Dr. Christopher Durusky, DDS grew up in a military family and lived all over the United States. One way to adjust to new communities was to help others through volunteer service. Through his volunteer work he discovered a profound sense of fulfillment and enjoyed the relationships formed while serving others. With this realization, he attended North Carolina State University with the goal to continue to serve. After completing his undergraduate degree in Biology and Genetics, Dr. Durusky obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2012. Since graduating, he has worked as an associate dentist in Chapel Hill for four years.
Dr. Durusky is a confident clinician who prides himself on performing high quality dental work. He has the ability to establish relationships with patients which allows them to be more comfortable throughout procedures resulting in a more positive experience.Dr. Durusky has a conservative treatment philosophyand strongly believes in providing patients with the information needed to make informed decisions about their oral health. He is a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society and the American Academy of General Dentistry.
He lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina with his wife, Ashley, two year old daughter, Avery, and infant son Declan. In addition to his children he also has two golden retrievers and a sizeable orange cat. Dr. Durusky is a terrible golfer, but enjoys spending time outdoors with his family. He also enjoys woodworking and playing in an adult kickball league with his wife and friends.

Very happy with my first visit today. I was having terrible pain on one of my molars and they accommodated me to prioritize that and come back for a cleaning once that tooth is all taken care of (because I was nervous for a cleaning, not because they didn't have time or want to do it). Left way less anxious and with a referral for a root canal. Tina was very calming and could easily tell how nervous I was about anyone messing with the tooth that had kept me up the last few nights. She was very gentle with xray placement to not agitate my tooth.

This practice is amazing! I love going to the dentist, and that is not something I said with previous dentists. They make you feel comfortable and all of the staff are so friendly. I would absolutely recommend this dental practice.

Cornerstone Family Dentistry (at Chapel Hill) always does great work. I never feel rushed or unwelcomed and the dentistry has the best views. Dr. Durusky is kind and very straight forward, and the other staff have excellent attention to detail all while being just as welcoming. I highly recommend their dentistry.

I had a great experience today having my teeth cleaned by Nancy, the dental hygienist. She meticulously cleaned every single tooth with a gentle touch. She was courteous and treated me well. The whole experience was pleasant and painless. I'd definitely ask for her again if I'm so lucky to have her the next time.

I love Cornerstone Family Dentistry! Dr Durusky and his staff are skilled professionals that honestly care about their patients. They take their time with you, thoroughly address any questions and concerns you might have and are straightforward regarding treatment and costs. If you don't have dental insurance, be sure to look into their "self pay" program - totally worth it!!

I was referred to this office by several friends in the community who have all had wonderful experiences. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the energy in the office feels very positive and nurturing. Dr. Durusky is kind and compassionate and very honest in his approach to dentistry. I would highly recommend this practice- it is a fantastic team.
