Dr. Grimesgrew up in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, a lakeside suburb of Detroit. He graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1986 then, after passing the Florida Board Examination, Dr. Grimes established a busy solo practice in Venice, Florida providing comprehensive care to patients for over 16 years. He was a member of several charitable organizations including Sertoma, Kiwanis, and was a five year board member and president of Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
Dr Grimes is married to Dr. Jeanette Billett, a practicing cardiologist with Novant Health Ashe Cardiology. They love hiking and gardening and moved to the High Country to enjoy these interests. Dr. Grimes also likes to grow orchids, a hobby he started over twenty years ago in Florida.

How is it that this place has such a high turnover rate of hygienists? This Dr must just have a thing for firing people or something. You will never see the same one for over a year at this place. Might as well go to Aspen Dental.

Ive called 10 dentist this morning and been down right hung up on a couple times put on hold 10 + mins. And Anita answered I could hear yer smile through the phone and helped me find a dentist even though they couldnt help me due to insurance . if I had the money id go here anyway because she was so friendly if the dentist cares half as much I'm sold.. Thanks you darling it has been a rought morning and I were a god send

Wonderful experience I've been terrified of the dentist since I was a small child they made me very comfortable and made sure I understood everything taking place, I am highly impressed with the services i received.

Best dentist practice EVER! Clean, neat and a full staff waiting to serve you professionally. How could you go anywhere else? Recommended Dr. Grimes to a lot of people! And I joined their membership club. Only $26 a month with discounts on other treatments. I am actually saving $65 per year. Who would of figured??

Super friendly dentist and office staff! The girls know my toddler by name and always ask about him when I go in. Everyone does such a great job while making you feel comfortable and cared for. Would recommend this office hands down!

Hello I just had my tooth pulled yesterday it was not bad at al . Ashley pre numbed it, then Dr Grimess gave me the shots which to me is the worst part. I Didnt feel it at all. Then it was time to pull the toot . It had pressure but that's all. They are awesome staff and Dr Grimes

My latest visit after a very long time was just as pleasant as I remembered with every one before. Dr Grimes and staff were thorough, but exhibited a congenial atmosphere.
