Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.

An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.

Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

Edit: In the 5 years since I posted this review, the staff has almost completely turned over. I can no longer recommend this place.

Most comfortable I've felt at a dentist in a long time. Super friendly staff, gentle care and took time to explain treatments and procedures. Availability of appointments is great. Definitely recommend this facility.

Over the last few years it took 3 tries with 3 different dentists until I found this location. The entire staff is warm, caring, prompt, efficient AND they've done an excellent job on several dental procedures. I highly recommend Coppell Modern Dentistry.

I have changed my mind about this office. This office has just one hygienist. The last time I had a periodontal cleaning done by her, I thought she was rushed for some reason and did a shoddy job. When I reported that to the office, they would not admit she did anything wrong but in fact insisted that she did a great job! When I returned to the office for the next cleaning, this hygienist refused to attend to me because I had criticized her after the previous visit. The dentist then very politely advised me that I could no longer continue in that office since he had only one hygienist and he could not force her to clean my teeth. So I should go elsewhere. Bottom line - I have never seen a hygienist dictate to the dental office whose teeth she would or would not clean and a patient being let go because a hygienist was averse to criticism. Hence, I can no longer recommend this office. Modern office. Friendly receptionists. Responsive Operations Manager. Great hygienist. Highly qualified dentists. I had a highly positive experience with this business and I will unequivocally recommend this facility to everyone in this area. The above was from a year ago. More recently I had to have a root canal and a crown which was performed by Victoria Tountas (Endodontist) and Shinan Guo (Dentist). Everything went perfectly well and I was completely fine the following day without having to take any antibiotics or painkillers. Once again I had very positive experience with the rest of the people in this office, in particular, Laura Vasquez (Office Manager), Aunnica Zacca, and Rashmi Ravi (Front Desk), Hiba Ansari (Dental Assistant), and Jessica Lang (Hygienist), Based on my experience, I would recommend this office unequivocally.

One if the worst place to go for ur dental issues. I needed to extract a tooth. The produce they were telling me to do was totally unnecessary and not required at all. I have many dentist in my family and they all said it is not necessary. They insisted to do the procedure otherwise they would not extract the tooth. I have never gone to a doctor office like it.

One of the worst dental office in town. They wanted to do a procedure which was not necessary at all. I would have to spend $ 500 from my pocket to do it. The procedure they were asking do was Bone graft which is totally a fraud by the dental industry.

Finding a dentist is always a chore. I had a previous dentist that completely took advantage of me. They are a chain and I should have known I would just be a dollar sign to them. Luckily I found Coppell Modern Dentistry. To start, the online pre-registration is a life saver. I hate filling out forms and this saved me from all that first visit stress. I was greeted when I walked in and explained the services up front as well as what my insurance covered. I waited in the lobby about 10 minutes when an absolute ray of sunshine (Harper aka Lauren) took me back for my x-rays and prep. Absolute super star and exactly the type of person you need your clients meeting first. In the procedure room I met my dentist Yusufali. She was very professional and was easy to talk to. She listened to concerns and checked out items I wanted looked at. She knew the issue spot before it left my mouth. Very good at her job. Next the money person came to see me and walked me through cost and confirmed if I wanted to proceed and when. I got it done same day. I only had a previous cavity that was filled that seemed a little off and needed some attention and a regular cleaning. Services were done well and professionally. I used to love the dentist and I let one bad experience keep me away for 6 years. I'm glad I finally took the leap and landed at Coppell Modern Dentistry. Can't wait for my 6 month check up!

