A native Texan, Dr. Locke was born and raised in Waco. He attended Southern Methodist University(SMU) for his undergraduate studies, before going on to earn his doctorate of dental science (DDS) from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1985. He completed a general practice residency program at the Olin E. Teague Veterans Center in Temple, Texas prior to opening his private practice in Woodway in 1986. Dr. Locke has focused his studies on advanced restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry, as well as TMJ therapy. He has studied at the world-renowned Pankey Instituteand the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, where he has gained an in-depth understanding of comprehensive dentistry, as well as TMJ diagnostics and treatment.
The most rewarding aspect of Dr. Lockes career as a general dentist comes from helping fearful patients achieve optimal oral health through sedation dentistry. Hes been following the latest oral-systemic health research that links gum disease to heart disease, diabetes, pregnancy complications, and more. A firm believer in prevention and early diagnosis, Dr. Locke strives to give every patient a healthy smile that they can enjoy for a lifetime.

Additionally, for your protection, we have added air purification systems to each patient treatment room. The air, which is turned over every 5 minutes, is filtered and treated with ultraviolet (UV) light. We have also installed UV lights in our air conditioning system because the light is known to kill mold, bacteria and viruses.
We know that maintaining your dental health is important as oral health impacts an individuals resistance to bacterial and viral infections. We are here to serve you, and we are also available to answer any of your concerns and questions.

Dr. Locke has been my dentist now for 17 years and Melody my hygienist for about 12 years. The both of them make my time at the dentist a pleasure. Melody works wonders when cleaning my teeth, taking x-rays, and is friendly and professional everytime we meet. Dr. Locke does awesome work and keeps my teeth in great shape. The practice is always so clean and has a very calm atmosphere. I recommend Dr. Locke as your family dentist if you're looking.

Dr. Locke and his staff are wonderful. A few years ago and in order to save a tooth, Dr. Locke perform what I would call heroic dentistry and with great success. I recently broke a couple of teeth in a fall just before going on vacation. Dr. Locke and Breanna came into the office on a Saturday to get me "fixed up". I could not believe the results. Very special people in that office. Everyone of them.
