As far back as I can remember I wanted to be a doctor. When I was in the fourth grade, my best friend and I decided that we were going to be plastic surgeons. Im not really sure why I guess we thought it sounded cool. Honestly, what does a fourth grader even know about plastic surgery? As I got older I had family, friends, and other acquaintances who encouraged me to look into dentistry.

After I graduated from Dunham here in Baton Rouge, I headed north on I-55 to Oxford, MS intent on being a dentist. I had my share of growing pains learning how to be a college student at Ole Miss before a fateful moment in my life occurred during my Junior year which refocused my ambitions and gave me a more clear direction for where I wanted to go with my life. I was a part of the Big Brother program and I noticed that my little brother was being constantly picked on because of his teeth. Then and there it hit me that, although I wasnt destined to be the plastic surgeon I thought I was going to be when I was 10, I could still do something that could have immense long-term physical and psychological effects on people.

Fast forward a couple of years and I entered dental school in 2009 at the LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. I graduated in 2013 and was accepted into the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program at the University of Alabama-Birmingham VA Hospital. I received extensive training in implant placement and restoration. After completion of my year-long course work I moved back to Baton Rouge and began working for Dr. Tom Foster in July of 2014.

Since then my wife, Karen, and I have welcomed two little girls into our lives, Kennedy and Avery Claire. Growing up I always thought I was going to have boys but I figured out quickly I could settle into a girl dad role pretty seamlessly. We took over our practice in February of 2019 and weve been full speed ahead since. Running a practice and chasing around two little ones at home takes up most of our time, we try to travel as often as we can whenever we are able to slip away. Personally Id like to hunt and play golf a little more than I do but weve got a lot going on around here.

Sometimes things dont always work out how you envision them but they always work out for the best. My friends never miss an opportunity to remind me that youre not a real doctor, youre just a dentist but I take immense pride in my position in life and how far I have come. I have been blessed with a beautiful family and the opportunity to aid my community in an immense way.

Heather was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, and raised in Amite, Louisiana. She received her degree in Biology from Southeastern Louisiana University and her Dental Hygiene degree from LSU School of Dentistry. Heather has been practicing since 2005 and has been a member of our team since 2009. She is particularly excited about our commitment to our patients oral health. Heather and her husband, Randy, live in Prairieville with their son, Leonardo. She is an avid runner and competes in fitness competitions and marathons. Other interests include raising and showing pugs and Shih Tzus, working out, and riding her horse. She also enjoys attempting to cook, but the dogs usually end up with dinner!

Regan has been in the dental field since 1997 with extensive dental experience and knowledge of computer systems. She joined our dental team in October of 2013 as our insurance coordinator, and since 2016 she was titled our office Manager. She has been happily married to her high school sweetheart, Josh, since 1997. They have 2 sons, Dylan and Ashton. Regan and her family enjoy raising cattle, hunting, fishing, and any kind of outdoor sports.

Ebonny joined our dental team in June of 2014. She worked as a dental assistant for 6 years prior to earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene in May of 2006. She brings along 14 years of dental experience, which has included teaching dental hygiene, dental materials, and expanded duty dental assisting at LSU School of Dentistry. Ebonny has been married to the love of her life, Boogie, since 2003. They are the proud parents of two incredible sons, Blaze and Linux. She is extremely dedicated to her family and strives to lead by example. Ebonny enjoys volunteering at her church, fishing, reading, gardening, and mostly spending time loving her boys.

Dunia was born in Palestine and raised in Florida. She earned an Associate in Arts Degree from South Florida State College. Dunia and husband Awad re-located to Baton Rouge in 2016. She received her Dental Assistant Certification from Medical Training College and also her Expanded Duty Dental Assistant Certification from LSU. Dunia joined our team in July of 2017. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her family and friends.

Nina has been in the dental field since 1989. She started her career in the Dental field as a Clinical Dental Assistant until 2019, Where she then transitioned to the front desk as Treatment Coordinator. Nina is knowledgeable in the clinical aspects of dentistry of procedure and treatment. With continuing education, she tries to stay on top of new dental treatments. Nina is excited to transition in the office to the front desk as your Treatment Coordinator and will do all she can to help answer any questions you may have. Nina Looks forward to continuing in the dental field in a clerical position.

Nina resides in Krotz Springs after living in Baton Rouge since 1983. She is an avid animal rescuer and is vocal in animal rights. She enjoys the work and care she gives to each animal (Cat) when fostering or rescuing to save a life. Nina also loves LSU Football, working out in the gym, enjoys yard work, and spending quality time with her family.

Laura has been in the dental field since 2009 and joined our dental team in 2018 as our Hygiene Coordinator. She has an Accounting Specialist Certificate from LSU and is knowledgeable in dental insurance and financials.

Laura is a lifetime resident of Ascension parish. She and her husband, David, have been married since 2001. Together they share four sons, Alex, Gavin, Austin, and Philip. She also has three Labrador Retrievers and three cats. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking for her family.

Leah Jane joined our dental team in October 2019. She attended Medical Training College for the dental assistant program & received her expanded duty dental assistant certificate through LSU. Leah was born in Georgia & has been a resident of Louisiana for 25 years. She has 1 son who keeps her very active. In her spare time, Leah & her family enjoy bike rides, backyard football, baseball, and competitive games of basketball when they are not attending LSU basketball games. Some of her past times are attending church, country music concerts, poolside BBQs & crawfish boils.

Holly received her Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry and has been a registered dental hygienist since 2006. While in hygiene school, she received recognition for being compassionate and having excellent management of the pedodontics patient. She is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association. Holly is a lifelong resident of St. James Parish and resides in Paulina, LA with her husband Jason and two children Jerzie and Tyson. When Holly is not in the office you can find her gardening, cooking, and enjoying time with family and friends.
