Dr. Cordell Lake is a local Farmington resident, but grew up in a small town north of Rolla and has lived all around Missouri. He attended Central Methodist University in Fayette where he received his Bachelors of Science in Biology. He went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Missouri Kansas City. Dr. Lakes interest in dentistry began when he was a child, as his mother has been a dental assistant for over 20 years; his love for dentistry grew as he began to further realize the immediate and positive impact a dentist can make on a patients health. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Missouri Dental Association. Aside from dentistry, he enjoys reading, traveling, hunting, fishing, all things sports and spending time with his wife, Melissa, and their two Miniature Australian Shepherds (Riley and Ava).
Dr. Cordell Lake is proud to continue the strong lineage of dentists who have served Farmington in this same building. Dr. Lake took over the practice from Dr. Tim OBryan, who purchased the office from Dr. Waller in 2008. The office was originally started in the early 1970s by Dr. Schaper.
Erica is a registered dental hygienist that has been with the practice since 2010. She graduated from Forest Park Community College with her Dental Hygiene degree in 2005. Erica was born and raised in Farmington and still resides here with her husband Curt. They have two kids Harley and Laney. Erica enjoysspending time with friends and family.
Emily is a registered dental hygienist that has been with the practice since graduating from Missouri College with her dental hygiene degree in 2014. Emily lives in Festus with her husband Chris, her step daughter Kylee, and her three boys (Tyler, Tanner, and Shay).
Emily also has two dogs; a miniature schnauzer named Samson and a goldendoodle named Murphy. When Emily is not spending time with her family, she enjoys indoor cycling and following her kids in their extracurricular activities.
Wendy has been a dental assistant with this practice since 1995. She worked in a dental lab and for an orthodontist prior to this office. She is married to her husband Jeff and has three children, Whitley, Jasper, and Vivian. Wendy enjoys the outdoors, landscaping and spending time as a family.
Rachel was born and raised in Park Hills and has been with the practice since 1995. She began as a chair-side assistant, but has sincemoved to the front office. Rachel is married with two kids, Tyler and Lauren, and two grandkids, Oliver and Roland. She enjoys reading, shopping and spending time with her family.
Michelle has been a dental assistant since 2000 and has been with the practice since 2012. She has one older brother and was born and raised on a small farm in Bonne Terre; shes also a North County graduate! Michelle and her husband, Justin, have one son named Cooper. She enjoys the outdoors and spending timewith her family and friends.
Melissa takes care of the marketing and IT needs of the office, as well as some office management duties. She grew up in Columbia and graduated from the University of Missouri Columbia in 2011 with a Bachelors of Science in Information Technology. She enjoys traveling, cooking and staying active. Melissa is married to Dr. Lake and they have two dogs (Riley and Ava).

We can treat a variety of traumatic dental injuries, including teeth that have been chipped, moved, or knocked out entirely; if at all possible, we provide same-day services to remedy the underlying issue.
