Cornerstone Endodontics is a dental practice that specializes in treating conditions that affect the pulp of the tooth. Our first priority is to alleviate your tooth pain utilizing the most modern technologies available and science based research.
Endodontic procedures at Cornerstone Endodontics are performed under a dental operating microscope for better visualization and outcome. We also use Cone Beam 3D technology, a specialized imaging equipment which provides clear, three-dimensional images of your teeth, soft tissues, nerve pathways and bone in a single scan.
Dr. Kayla Tavares is a Board Certified Endodontist and has been practicing dentistry since 2010. She specializes in endodontic treatment in a gentle, peaceful environment, and is passionate about saving teeth.
Her passion for dentistry began at the age of 10 after suffering an accident that required several visits to the dentist. Her dentist was able to make the visits pleasant and helped save her teeth. After that experience, Dr. Kayla decided she wanted to help others save their teeth, while putting a smile on their face.
During dental school, Dr. Tavares developed a passion for root canal therapy, and pursued further endodontic training at the University of Florida and Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. While in her endodontic residency program, her clinical and research excellence in Regenerative Endodontics and Obturation Techniques were recognized with numerous awards.
