Dr. Seth Stockton was born in Albuquerque, NM. He attended the University of California San Diego and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering. He then went on to attend Nova Southeastern University School of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, FL where he received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine.
While a student, he met Dr. Erin Stockton, and they were married in Wisconsin one week after graduating dental school. Upon completion of dental school, Dr. Seth was commissioned into the United States Air Force as a Captain. He served the military at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, NE where he received his Advanced Education in General Dentistry. He was then stationed at Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene, TX and completed a short course in Periodontics at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX.
He and Dr. Erin welcomed their first daughter, Ryan, in 2013 and decided it was time to get some roots, so they moved back to Albuquerque, NM in July 2014. Later that year, they welcomed their second daughter, Avery. Now that Drs. Seth and Erin have settled down in Albuquerque, they enjoy spending time with family, tackling new projects with their home, exploring New Mexico and making occasional trips back to Wisconsin to visit Dr. Erins family.
Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Dr. Erin Stockton received her Bachelor of Science degree from Marquette University in the Biological Sciences. She minored in Theater Arts. She then attended Nova Southeastern University School of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where she received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine. It was during dental school that she met her husband, Dr. Seth Stockton, and they married one week after graduation.
Dr. Erin went on to complete a General Practice Residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE and at the Veterans Administration Nebraska-Western Iowa. From there, she and Dr. Seth moved to Abilene, TX where Dr. Seth was stationed at Dyess Air Force Base and Dr. Erin worked in private practice.
In July 2014, they moved to Albuquerque, NM to be reunited with family. Drs. Seth and Erin now live in Albuquerque where they are raising their two daughters, Ryan and Avery. They enjoy spending their time with family, taking on new projects with their house, exploring New Mexico and making occasional trips back to Wisconsin to visit Dr. Erins family. Dr. Erin has accumulated over 350 credits in continuing education since graduating from dental school and is working toward achieving her fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. She has served in the House of Delegates for the New Mexico Dental Association and has volunteered her time for the New Mexico Mission of Mercy.
When patients ask why she became a dentist, Dr. Erin explains that it has been her life mission to bring light into the world, to help people in need, and to take care of others. In dentistry, there are a lot of fears, and she works hard to help patients feel comfortable getting the care they need.
We are now located in our new location where Drs. Seth and Erin Stockton can practice together. Patients from both of our previous locations will now be seen in our new facility. We are excited to be able to take care of our patients in a modern setting that offers more private rooms, additional staff, and conveniences that come with having more providers available. By combining our two offices into one, we can offer greater flexibility in scheduling, see emergencies faster and give you more options on which provider you see.

This new location is very close to each of our previous offices, so don't worry, your drive to us will be almost exactly the same! You are going to love this brand new facility!
As Drs. Seth and Erin Stockton met with various Albuquerque dentists who were preparing for retirement, they knew it was important to find someone who had built strong relationships with patients through the years. That legacy of quality care, trust and loyalty means a lot, and can sometimes to be hard to find in our modern world.
When they met Dr. Thomas Lynch, and Dr. Jeffrey Supple, there was something unique about the practices that both of these doctors built. There was a quality about them that meshed well with the philosophy of Drs. Seth and Erin. When generations within a family grow up within a practice, there is family-focus to all that is done, and that has always been a driving force for Drs. Seth and Erin.
After years of practicing dentistry in Boston, Santa Fe and Albuquerque, he has transitioned his practice over to Drs. Seth and Erin Stockton and retired from dentistry in December 2015. He practiced at a location that had a long legacy of dentistry: Dr. Isaacson practiced there for many years until his retirement, followed by Dr. Supple for 13 years. Drs. Seth and Erin Stockton are excited to be a part of that legacy in our community and have plans to continue providing that great standard of care to patients.
Dr. Lynch practiced dentistry in Albuquerque, NM for nearly 40 years. He spent months working with Drs. Seth and Erin Stockton to ensure that his practice would smoothly transition over to their hands. He took care of his patients, and their children and grandchildren, over the course of his career, and many of these patients became personal friends of the Lynchs. These types of life-long relationships are what drew Drs. Seth and Erin to his practice, and this is the legacy that they have continued to build.

I have been a patient of Dr. Erin Stockton for many years and she is a fantastic dentist. The team at Copper Canyon is professional and the facilities and equipment are top notch.

The hygienist (whose name I regrettably forgot) was very cool and had a good manner that put me at ease. She did a great job communicating my problem areas to me and giving clear advice on how to address them. I really appreciated that Dr. Erin gave her positive feedback on her work when I was in the room. I try to make it a point to patronize businesses and service providers that treat their employees well. It also inspired confidence that the hygienist did good work. The front desk staff was very nice too. Overall very happy and will be back.

I've been going to this office for almost 20 years and wasn't sure what to expect from the new dentists when Dr. Lynch retired. I'm happy to report that Dr. Erin and Dr. Seth Stockton are providing even BETTER care than before. (No offense to Dr. Lynch - they're just really exceptionally great!) I needed to have a filling done and Dr. Erin Stockton got me in the very next day. I had to be numb for the procedure and was a bit nervous, but didn't feel a thing. I especially liked the new, high-tech camera Dr. Stockton uses, which was able to show me before and after photos of the decay. My parents and my husband are also patients of Drs. Seth and Erin Stockton and they've had nothing but praise for the dentists and staff as well. Update: I love the cosmetic dentistry services this office provides. My smile has never looked better!

I did not feel the shot and I did not feel any of the cavity removal. Post op was excellent as well. The filling was not out of occlusion and there is no sensitivity after the anesthetic wore off. I rate the whole experience five stars out of five stars. Dr. Erin and staff are professional and courteous. I have referred my Mom and Sister to Dr. Erin and if you are looking for an excellent experience, look no further.

On 3/18/22 my wife and I again visited with Dr. Erin Stockton and with Dental Assistant Christie Baca-Garcia. Both of these ladies as well as the other office personnel were very professional, caring, and friendly. I've been living in Abq eleven years now and this the best place to be when Dental work is needed. Ray

I thought I had found the perfect dentist thanks to my daughter's recommendation. Come to find out they are only there for the money and they don't mind being unethical to get it. My daughter, who is a frontline healthcare worker, had to cancel an appointment on short notice due to exposure to covid. Even though the person she spoke to said it would be fine, unbeknownst to her they charged her not one missed appt fee but two. When she arrived for her next appt she found this out and was treated very rudely when she questioned it. They said since she was having two things done at the missed appt that counted as two appts so they could charge her twice. I guess they would've preferred she come in and expose them to covid. Or maybe it was just a chance to take in money for doing nothing. Either way you should be warned that this office has no ethics, no morals and no concern for their patients.

Routine cleaning, very through. Melissa is very good. And explained every step. There is a problem that has been monitored for years, and Dr. Erin carefully explained the proceedings Staff is excellent
