For more than fifteen years, Dr. John C. Kromhout has served Columbus area patients with comfortable dental care built to last. As a third generation dentist, he looks forward to serving the Powell community.
Dr. Kromhout grew up in Hilliard, Ohio, then traveled to Miami of Ohio for his undergraduate degree. In 2004, he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from The University of Kentucky. Dr. Kromhout continues to participate in post-doctoral dental continuing education courses. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Ohio Dental Association (ODA) and Columbus Dental Society (CDS).
As our Practice Coordinator, Ashley takes great pride in meeting the customer relations needs of our practice. She looks for opportunities to make a difference and is particularly excited to welcome patients into our new practice.
Ashley earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Medical Office Management from Franklin University. She has spent severalyears in the dental field working in a dental lab as well as in a dental office. Ashley is able to provide high standards of service and reliability for our patients.
Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband, Jude, and three beautiful daughters. When they have a moment away from the little ones, they love trying new restaurants and socializing with friends and family.
Although Stacey is new to the dental field, her experience working with people makes her a perfect fit as our Patient Coordinator! She is thrilled to represent Cornerstone Dental and is excited to get to know all of our amazing patients.
Stacey graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Biochemistry and a minor in calculus. She enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Rudy and their black lab, Stella. In her free time, you can find her at a Pure Barre studio, spending time with her friends, checking out all the new restaurants in the Short North and cheering on the Columbus Blue Jackets and OSU Football!
Tiffani is our EFDA/Certified Dental Assistant. She has been working in the dental field since 1999. In 2010 she received her certification in Expanded Functions for Dental Auxiliaries (EFDA) giving her the training and capability to place restorations (fillings and sealants). She is passionate about placing restorations that make the patient feel great about their smile. Tiffani also takes great pride in building trusting relationships with our patients by explaining procedures and answering any questions they may have.
Allison is our Registered Dental Hygienist who graduated from CSCC with a Degree of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She is also licensed to administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation. She has a great interest in the field of dentistry and keeps her knowledge up to date by completing many hours of continuing education per year. She loves forming relationships with her patients and educating them on how to keep a healthy smile.
Jessica enjoys living life with her husband and 2 sons. She spends her time skydiving, rock climbing, base jumping and kidding about participating in daring activities when shes actually doing dishes, laundry and teaching little people how to write the alphabet.
Carrie is our Registered Dental Hygienist that graduated from Rhodes State College in 2018 with a degree of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She is licensed to administer local anesthesia and monitor nitrous oxide. Her dental field experience began in 2013 as a dental assistant before hygiene school. She is looking forward to building relationships with her patients while helping them achieve their healthies smile.
In her spare time Carrie enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs. She loves trying out new places in the Columbus area with her friends and family. She also enjoys working out and travelling to see different places around the country.

Cornerstone Dental is a great place for anyone who is looking for a friendly and comfortable dental experience. Parking and building are easily accessible for the handicapped. They provide a professional and safe environment. I actually look forward to going and my teeth feel great when I leave.

I have been going to Cornerstone for over three years now and they are best in class in so many ways.... They are incredibly accommodating when you have any kind of dental emergency (crown, broken filling, etc!). The staff is always friendly and they truly build a relationship with you as a patient. Finally, they are always upfront on your options, costs, and insurance coverage. Five stars all the way!

The staff are wonderful with all members of our family. Our kids need a little extra love and Cornerstone has always made them feel comfortable. Jessica is so welcoming and really values her clients, and Dr. Kromhout is friendly and so helpful. (Yes, I was the mom who took a one-year-old to the dentist only to confirm that she in fact was teething... and Dr. Kromhout was professional and made me feel understood as I was worried about baby's gum pain.)

Cornerstone dental is the best dentist that my family has been to since we've been in Columbus! Dr Kromhout and all the staff was very friendly and patient with my daughter. They walked us through everything and made sure she knew what was gonna happen before he did it. We love cornerstone dental!

There is a long story behind my reason for 5 stars, but I'll provide the short version since The Guards game is just in commercial! I had an issue with a tooth that I believe was actually caused by a different dentist, so I was looking for a new place. My mother works for a dentist, but outside my insurance. My wife works in the field, but not at a dentist, but her boss recommended Dr. Kromhout as someone he attended dental school with. I trusted this recommendation, and am glad I did. Extremely friendly place and I've never had a long wait up on arrival. My first time there, they provided a tour of the facility and made me feel very at home. My kids and I have all moved over, and I'll recommend them to anyone who asks.
