her training to become a pediatrician and has opened a direct primary care practice here in town (Cortez Pediatrics). She is a wonderful doctor, and if you have children, I highly recommend looking into her practice!
After I finished dental school, I did a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland. It was a great year and really sparked my interest in comprehensive care and continuing education. I love to learn about teeth! After our training, we looked to move back to the Four Corners. Cortez is a perfect fit for us. We are halfway between our parents in New Mexico and Utah, and we love the mountains and the people here.
We are currently the parents of three children. You will likely see them around the office at some point and, if not there, out on the soccer fields. We are happy to be your neighbors and friends, and we love to see you and say hi in the grocery store, in the movie theater or at the MCHS basketball games.
I was raised in Cortez, Colorado. After graduating from high school, I moved to Farmington, New Mexico, for 11 years. I have been in the dental field for over 13 years, and for nine of those years, I have been a dental hygienist.
I attended San Juan college and earned my dental hygiene degree in 2011. I really enjoy my profession and helping people understand their oral health needs. I strive to make people feel comfortable and at ease in the dental chair. I am a mother of two wonderful and very outgoing children.
We are a big sports family and enjoy playing and watching sports together. If we are not out on the field, on the court or in the dance studio, we are usually out fishing and paddle boarding. I look forward to meeting you.

I love this place!!! Dr. Schade is great!! He is fun!! He explains everything. He is gentle. His whole staff is great! They are all very caring and kind. That means a lot, because who likes to go to the dentist. They make it better!!! If I could give more then 5 stars I definitely would!!!!!

If you want a nice experience come to Cortez Dental. This place is the best dental office I have ever been too! It was so relaxing I almost feel asleep on the chair. Highly recommend this dental office!

Happy employees, so nice to go into this office. I broke a crown and had a new, perfect fit, one 2 days later. They made the crown within 2 hours.

I went there on Veteran's day. They are the only dental office I know of the gives free dental work to Veteran's. They are very friendly, clean, organized, updated with the latest technology and knowledgeable. Dr. Pack is good with all of his patients and Krystal was excellent with my x-rays, examination, and deep cleaning. A very professional group!

Went in for a two hour procedure and was treated as if I was the only patient they had. First class attention and care from start to finish. Dr. Pack took extra time to complete the procedure in a professional and pain free manner. We have been with Dr. Pack for a few years now. Him and his team are amazing. From routine cleanings, dental implants and tooth extractions. Scheduling is a breeze, even the emergency appointments. Dr. Packs team have always gone above and beyond to make sure my family's needs are meet!

I went in for a new crown. Dr Pack has such up to date technology! He can prep your crown and seat it all in one appointment. Berlin showed me the process step by step. Not only did I get a happy smile - I got a lesson in science. Pretty nifty.

I have been coming to Cortez Dental since Dr. Pack bought the practice several years ago. I keep coming back because I like it there. Everyone is concerned that you are pain-free and comfortable. Berlin has been helping Dr. Pack since the Pandemic. She is cheerful and very nice to work with. I like her. Dr. Pack is a joy! He knows what he is doing and will answer endless questions. It is obvious that he cares for his patients. They have done a superb job of having the clinic as safe as it could be. You will appreciate the atmosphere here. Give it a try!
