Dr. Rice is native to Traverse City. He attended and graduated from Traverse City West SeniorHigh School in 2001.He then moved toTennessee where he pursued his dental passion and graduated from the Universityof Tennessee College of Dentistry in 2010.It was always a goal to return back home after completing his education. Since2011, Dr. Rice has been practicing dentistry in Traverse City. He is a member of the Resort District Dental Society, Michigan Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Board Member of the Registered Dental Assisting Program at Northwestern Michigan College.He is also a member of the Michigan Army National Guard.

I started with Dr. Rice in 2011 as the office manager. My background in banking and management was a good fit to take on this role. I thoroughly enjoy bringing our team together and seeing them each day!Dr. Rice is my husband and he has always wanted to move back home, so here we are! We have one son, named Warren, and many animals we love.

Carmen moved back to the area in August 2015 and has worked at Copper Ridge Dental since.The best part of my job is not only discussing and educating my patients on their home care but also connecting with them at a personal level. Julia is originally from Manistee, she moved to Interlochen in 2011 and graduated from Northwestern Michigan College in 2015. She enjoys returning back to her hometown for fun-filled family gatherings.

Expensive, very poor follow-up, little communication, doesn't address complaints directly one on one, if you have an issue you can expect a text message from the staff. Extremely poor customer service. Hours are short, 4 days a week till 4pm, and office is closed one hour each day for lunch making an appointment or even a phone call very difficult for some, nice work schedule for them I guess. DDS Rice is a nice guy personally, I like him, with that said I can NOT recommend this practice. A patient for over 2 years now and sadly spent many thousands of dollars here. My wife and I will spend our money elsewhere. Sad because the office is close to us and the facility is reasonably nice.

Dr. Feeney is all about doing things "excellently". He is passionate about the science as well as the people side of dentistry! Dr. Feeney keeps up to date on the latest, most effective dental techniques, to make sure any "repairs" last as long as possible and with a minimum of discomfort. He also takes extra time and extra steps to ensure your comfort. Two examples - he uses as much pain control as you need and takes the time to inject it slowly so the numbing process isn't uncomfortable, and for fillings he uses two layers of something between the tooth and the filling to lessen sensitivity to heat and cold in the restored tooth. Also, the staff makes sure you have a blanket to keep you calm and comfortable, and unless you don't want to know, Dr. Feeney explains what he is doing each step of the way. He also takes pride in the "art" of restoring a tooth as close as possible to its original condition, making sure the chewing surfaces match smoothly with the opposing teeth. My son recently had two teeth extracted at the recommendation of his orthodontist. Dr. Feeney did the job so quickly and painlessly that when the second tooth was out, my son said, "He's done already?" I was watching the whole time and it was a very gentle process. Dr. Feeney relates well to kids and adults, and expects the best out of his staff as well. We have been very satisfied patients.

Dr. Brian Feeney recommended that I get an NTI for the nightly grinding and clenching of my teeth. I am so glad that I did! After having it for over a year, I would not be without it! I never realized how many past headaches and how much previous neck pain was due to the clenching and grinding that was happening when I slept. I no longer have the discomfort of the headaches and neck pain using the NTI, which adds so much to my quality of life. Thank you Dr. Feeney!!
