After graduating in 1994 from University of Texas Science Center in San Antonio, I completed a General Practice Residency in Tampa, Florida. My dental experience continued while serving almost four years in the USAF in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. While serving our country, I received extensive training in oral surgery and made a great deal of life long friends.
Following my work in the Air Force, I returned to Florida to practice in Orlando and the rural community of Inverness. While serving as the Dental Director for the Citrus County Health Department, I initiated community programs to promote high quality dental care for children.
As the daughter of a retired Petroleum Engineer, my childhood was spent visiting and living in several countries overseas. As a family, we became accustomed to moving and becoming part of a new community. Once I entered high school, I remained in the southern states until my family needs brought me to New England in 2008. What a culture shock that relocation was for this Southern Belle!
As I experienced my first snowy winter, I established privileges at several local hospitals and surgery centers. Consequently, I am able to provide extensive dental care for special needs patients and children with numerous cavities in addition to general dental care. For anyone who may be allergic to silver amalgam, I am able to provide a mercury-free environment for treating dental needs.
My philosophy is to treat the 'whole' patient when addressing the individual 's dental needs and considering the best course of treatment. I look forward to taking the 'scary factor' out of your next dental procedure and making each visit more educational and fun!
Dr Stephen Cohen graduated from University of Connecticut with a BA in Biology and with honors from New York University College of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery. He did his Prosthodontic Residency at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and the Veterans Administration Hospital in West Roxbury, Boston Massachusetts.
Dr. Cohen took a Fellowship in Maxillofacial Prosthodontics at the Veterans Administration Hospital in New York in conjunction with the Cranio-Facial Center at New York University College of Medicine.He is a past President of The Southern New Jersey Dental Society and the a past President of the New Jersey Section of the American College of Prosthodontics.
Dr. Cohen is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontist and a Fellow in the American College of Prosthodontists. He has lectured both nationally and internationally and is presently the Prosthodontic Section head of the Dental section of Virtua Hospital and an Attending in their General Dentistry Residency.

It was the best experience for my 11 year old daughter! She has extreme anxieties since she was younger. She started crying before Dr. Crowe even came in the room. Dr. Crowe's assistant was very comforting for her. When Dr. Crowe came in she was so very reassuring to my daughter Jennyfer that it was a very great experience and she is ready to proceed with whatever needs to be done. A great place to have a dental appointment!

Dr. crowe is one of a kind. Gentle and caring. I went searching everywhere before I found Dr. Crowe. After My son grew out of the ped dentist I couldn't find anyone to treat him. I had one dentist look in his mouth. Never addressed him by name.said the girls at the counter will give you a name of a specialist. Rude as all hell. Wouldn't take my cat there. My son has special needs and is in a power chair and has spacitity .Dr Crowe was able to deep clean his teeth fill two teeth one was pretty deep. She worked on him in a surgical center. . He was a little nervous Dr Crowe held his hand all the way into the OR. Last week he had a check up teeth cleaned beautiful smile and best of all no cavities.
