I am originally from Ankeny, Iowa. I attended the University of Northern Iowa where I majored in Biology and Business/Finance, Northern Arizona University, University of Aalborg, Denmark and the University of Iowa Dental School. My endodontic specialty training was completed at the University of Maryland.
I enjoy history and politics, reading, gentleman farming, hunting, fishing, and coaching my childrens sports teams. We are incredibly blessed to have four children and recently celebrated 25 years of wedded bliss.
I am a founding partner of Cornerstone Endodontics (1998) and truly enjoy the technical and personal aspects of practicing endodontics. I cherish my relationships with our patients and partner offices and look forward to helping you.
I am from Albuquerque, New Mexico. I attended the University of New Mexico on a music scholarship by playing violin and viola. My undergraduate dental training was here in Kansas City at the University of Missouri-School of Dentistry. After graduation, I was blessed to practice general dentistry for over 8 years, and continued onto specialty training at the Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. It has been a privilege to have presented numerous lectures at the annual American Association of Endodontists meetings, as well as, various civic and professional organizations.
I grew fond of the Midwest and the lifestyle here in Kansas City. Faith, family and friends are what I hold dear. My hobbies are cycling, hunting, fishing, and camping. I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family, being a cub scout den leader and Sunday school teacher. I consider myself an avid barbeque chef in search of the 'perfect' brisket.
Having grown up in Wheaton, Illinois, I received my Bachelors degree in Biology from Illinois Benedictine College. I attended dental school at the University of Iowa and obtained my D.D.S. degree in 1994. I then served in the United States Navy Dental Corps for three years. My interest in endodontics was piqued while I was stationed with the Marine Corps at Camp LeJeune, North Carolina. I completed my endodontic specialty training in Baltimore at the University of Maryland. I practiced endodontics in Naperville, Illinois for fourteen years before joining Cornerstone Endodontics in January, 2014.
When not in the office, I am honored to help my wife raise our seven children. My wife and I recently returned from China after adoptingthe newest addition to our clan: a darling three year old boy.Now the poor girls are outnumbered by a 5 to 2 margin. Our family is close-knit and enjoys spending time together.When time permits, I prefer to beoutdoors. My wife and my children are among the richest blessings that the Lord has given me. I wouldnt be who I am without them in my life.
I grew up on a farm outside of Orange City, Iowa, located in the northwest corner of the state. I attended Northwestern College (Orange City, IA), where I majored in biology and ran track and cross country. I received both my undergraduate dental degree and my specialty training in endodontics from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry.
I still love to run, and my husband and I enjoy exploring new trails and competing in road races from 5Ks to marathons. I also enjoy outdoor activities of any kind, including hiking, biking, skiing, and camping. I enjoy music and trying new recipes in my free time.
I am originally from Hays, Kansas. I attended Kansas State University where I majored in biology and minored in business. I have known I wanted to have a career in the amazing field of dentistry since high school, and I followed my dream and received my DDS degree at the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry. After practicing general dentistry in the Kansas City area, I returned to UMKC School of Dentistry for endodontic specialty training.
I spend most of my free time fostering homeless dogs until they can find a home of their own. I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and my own dogs. I also love to cheer on Kansas and Kansas City sports teams.
I am very passionate about endodontics and staying up to date with advancements in the field. I am so grateful to be able to serve patients in the Kansas City area through my career. My goal is to provide the most quality treatment with compassion and comfort.
I grew up in a small town in North Central Missouri. I attended Northeast Missouri State University (Truman State) and Mizzou majoring in Biology/Pre-Dental. After spending summers shadowing my uncle in his dental practice, I received my dental degree from Southern Illinois University (Alton Illinois). My Endodontic specialty training was at St. Louis University.
I served as the Kansas Endodontic Board co-chair for 15 years. I practiced Endodontics in Leawood Kansas for 20 years before selling my practice and joining Cornerstone Endodontics in 2020. I have lived in Lee's Summit for 16 years and love working in Lee's Summit and Overland Park. I feel so fortunate to be working with such talented and honest colleagues.
I grew up on a farm in the rolling hills of Wathena, Kansas along the banks of the Missouri River. I receivedmy bachelor of science is biology from Missouri Western University and followed up earning my Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri Kansas City. I completed a General Practice Residency In San Diego at Balboa NavalCenter. After several years of practicing general dentistry, I completed my certificate in endodontics at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
I have twins (Grace and Isaiah) whoare proud alumni of Blue Valley. They are the joy of my life and keep me on my toes at all times! I am passionate about everything I do. I enjoy volunteering throughout the city on the weekends. As a self proclaimed foodie, I enjoy exploring the city for new restaurants to discover. I enjoy all things outdoors and am particularlyfond of the springtime activity of morel mushroom hunting.

I was very impressed with Dr. Joon Kim. He was very personable and kind. I could tell he enjoyed what he does and is excellent at his craft. Made my root canal go as well as can be expected. Almost wish I needed another root canal... just kidding.

