I've been going to Cornerstone Dental for a number of years and am always amazed at how friendly, professional, and painless the service is! They're super responsive to emergencies and take great care of their patients. Edited on 9/5/2022. I'm still going to Cornerstone Dental because Dr. Kwon is not only an excellent dentist, she talks to me about my whole body health and how my oral health can affect other things. Other dentists have never done that for me. She's excellent, she's gentle (stops every few moment to ask how I'm doing, if I have pain, and makes sure I'm comfortable.) I actually moved about 15 miles away and STILL go to her rather than find a closer dentist because I think she, her practice, and her staff are the best!

If you enjoy wasting your time for a simple check up, this is your place! I sat in the waiting room for 30 mins after my "appointment time" and was then taken back and seen by the hygeniscist. All she did was take my blood pressure, didn't bother to tell me what it was, and walked right back out. 45 mins after my scheduled time, Dr Kwon came in and saw me. I can say she was the only positive from this whole experience. She informed me what she thought was going on, what next steps to take and even did me the courtesy of waiving my charge since I'm a cash client. The lovely lady up front then informed me that they're an "accelerated office" and the hygenicist would see you first, followed by the doctor. If all thier hygienists do is take blood pressure, then they did that just fine(sort of). I understand having an hour appointment window allows for the doctor to come in after initial assessments. But when those assessments aren't made, that time sitting there is essentially wasted time that you pay them for. If I could leave the office negative stars on a review, but give Dr. Kwon 5 stars, I would absolutely do that. Just be ready to sit there for atleast 3/4 of your first hour doing nothing, and then have that wasted time attempted to be justified by the women up front. Terrible, just terrible. Worst dental experience I've ever had.

*No return phone call to discuss these concerns* -Completely inaccurate blood pressure cuff. Huge waste of my time getting blood pressure rechecked and buying a cuff. my blood pressure is normal despite very high reading at this office -poor training- poor supervision of new asst -skimmed over my teeth when "polishing" -repeating X-rays multiple times without asking for help - repeat exposure to unnecessary radiation. Then suggesting more after 6 tries! - did not transfer my info in time for my next appt. -large smudge of body fluid on wall. Dr Kwon was nice but this office is concerning.

This is the best dental office I've ever been to. Dr. Kwon immediately put me at ease. I developed anxiety from a prior dentist and was very anxious. She allowed me to ask questions and explained things very thoroughly. I had been told by my prior dentist I needed a gum graft which turns out isn't quite necessary yet. I also liked that she does your cleaning herself which I've never experienced before. Typically a hygienist will. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience from beginning to end and will recommend her to all my friends.

Dr Shigeta is one of the best dentists out there! He's thorough, patient, understanding and gentle. He's been working to fix my last dentist's mistakes, and has done such an awesome job explaining what needs done and why. Don't hesitate to give them a try... this office is amazing! (Oh... and Dr Choi is a great orthodontist as well... my daughter is so happy with her braces and he's great at talking through the progress each month.)

Cornerstone Dental has been my dentist of choice for years. They are currently handling COVID issues carefully and efficiently. The staff are all knowledgeable, trained and are helpful and proficient. Dr. Michelle Kwon is such a caring dentist and gives attention to all details. She asks good questions and is a good listener. The dental assistant, Jessica, is professional, yet personable. They are both good at explaining each step of the way. I HIGHLY recommend this practice!

Very patient and kind. I'm a terrible dentist patient but the team put me at ease and took great care of me. The best numbing experience and the absolute best root canal I have ever had. I wished I would have found them sooner. I highly recommend this place.