* FINALLY got over my reluctance and went to another dentist office in town to have my teeth cleaned and come up with a plan to fix my broken tooth and the one next to it that I originally went to Coppell Modern Dentistry for treatment. The staff couldn't understand why the filling would leak UNLESS the dentist messed up the root canal procedure! Now I have a dentist who works with me and we have a plan to go forward. Coppell Modern Dentistry has a bad reputation around town. PLEASE go to a reputable dentist that's been around for awhile. Even if it's not "in network" almost all the dentists have their own plans to help you with costs! Your teeth are important to your overall health! Do your research & go with a dentist who will work with you, NOT dictate what needs to be done. The front office girl was nice enough, however, to go in and be assured that my cracked tooth COULD be saved with a root canal and a crown and then told AFTER she was through with the root canal that there was a leak and the filling was going to spill out. I was then told I'd have to have an implant, which my insurance doesn't pay for. I sat there for most of an afternoon, feeling like I was going to drown from all the water and THEN you basically, said, "Opps! Uh oh. " I had to ask them to PLEASE at least put a layer of composite over the tooth that had the "root canal". Fast forward to last week when the tooth next to the "root canal" broke off at work and the "root canal" tooth is cracked. I'm seeing a different dentist tomorrow. Beware of the "bait and switch"!

Had a terrible experience with this office from the hygenist Jessica. took me a few mins to understand and sink in. Upon trying to discuss the situation with office manager Laura and the doctor owner - Dr. Shinan Guo, no response! Without sharing specific details, I believe this office is money hungry, mis-treating patients, providing extremely poor service and no bed side manners. The specific complaint is with Texas Board of Dental Examiners so will need to follow process and exercise patience but to whoever it concerns, please look for another place and learn from this experience. It's not worth it. The staff and the doctors simply recommend un-necessary treatments and no clue on how to communicate with patients. Looks like Dr. Guo put together this office in a hurry and without acknowledging these issues and working on improvements, this practice is doomed as people wont come back. The first step is acknowledgement and making people feel heard which means responding back to them. also when you sit in the chair for getting dental treatment, anyone parking or on the street can see you and it is extremely uncomfortable . would be so simple to simply put curtains up

I visited this clinic for the annual exam. Doctor diagnosed some dental issues. But when I asked for regular cleaning covered in the annual, they declined it. I had asked them to go ahead with regular cleaning first as I don't want to get the treatment done right now. Isn't it the patient's choice to decide the doctor/clinic from where to get the treatment. As some reviews indicated they try to make money instead of understanding the situation.

One of the best dental experiences I've encountered. I visited with Dr. Stephen Mathew for an emergent filling. He was very gentle, understanding and highly informative. I felt seen and comprehend as a patient as he took his time answering all of my dental and health questions and concerns. Definitely one of the best dentist I've seen! Highly recommend

I have enjoyed my experience thus fare with my dentist and the assistants are awesome, no problem. But, I have been here twice- once for a filling ($250), then instead they suggest a root canal and crown ($2500). Ok, fine, I will agree they used their best judgement to help me and they got me in immediately when I had pain, and I appreciate that Then I go for a simple cleaning (no issues with any teeth/no pain), instead I walk out with no cleaning given and now needing over $1,400 of major work and a $700 specialty cleaning recommended. (I had a cleaning 6 months ago at another place, no major issues mentioned by the dentist). Never had such issues with my teeth with other dentists, hopefully this place is being truthful with the care needed, and not trying to make money off random procedures. Going elsewhere for a second opinion before I spend $2,000 again. Maybe they are being truthful, but I do not have $2,500 to spent and really don't want to get a loan for the money.. We'll see how it goes...

Today, I'm in the office to do a crown on my teeth ( yellow top Big Teeth) but the problem teeth has not been sharpened to get ready for a crown, and the teeth(small white teeth) next to it has been taken sharpen off, and now the good teeth needs a new crown, and the problem teeth is still there. What a work!!! Dr. Street pointed the problem teeth to me in the picture from their computer in the prior appointment, which the yellow area is largely appeared, and that tooth becomes sensitive, the recommended treatment is crowned it. Now a good tooth is half gone, and it needs a crown, and the problem teeth still has not been touched. What is the recommendation to deal this problem? Can anyone help me? I'd like to update this, this dentist modern dentistry did not refund me the charges they charged me for sharpening the wrong teeth, I went to other dentist for putting the crown in the wrong teeth. As ironic as it was, that week Dr. Street went to Austin capitole to do testimony.