My husband and I have now had three root canals, two emergency and one to redo one from another dentist years ago. Every visit has been wonderful! They are so through, gentle and efficient. 1000% recommended!

Great experience, My family dentist referred me to Cornerstone Endodontics for an emergency root canal. When I called them, I had an appointment with Dr. George Euler with in 45 minutes. The staff was so caring and careful with my concerns. Dr. Euler explained the procedure in detail and then proceeded with treatment. It was painless and easy. He is a very caring person and wanted me to feel comfortable through the entire root canal. All around wonderful experience, from the front desk staff, to assistants and the Doctor. Highly recommend Cornerstone Endodontics.

5 stars is not enough. Dr. Holman took time to do a detailed explanation of what to expect and then made sure I understood. He encouraged questions. I didn't even feel any shots I required!!!! He was very thorough in his work. He had extraordinary teamwork with his assistant and as strange as it sounds, it was a pleasure having a root canal with these two expert professionals working on me. Dr. Holman's assistant was amazing. They both were and are! I am pleased to recommend Cornerstone Endodontics with extreme confidence and with no reservations. 5 stars is not sufficient!!!! If you need an Endodontist you must use Cornerstone. You won't regret it!

$250 xry not covered by insurance and I was not made aware of this prior to the service. I waited an hour in the chair before they got to me. When I got the call regarding my balance (after I had already paid roughly $450 at the time of my appt) I was informed that they do not let patients know that this particular xry is not covered. I will not be going back to this group. Edited. NO, NOONE MADE ME AWARE THAT THAT XRY WOULD NOT BE COVERED BY MY INSURANCE!

Just went in for a root canal today. The service was excellent, doctor Euler was phenomenal. He explained everything that was going to happen step by step, what my healing process would look like, and most importantly-- always made sure I was comfortable and pain free. Very quick service, absolutely would recommend to anyone looking to get dental work done

I would like to share my experience of what began as a very bad day with the worst tooth ache imaginable and ended up painfree at the end of the day. Few people want to go to visit the dentist but when you do Cornerstone Endodontics is the first choice in my book. The staff will treat you as if they feel your pain and are right there to answer any questions you have and are dedicated to help you feel better. I went from a pain level 1 tooth ache from 10:00 am and by 11:30 pain level 9 and at 12:00 on my way to my primary dentist then at 3:15 in the Endodontics chair. I experienced the best treatment that anyone could only dream of.

Absolutely the best dental experience of my like. Saw Dr. Vermeer on two separate occasions for two separate root canals, both occasions were great. She was gentle, efficient, and all around master of her craft. Both times the procedure took well under an hour, and went to work right after (construction, so swinging hammers and such). Really amazed at how little discomfort was associated the whole experience both times. Can not recommend her enough. Needs to work on "fist bump" delivery though.

I was referred by my local dentist to retreat a very old root canal by Dr. Randall at Cornerstone Endodontics. The office personnel made it easy to make a timely appointment and register online. I received a call and they answered all my questions and I was told the cost up front. Dr. Randall had received information from my dentist and was ready when I arrived from out of town. We discussed the xrays and my needs. He had a calming voice and told me what he was doing during the entire procedure. I was able to see post pics of the tooth, given instructions on the pain management and next steps with my local dentist. He was thorough in his work. I would not hesitate to come here again or refer anyone.

As someone that has a lot on anxiety about the dentist, seeing Dr Randall was on of the best experiences I have had and this was my first root canal. Everything was explained well and he was very attentive to when I was in pain, and did everything he could to make sure I was numb and comfortable. The entire staff was extremely friendly, especially the receptionist. Although I hope I never have to go back, if I do ever need a root canal again, I know where I go back too.

Dr. Vermeer and her assistant worked well together. It was a pleasant experience as far a root canals goes. The procedure went quicker than expected. Hardly any post procedure pain and no problems. I would highly recommend Dr. Vermeer.

I was referred to Cornerstone Endodontics for a root canal.I was not looking forward to the procedure. However, the entire staff did a great job. They were able to fit me in early. Dr Joon Kim explained the procedure to me and put me at ease. Hannah his assistant was so pleasant as was Kim at the front desk. I highly recommend the Lee's Summit office of Cornerstone Endodontics!

The employees here are all very nice and professional. I had a fear of going to the dentist and as a result developed tooth abscess that required a root canal .Dr Mark Holman did a fantastic job , now I will visit the dentist more often. He is the real deal.I will drive to Lee summit to see him if I require any endodontic work done in the future.

Best root canal experience I've ever experienced! Dr. Randall is an expert at his profession. Since I was unable to communicate with him during the procedure, he explained every aspect of the process, along with what I would expect to feel. Kudos to his staff, they were a well-orchestrated and choreographed team throughout the entire procedure. Finally thanks to his admin staff for getting my insurance in order for this procedure to proceed.
