Originally from a small town in West Texas, Dr. Heath graduated Magna Cum Laude from Abilene Christian Universitywith a degree in biology. He then received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery on a Health Professions Military Scholarship from the prestigious Baylor College of Dentistry. As a Captain in the United States Air Force, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Scott Air Force Base outside St. Louis. He practiced for three years as a general dentist at Misawa AB, Japan, including a one-year pediatric dentistry rotation. Lieutenant Colonel Copeland currently serves as a USAF Reservist for the 302ASTS out of Peterson SFB, Colorado Springs.
Dr. Amy takes her time to get to know each and every patient one on one, giving them the undivided attention that they deserve. Her gentle and caring style reflects how much she enjoys her work as a dentist.

Just as Dr. Heath, she is proud to have served as a Captain in the United States Air Force completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency and three years as a general dentist in Japan.

Cathy has been in the dental field for more than 35 years, starting with this practice in 1984! She started out as a certified dental assistant then a year later went on to get her Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) certificate. After assisting for more than 15 years, Cathy began at the front desk a few days a week along with her clinical work. The rest is history! After 30+ years with this practice, she now runs the front desk and helps outs in the back when she can.
Cathy and her husband, Tom, have been married for over 35 years and have two beautiful girls. Both of her daughters live in Colorado and have blessed her with two beautiful grandchildren and another on the way. Cathy is thoroughly enjoying being a Nana to Tommy, Savannah, anticipating the arrival of baby Zachary and excited to announce another grandchild on the way. She is very invested in her health and can be found strength training in the gym with Tom.
Nina moved here from Wisconsin in 1998. She has worked in the dental field for over 20 years now, starting in a front office position, next hygiene assisting, then getting her assisting/EDDA certification. Her insatiable appetite to continue to learn and passion to help people led her to make the switch to becoming a dental hygienist and has just over 13 years practicing dental hygiene. She is an empathetic compassionate caregiver who looks forward to building long relationships with you and your families.
Nina is married and has two young active boys that keep her busy!! She loves the outdoors-hiking, snowboarding, running, spending time with her family and friends and practicing yoga in her free time. Many of you already know Nina as she has been with the practice longer than the Copelands-she filled in for Dr. Countryman for many years! We are so excited to have her here in the office fulltime!
Trisha is a Colorado native from Arvada. She earned a bachelors degree in biology from Lindenwood University in Missouri, hoping to one day continue on to dental school. After having two beautiful girls, she decided being a mom was what she was meant to do, but Trisha still loves the dental field. She has been a dental assistant/EDDA since 2001.
Jill has been in the dental field sense 2011. For the past 7 years she had been working as a dental assistant (CDA/EDDA) at a pediatric dental office. Jills goal is to make coming to the dentist easy. she wants to be a friendly face to make you feel comfortable no matter what you need to have done. Jill is very excited to expand her knowledge of all types of dentistry and cant wait to meet you. Jill is a Colorado native! She has one sister and three brothers that she loves to go snowboarding and hiking with. She loves to go to yoga or barre with her mom and fishing with her dad. Jill also loves spending time with her boyfriend and their dog, Juniper. She loves all things outdoor and is always looking for an excuse to be outside!
Bayley was born and raised in South Texas and graduated from dental hygiene school in Corpus Christi, Texas. She has a miniature pinscher named Poppy and they going on adventures together. She loves Crossfit, hiking, camping, climbing, and plans on learning to snowboard this winter.
Monique is a Colorado native and loves everything Colorado almost as much as being in dentistry! Monique has been in dentistry for 15 years and has worked as an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant in general dentistry, pediatrics, endodontics, periodontics and is also well versed working the front office. She was our assistant here at Copeland Family Dental before deciding to go back to school to get her degree as a Dental Hygienist. We are so glad to have her back working with us.
Monique is married and has three children, two boys and a daughter and two dogs, a hamster, and a turtle. As a family they love to go to the mountains to hike, camp, ski and snowboard, that is, when they are not at swim meets. Her husband Scott is a swim coach and teacher and all her kids are swimmers.
