DR. TYLER DEVAUGHAN WAS BORN AND RAISED IN BINGER, OKLAHOMA. HE ATTENDED THE UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA COLLEGE OF DENTISTRY, AND GRADUATED WITH HONORS IN 2012. DR. devaughan IS A CITIZEN OF THE CHICKASAW NATION, AND FOLLOWING GRADUATION HE WAS PROUD TO PRACTICE GENERAL DENTISTRY FOR THE NATION FOR THREE YEARS. IN 2015, DR. devaughan RETURNED TO ORTHODONTIC RESIDENCY AND EARNED HIS DEGREE IN ORTHODONTICS AND DENTOFACIAL ORTHOPEDICS FROM NOVA SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY IN FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA.
DR. devaughan IS A BIG SUPPORTER OF THE SPECIAL OLYMPICS OF OKLAHOMA, AND HAS VOLUNTEERED AT THE REGIONAL AND STATE GAMES FOR THE PAST 20 YEARS. DR. TYLERS OLDER BROTHER HAS DOWN SYNDROME, AND WAS A COMPETITOR IN THE GAMES GROWING UP. DR. devaughan AND HIS FATHER HAVE HELPED RUN THE STANDING LONG JUMP AT THE STATE GAMES FOR YEARS, AND THE COMRADERY, SPORTSMANSHIP AND SUPPORT THEY HAVE BEEN BLESSED TO BE A PART OF HAVE HELPED SHAPE WHO HE IS AS A PROVIDER.
DR. devaughan, HIS WIFE MELANIE, WHO IS A DENTAL HYGIENIST, AND THEIR DAUGHTER ADALYN LOVE HAVING THE OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE THEIR COMMUNITY IN THEIR HOME STATE OF OKLAHOMA. THEY ENJOY TRAVELING, SPENDING TIME WITH THEIR DOGS, SAMMY, GIBSON AND GUS GUS, AND WATCHING AS MUCH OKLAHOMA SOONER FOOTBALL AS THEY CAN! BOOMER! DR. devaughan IS ALSO AN AVID GUITAR PLAYER AND the combination of his hand skills with attention to detail have only helped make him a better orthodontist. My family loves Core and the whole staff!! Everyone is always very friendly and accommodating (I have a million kids and 4 in braces currently) I wouldn't go anywhere else for orthodontic care. 10 stars, highly recommend

I can't think of any other Orthodontist that I'd rather go to. They have been so wonderful and diligently worked to correct my dental problem. Also when my husband passed they were very compassionate and they didn't have to be but that's part of who Core Orthodontics is. I highly recommend them.
