Jan originates from Kansas. She grew up spending after school hours helping her father in his general dentistry practice in Winfield. After completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Wichita State University, she and her husband moved to north Texas and started their family. Jan has been actively practicing dental hygiene in the Denton, Lewisville, Coppell area since 1980 with the last 8 years in Coppell. Her years of experience have included patients of all ages and needs, with special emphasis on periodontal health. Jan is known for maintaining excellent rapport with patients and enjoys making everyone feel comfortable during their visit to our Coppell family dentist. When not in the office, one might see her riding her bike around the local trails or planning her next travel adventure.
Hello, My name is Susan, I was born and raised In Texas. I have 25 years experience as a Registered Dental Assistant. I am proud to serve every patient with respect and care as if they were my own family. My goal is to always give that perfect patient experience as to when a patient leave the dental chair, they are left feeling at eased and pleasantly surprised from their visit. The best part of my job is being able to connect with patients by utilizing dental technology and providing dental education to improve their dental health. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my significant other, my two adult sons and my lovely grand-daughter and grandson!
Hello, my name is Vyra and I am a Registered Dental Assistant with over 15 years experience in the dental field. Besides sitting chair side assisting Dr. Holovnia, my main goal is to assure our guests comfort. The best part of my job is getting to meet new people, hearing their stories, and seeing them smile after every visit. I make it my priority to keep myself informed and trained in todays rapidly growing dental industry so that you can get the most positive experience at your dental visit. Outside of work, I spend quality time with my 11-year-old son and our 1-year-old Goldendoodle. I enjoy HIIT workouts, hiking, going to church, cooking, and reading a good book. One of my favorite quotes that has guided me personally and professionally is, I have learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel -Maya Angelou. Dr. Holovnia is outstanding. Most Dentists usually come in for the last two minutes but he made a point to introduce himself early on. He walked through each x-ray with me and was incredibly thorough. At times I forgot I was even at the dentist. I did not feel rushed and was able to address my concerns, treatment plan questions, etc. I would recommend Dr. H and the CFD to anyone. I am looking forward to my follow up visits. Jared H.
Dr. Andrew Holovnia was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota where he completed his undergraduate degree in biology. He moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine as one of the top students in his class. Following his graduation, Dr. Holovnia practiced dentistry in Tampa, FL.
In his spare time, our Coppell family dentist enjoys staying up-to-date on the latest trends in dentistry by being an active member in continuing education organizations such as the Spear study club and the Irving dental study club. He also is involved in church and community volunteer programs as well as staying physically active, enjoying activities such as golfing, fishing, and running.
The awarding of Fellowship status is an honor in which professional societies such as the AAIP bestow on a dental professional involved in dental implant treatment. AAIP Fellowship status is obtained through efforts in education, research, and actual hands-on clinical experience.

I went for cleaning and followup appointment and it was a great experience right from the time I stepped in the lobby till I came out. The entire staff made my experience more relaxing and making the patient more comfortable. I will definitely recommend Coppell Family Dentistry to my friends and family.

Undoubtedly the best dental-related experience i've ever had. From the first day I visited this office I've felt as though I've been cared for and treated like family. Nevertheless, my teeth have been in perfect condition since visiting! Dr. Holovnia is very knowledgeable, friendly, and personable. Coppell Family Dentistry makes you feel at home! I used to get anxiety about going to the dentist, but it's when I started coming here things changed. They make sure you're cared for and is the best practice around -- highly recommend!

2022: It's not the same. Now that Dr. Bennett and her staff is gone, it isn't the same place. I had to find someone else to fix multiple mistakes. (1star*) 2018: "Family Dentistry" at Dr. Bennett's office means treating you like family. The entire staff is friendly and caring. Dr. Bennett and the hygienists do an exceptional job diagnosing, treating and maintaining healthy smiles. The staff also works hard with dental insurance to make sure my family gets the most services covered by insurance.(5 stars*****)

My first visit at CFD was Amazing! I walked into the office and was greeted with a new patient Welcome sign! I was seen quickly. The dental hygienist was very thorough and informative. Dr. Holovnia was wondering and genuinely cared for the health of my teeth! This was a 10/10 Experience.

Went for a checkup and had to do a filling. After getting the filling done, the surface was left rough and floss would get stuck on the edges of the filling. I went to get it sanded down but it barely changed anything and i was told they might need to redo the filling which might involve more bone loss. So i was just told to wait for a couple weeks to see how i felt with it. I phoned back after two weeks to explain that it wasnt doing it for me and to book an appointment,but the person never phoned back. I went to another dentist and they got the filling done within 15 mins with no need to redo the filling or anything. Tldr: bad service and bad filling

Delightful staff who really care about one's dental health. Thorough cleaning and detailed exam. One is never rushed. They are always ready to answer my questions. Highly recommend. That's what I said last time, and I still feel that way. Lovely experience at this office. Welcoming front staff, terrific hygienist Jan who is patient with all my questions and fun to chat with during her very thorough care, and Dr. Hovlovian's scrupulous and detailed exam of my teeth. VERY happy I am a patient at this excellent office.
