Prosthodontists are highly efficient in the use of advanced technology and state-of-the-art dental techniques to treat complex dental conditions and know how to correctly perform cosmetic dentistry, bridges, dentures, crowns, implant & implant restorations, full-mouth reconstructions on teeth and implants (ie: the All-on-4 method), and sleep apnea devices.

Born in Miami, Dr. Laura J. Davila attended high school at Palmer Trinity School and earned her B.S. in psychology and religion from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She subsequently received her D.D.S. from the Indiana University School of Dentistry. Her post-doctoral training included a two-year general practice residency at Weill Cornell Medical University-New York Presbyterian Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident, and trained through Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Davila then completed a prosthodontic residency at the Manhattan Veterans Administration Hospital New York Health Harbor Center, where she served as Chief Resident, earned her Certificate in Prosthodontics, and received didactic training at New York University College of Dentistry.
She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics & Fellow of the Academy of Prosthodontics, a distinction awarded to fewer than 1,500 practitioners worldwide. Dr. Davila is currently an attending at the Manhattan Veterans Administration Hospital and worked in private practice in Manhattan for several years. Her research on the accuracy of torque wrenches and zygomatic implant therapy and has been published in the Otolaryngolic Clinic of North American and the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry.
Dr. Davila offers a personalized approach to dentistry ensuring the patients overall health and needs are met. She is most passionate about the opportunity to transform her patients confidence through a beautiful smile. Dentistry is an intimate relationship, thus trust is of the ultimate importance. My ideal patient is a collaborator in their dental care.
Dr. Davila is thrilled to be back in her native habitat, Miami. In her free time, youll find her spending on the water, running along the waterline, traveling to ski around the world, experimenting in the kitchen, and enjoying her big family of 16 (and counting!). She also speaks three languages: English, Spanish, and French.
Dr. Cristina Osorio attended high school at Miami Country Day School followed by the University of Miami (Florida) where she graduated with a BS in Business Administration. She went on to earn her four-year DDS and three-year Advanced Prosthodontic Residency at New York University College of Dentistry. At NYU College of Dentistry, Dr. Osorio was a Fixed Prosthodontics Teaching Assistant and focused her research on the subject of patients perception of prosthodontics. Dr. Osorio continues to take postdoctoral courses and is a member of the American College of Prosthodontics, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and Association of Innovative Dentistry.
Forming part of the Coral Gables Dentistry team, Dr. Osorio brings her experience from working in a prosthodontics practice in West Palm Beach. She is a strong believer that the intricacies of her patients smiles are best understood by an artistic eye paired with a relationship-based approach to restoring the function and appearance of teeth.
After various grounds, ranging from Colombia to California to New York City, Dr. Osorio is delighted to plant both feet in a familiar place she considers home. She is fluent in Spanish and English and devoted to mentoring underprivileged women in the South Florida area. In her spare time, Dr. Osorio is often seen dining with a stunning panoramic view, glued to the TV cheering on Miami sports, or wrapping up a weekend watching the sunset with family and friends. And finally, Dr. Osorio strongly encourages her patients to share with her the cultural goings-on taking place in the neighborhood.

Rather odd to say that I actually enjoy my dental cleanings, but it's true. The music, the warm neck pillow, the gorgeous scenic photo on the ceiling--it all takes me to a relaxed and happy place, and I'm almost reluctant to leave the chair!

The eyes may be 'windows to the soul', However a sparkling smile speaks volumes! Dental hygiene is primo not just for physical esthetic, also for good health. New to the area, one of my priorities was to find a dental practice with whom I could entrust my teeth. Researching Google plus a spontaneous visit to the location, I walked into bright welcoming smiles at the front desk. Manager Gina and Linda were informative, patient, and friendly while responding to my many questions. Immediately I booked an appointment. The professionalism of the entire team work together to create a stress-less experience. Dr. Davila knows her stuff. Already booked my next appointment. SMILE....

I moved to Miami four years ago and it's taken me this long to find a dentist that I love. From the time you call into their office and receive a direct response (and not a call center), you start to experience their warm hospitality. When you visit for the first time, one of the first things you notice is the rows of orchids on the trees and on site parking. From there you check in and are greeted by a beautiful salt water fish tank. The hygienist is wonderful at making sure you're as comfortable as possible and the dentists are professional. A dentist trip is never something to really rave about, but I'm so excited I found this place and am definitely recommending Coral Gables Dentistry to all my friends!

The staff does such an amazing job making you feel comfortable: warming neck pillow, ipod for music, nitrous, numbing cream. Even if you haven't been to the dentist in a while, Coral Gables Dentistry always goes the extra mile to make the experience less stressful and help patients feel at ease. Highly recommend.
