Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to get to know me. I am the owner and operator of Core Dentistry. With my wife weve built this office to serve our neighboring communities for decades to come. My passions in dentistry are surgery, sedation and cosmetic solutions. I have immense experience with working with children and caring for families. I take pride is trying to stay ahead by taking more than minimum continuing education required and learning new techniques in my free time. Education and learning is very important to me. And I strive to lift up my team members to bring better experience to you.
I was born and raised in the suburbs of Toronto, ON. I moved to the United States at the tender age of 18. I knew dentistry was always a career path for myself. I have numerous family members, including my parents, uncles, aunts, and cousins in the Dental field. I have a knack for science, and am pretty good with my hands. So after college, I decided to pursue dentistry at University at Buffalo. After dealing with my fare share of winters for 26 years I decided it was time for a change. My wife I decided to move to Texas and settle in the Dallas Fort Worth area. My passion for dentistry grew and I decided the best way for me to deliver care was to open my very own practice. I am fortunate to live minutes away from my practice so I can be there for my family and my neighbors.
In my spare time, I enjoy watching movies, playing video and board games, exploring Dallas and exercising. I am also a thrill seeker and outdoors-person. I like adventurous activities such as snowboarding, swimming, rock climbing, and roller coasters. One day I hope to try skydiving, and deep sea diving.
If there is a tooth that has been hurting you and it feels completely broken, a tooth may need to be removed. The removal process consists of full local anesthesia to put the area of your mouth asleep. After this the tooth will be slowly loosened, and removed. Once removed, it will take a few weeks for the hole to close up. We are experienced at removing most problematic teeth.

I'm very impressed with this place. From the first call I made to see if they accept new patients and my insurance to my dental cleaning and exam today, their service was simply amazing. I was checked in by Karen who was very welcoming and checked me in quickly and efficiently. And by the way, their digital form for new patient ask "did you already provide us your insurance information", and when you click yes, it doesn't ask you for that information again. I was very impressed with that minor detail but a great time saving feature for their patients. So back to my in office visit, this is my first visit. Another nice lady called Soleh did my x-ray, and vitals. She's genuinely nice. Dr. Kou was very thorough with my exam and the cleaning was very gentle and effective. Dr. Lou was so gentle (no numbing agent btw) that I wondered if he was cleaning my teeth. But the proof is in the pudding because when he was done, my teeth were very clean. I didn't feel a single discomfort much more pain which is a first for me with dental cleaning. Also, noticeable is that Dr. Lou does the dental cleaning himself. I've not had a dentist do my cleaning in a very long time, the prior dentists I visited had a dental hygienist do the cleaning. I prefer the dentist doing my cleaning. Also, they did not try to sell me anything at all which is a marked difference with other dental offices I've visited in the past. Also the office is very clean, organized, warm and welcoming. Everyone was very professional, genuinely nice and great at what they do. I'm a very happy new patient and so are my teeth. Thank you.

Dr. Dan and his team are phenomenal and make you feel comfortable as soon as you arrive. Dr. Dan takes time to meet with you to discuss any issues or concerns you have and engages you in treatment planning beforehand. I highly recommend him and his team for your family's dental needs!

Recently moved to Frisco and found Dr. Daniel Kuo from an Ad. I went in and saw him for an overall dental health consult and cleaning. From the moment I walked in to the time I left, I felt like I had known them forever including staff. He truly cares about your concerns and makes sure you are comfortable and satisfied. Great Dentist! Great staff! Clean and organized facility too! I also booked my son and husband an appointment too.

As most of us hate going to The dentist. I must say I have had such an amazing experience at Core Dentistry. The office is nice and very clean, the staff are so professional and caring. Dr. Dan has such a caring spirit, he Let's you know everything going on step by step, and will not let you out of his chair until he feels everything is perfect. I lost my job after visiting Core Dentistry and later found out my insurance did not cover some of the cost. Core Dentistry not only responded in a highly professional and immediate manner, they worked with me on the payment. Would recommend to anyone. The practice is top notch and family owned and it sure feels that way.
