I am dedicated to excellence in dentistry and I enjoy enhancing peoples lives. I am a perfectionist through and through. I find dentistry to be a wonderful blend of science and art, which allowsme to combine all of my strengths. Butit is the people who make this a great profession for me, with an exceptional team and a terrific family of patients.

I believe that a smile is the window to a persons self-esteem. Whether it is a whole new smile, a tweak to their existing smile, or simply taking pride in the health of their mouth, it is very rewarding to assist our patients and see the change in them, both physically and emotionally, as they journey toward optimal oral health.

Prior to buying my practice in 2006, I was a general dental practice residency coordinator at the Massachusetts General Hospital as part of the Harvard-wide GPR. Since that time, I have been very committed to advanced education. Rather thanteachresidents and students at this point, I focus on teaching myself, my team, and our family of patients. As a team, we do monthly literature reviews and are committed to offering the best for our patients.

I am very involved in the Massachusetts Dental Society as the chair of the standing committee for womens leadership in dentistry, and the program co-chair for the Yankee Dental Congress. I often volunteer my services to provide dentistry tounder-served populations via a mobile dental van provided by the MassachusettsDental Society.

Originally from central New Jersey, I have lived in Hopkintonfor the past 13 years. I love to spend time with my children, Lexi and Andrew. When I have free time I enjoy yoga, snow skiing, and playing on the Jersey Shore.

I am dedicated to providing the mostcurrent, comfortable, and quality dentistry. I love the combination of art, science, and patient care, and find dentistry to be a fascinating field where there is always opportunity to continue to learn and improve myself.

My goals in dentistry are to stay up to date with all the latest advances throughout my career, and beable to bring back to my family of patients the best in care and continue to educate my patients as well as our dental team.

Continuing my education is very important to me, and I take many courses offered through local, state, and national dental associations. My memberships include the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry.

While living in Connecticut and attending dental school, I volunteered my time with the Connecticut Mission of Mercy, which is a yearly two-day clinic to provide free dental care to the uninsured and underserved in the Connecticut area. I also went on an international outreach trip to Chile and was involved with dental research.

I was chosen, along with a select group of elite students, for national programs including the Paul Ambrose Scholar Program and the Academic Dental Careers Fellowship Program, which is sponsored by the American Dental Education Association. I also received the special honor of being inducted into the Phi Chi Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society.

In 2017, I was awarded the honor voted on by my peers from the Massachusetts Dental Society, ' Top Ten under 10'.This awardrecognizes the top dentists who have been in practice under 10 years that have made a significant contribution to the profession, community, and organized dentistry.

I grew up in Hopkintonand I now live in Newton with my husband and son.I am so happy to be able to practice in my hometown community.I love to spend time with my family and friends and Im always up for a trip into Boston! I love to run, bake, try new restaurants, and read. Ive never met a dog I didn't want to play with!

I believe that every person should have a smile that is comfortable, healthy, and that makes them proud. Not every person has the same definition of an ideal smile so I strive to help people identify their goals and then combine them with a plan that also ensures long term health and restorationback to a natural form and function.

Achieving these types of goals requires a different way of looking at dentistry. Medicine has moved away from waiting for a problem to treat and instead has taken a more preventive and early restorative focus. In order to offer this progressive and high quality care, I stay ahead of new advancements in my field by taking extensive hours of continuing education. I also lead a Spear Study Club wherein a selective group of general dentists and specialists meet once a month to discuss cases and learn new techniques. My passion for continued learning and dentistry overall instills an innate drive to provide the highest quality care to each of my patients in a warm and welcoming environment.

I was the first graduate of my dental school to be accepted into the University of Florida's prestigious residency. There, I was introducted to comprehensive dentistry and learned from leaders in the field like Dr. Peter Dawson. Through my residency, I achieved my fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Understanding each facet of implantology, from treatment planning to surgery, has allowed me to hone in on my skills of restoring implants so they look and function naturally in the mouth. My residency heightened my knowledge in each facet of dentistry which better allows me to view treatments comprehensively. The focus in my own practice of treatment has centered around restoring smiles, occlusion (the bite), TMJ, and esthetics.

I have served on numerous dental committees on both a local and national levelincluding a 4 year term as a member of the Academy of General Dentistry's national Scientific Meetings Council and as a past president of Massachusetts AGD constituency. I have also served on the Massachusetts Dental Societys Legislative and Governmental Affairs Committee and the Yankee Dental Congress planning committee. I completed the MDS's Leadership Institute and in 2016, I was selected as one of Massachusetts Dental Societys Ten under 10 Award recipients. My latest passion has been lecturing to both dentists and dental students on a local and national level.

I am a native of Cape Cod, so I was raised (and still survive on) salt air. My husband, our son, and I retreat to the beaches of the Cape as often as we can to be with family and catch one of those gorgeous bayside sunsets. Family and friends are very important to us, so we will look for any sport-related excuse to host for all to gather.

Dr. Govostes received his Bachelors of Science degree from the University of New Hampshire and then went to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he received his dental degree (DMD) and then later his specialty training in periodontology. Dr. Govostes is a Board Certified Periodontist.

Dr. Govostes limits his clinical practice to the field of periodontics which focuses on patient education, as well as the preservation of teeth through various non-surgical and surgical therapy modalities in the treatment of gum diseases (periodontitis), as well as implant dentistry and the treatment of other oral pathologic conditions associated with the mouth. The various services offered, but not limited to, include: reduction of gingival pocketing, cosmetic correction of recession and reconstruction with various gum grafting techniques, removal of hopeless teeth, replacement of missing or hopeless teeth with dental implants, as well the augmentation of bone, which is often times needed for future dental implant placement.

Dr. Govostes is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Massachusetts Society of Periodontics, the Massachusetts Dental society, as well as a member of Delta Sigma Delta organization which is an International Dental Fraternity. Dr. Govostes has served the public by working in community dental clinics in Colorado, as well as volunteering for dental missions to Quito, Ecuador where he treated the underprivileged community. He also serves as a guest lecturer at the Yankee Dental Convention in Boston, MA. Dr. Govostes concerns himself with his patients comfort, relaxation, and education as well as the quality of care he provides.

I have been going to Cornerstone Dental for over 5 years. I can honestly say that the entire staff always makes me feel at home and welcome every time I go there. Most importantly, Dr. Brady is exceptional. I have had some major dental work done and she is always so professional and knowledgeable. Not to mention, her chair-side manner is remarkable. She keeps you informed of what she is doing every step of the way, and always makes sure you are comfortable. I highly recommend Cornerstone Dental Care for your dentistry needs.

Dr Courtney Brady and her staff at Cornerstone Dental are the best. I initially found out about Dr. Brady when I was searching for a great cosmetic dentist to fix my son's broken front tooth 8 years ago. I'm extremely picky and after seeing how beautiful the end result was and how knowledgeable and kind she is, I knew we found our forever dentist. She has been treating myself, my husband and son since ever since and our oral health has been excellent thank to her. Dr Brady makes you feel so comfortable and is so kind and personable that it makes going to the dentist a pleasant experience. She is the best in Boston when it comes to cosmetic dentistry as well as general dentistry. I'm so incredibly grateful I found her years ago.

Always great, friendly, professional. Told me my appointment would be 1.5 hours, and it was that on the money. Love this practice, as much as anyone can love a dentist

I switched to cornerstone dental about 4 years ago from another dentistry and have been amazed with the team as a whole. Becky and Dr. O'Brien have been nothing short of incredible with keeping my smile healthy and providing insight on other mouth care that I wouldn't have received at my previous dental office. Thank you, Cornerstone!
