It is very difficult to get information from the office staff regarding billing and insurance. The receptionist doesn't seem to know about it, doesn't ask the patient's name, and doesn't volunteer to transfer the caller to the person in charge of billing and insurance. I had to suggest that that might have been the reason that she put me on hold in the first place when she didn't remember why I was on still on the line... but there was no one else available to talk to about my question.
